The Small Time Podcast

The Small Time Podcast is hosted by Matt Stone and Phil Valenti of the Big Eagle Band. These two musicians have worked practically side by side since 1998 in many different variations of bands and musical projects from stage to studio and back. The suburban Chicago music scene is an interesting place to be involved with. Cover bands are king, as original music strives to retake the crown. Through it all, there are degrees of separation tying all of these people together. It is their quest to explore the histories of the scene and its people (including themselves) to find entertaining stories and perspectives about the players, the music and the highs and lows of micro-celebrity.
