Like any other artistic medium, cinema strongly borrows from real life, and we have attempted to create lists (and the eventual Rushmore selection) to be as diverse as possible.
We have avoided picking documentaries as we believe they are deserving of a separate list, and have done our best to avoid a string of war movies which would just be too obvious.
