Episode description

This episode is a 2 hour long lecture I gave on pretty much all my current thoughts for the future of gymnastics strength and conditioning.

I start by outlining how the values, habits, and culture that a gym has fosters motivation in young athletes. From there, we dive into all the details for strength exercises, power work, periodization, cardio, and planning throughout the year.

There is a huge change coming in gymnastics for building more "new school" models that blend both traditional body weight drills and external loading in line with current research. I hope you find it helpful!
