Episode description

I speak to Mahua and Soumyadipta from The YouTube and Instagram Page, "Stories of Bengali Hindus", and Samir Kalra From The Hindu American Foundation, about the atrocities committed by the Pakistani army on mainly Hindus in now Bangladesh in 1971.

According to many estimates, 2-3 million people lost their lives, around 10 million(mostly Hindus) were displaced in 1971. After the intervention of the Indian Army, Bangladesh was liberated from Pakistan.

Soumyadipta and Mahua, whose families originate from East Bengal(Bangladesh), remember stories of their families and many others. We also discussed With Samir from HAF how liberal media and "South Asian" organizations either ignore or try to hide the facts of this brutality.
