There's the place of training when it comes to discipleship; both the disciple and discipler need to be well trained. You can be well trained that your consecration doesn't affect other areas of your life.  You believed and trusted in God for salvation; do the same for ministry. It's good to have massive goals, but never forget that the essence of your life is the gospel. Giving to the work of God is also part of consecration. Anything you lose for the Gospel is worth it. There's the place of honouring God's call on your life that makes other people honour it too.
