193. Did You "Lower" Your Standards, Or Did You Just Have CONDITIONAL Standards?

I don’t actually believe in the idea of “lowering” your standards.

I don’t believe that STANDARDS can be lowered. A standard is something that just IS. It is the way things are, no unless, ifs, ands, or buts…

And if you disagree, I’m willing to bet you haven’t been setting standards. I think you’ve been setting conditions.

If your “standards” rely on outside factors and are constantly lowering and raising depending on what you’re experiencing, guess what? That’s not a standard.
