Episode description

Sean Hannity opens the hour by breaking down what he describes as a major turning point in the Iran conflict, with President Trump signaling that Tehran is preparing to give up its 60% enriched uranium and reopen the Strait of Hormuz. Hannity argues that the U.S. naval blockade and the success of Operation Epic Fury forced Iran into a corner without dragging America into a forever war. He also revisits his criticism of Pope Leo, defending his view that the world is safer without a nuclear-armed Iran and challenging what he sees as selective moral outrage from religious and political leaders. This hour is a fast-moving mix of Middle East strategy, Trump foreign policy, oil prices, and a fiery faith-and-politics debate.

Thanks to all of you for being with us. Right down our toll free telephone number this Friday, it is eight hundred and ninety four one Sean if you want to join us. The President giving a speech in Arizona on the economy. Great great news. I mean, if you if you look at the average American and how much money they are getting back this year from the IRS compared to last year because of the one Big, Beautiful Bill, it is a massive amount of money over about thirty

five hundred dollars on average. That's serious money in people's pockets. You're not going to hear it on the fake news legacy media mob or hear it from them, which is, you know, great for working men and women. They deserve a break. We're not an under tax nation. We're an overtax nation. And you know, as soon as the price of oil, by the way, is way way down today, it looks like we're going to set another record on the SMP and the Nasdaq. We're almost back to the

fifty thousand mark on the Dow, which is incredible. It's been you know the price of oil, what is it down to about eighty one dollars a barrel today? Uh, you know, dramatically down based on the news that the President had let me digress. One second, Linda, when I when I brought up the issue of how much I got out of my Catholic upbringing in my life and how fundamental it was to the person that I am today, I think people missed that part yesterday, correct. They didn't

want to hear that. That's accurate. Yep. The fact that I disagreed with the Pope got a lot of play, and the Pope's politics and the Pope getting involved in Paul that seemed to get the most play. Right. You have been more than forthcoming on everything, right. I mean, there's so much that I would not be the person I am today without the Catholic Church. When the when the Pope says God does not bless any conflict, isn't the God of the Old Testament the same God in

the New Testament. We'll get into this later in the program. Because the Bible contains check it out for yourself. You get hit rock hitchat GVT. Look it up. It contains over four hundred references to war depicting God again the God of the New Testaments, the same God in the Old Testament. I am my father are one. I come to fulfill the prophets and the scripture and the etcetera, etcetera, and the law, and I do the will of my father.

You know, I am, always was, always will be ever present, omnipotent anyway, But anyway, the Bible depicts God authorizing, commanding, and intervening in battles. That contradicts what the Pope said. God does not bless any conflict. So I took it on. How long I've been doing this since nineteen eighty seven? What did I tell you yesterday before I dip my toe into this topic? I said, watch what happens? Did I not? Yes, you did. I mean, I've done it long enough to know when I'm going to say some

thing that some people are not going to like. What do you think You're smarter than the Pope? You know more about the Bible than the Pope. No, But I just think the Pope is wrong on this. And I think that the world is better off without having a nuclear armed Iran. And I think, you know, especially after the last century and one hundred million dead people, because we didn't neutralize threats when we had all the evidence we'd ever need. Were emerging, and we didn't take them out.

The world didn't take them out. I think if you don't learn the lessons of history, you do them to repeat it. Anyway, we'll get back to that later in the program. Don't need to digress too deeply right now. But I fully expected. Every attack I've gotten is not one that surprised me. There's not one, and it's all predictable. The interesting thing is everyone forgot all the good things that I said about the Catholic Church and how influential it was in my life and out of My faith

has grown dramatically as a result of that foundation. Twelve years in Catholic schools, four years in a seminary studying theology Latin, going to Mass every day, how beautiful the Mass is, how instrumental it was to forming my conscience, to my foundational understanding of Christianity, which it is the most important thing in my life. And well, Donald Trump's not perfect. You know, he's the president, he's not the pope. The pope should be about faith, God, religion and Jesus

in my view, and should be biblically accurate. And I just they just have very different roles. And maybe that's where the conflict comes in. I was not doing it to do great people in any way, and if people took it that way, I was not intended to be that way, all right. So the President announced Iran, with the help of the US, as removed or is removing

all C minds. Thank you, President dj T. The President says, Iran, with the help of the US, is working to remove all SA minds from the straight up Hormuz important also, and he has just been on a truth storm. The failing New York Times and fake news CNN and others they don't know what to do, desperately looking for a reason to criticize President Donald J. Trump on the Iran situation, but they really can't find it. Why don't they just say at the right time, job well done, mister president,

and start to gain back some credibility. Anyway, the President has been tweeting and or true thing all over the place. Thank you to Pakistan, the great Prime Minister Field Marshall, two fantastic people. Again, this steal is not tied in any way to Lebanon. We will make Lebanon great again. I hope that the ceasefire is real. I've never trusted and never believed that the Lebanese army was capable of

dealing with Hasbala. Maybe with a bankrupting of Iran currently, maybe the flow of arms to Iran's proxy has Bala in Lebanon will come to an end. President also thanks Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Cutter, Katar, whichever you prefer, for their bravery and their help. He said, now the straight of Hormuz situation is over. I received a call from NATO asking if we need some help. I told them to stay away unless they want to just load up their ships with oil. They were useless when needed a

paper tiger, President DJT mark my words. And this is just a prediction, not based on any anything else. NATO and its current configuration will not exist. But maybe the best truth of the day by the President, the US will get all nuclear dust. What is nuclear dust? That's how the President affectionately refers to the sixty percent enriched uranium. He said, the US will get all nuclear dust created by our great b two bombers. No money will exchange

hands in any way, shape or form. This deal is in no way subject to Lebanon but either but the US will separately work with Lebanon and deal with the Hezbollah situation in an appropriate manner. Israel will not be bombing Lebanon any longer they are prohibited from doing so by the US. Enough is enough, thank you, thank you. And this is after the most effective attack by the

Israelis against Hezbalah in Lebanon. Ever, and the President went into more detail, the Strait of Hormuz is completely open, ready for business full passage. The naval blockade will remain in full force and effect as it pertains to Iran only until such time as our transaction with Iran as one hundred percent complete. This process should go very quickly, in that most of the points are already negotiated. Thank you for your attention to this matter, President Donald J. Trump.

Iran has just announced the the Straight of Hormuz is fully open and ready for full passage. Anyway, he said, it will no longer be used as a weapon against

the world. So, I mean the President's saying a lot here, and I think we need to digest what it is that the President saying, if in fact what the President is writing that we are now on the verge of the Iranians voluntarily giving up their sixty percent enriched uranium, that in spite of a lot of liars, conspiracy theorists that you know, came up with these concocted views that somehow Prime Minister Ntsan Yahoo Israel, Fox News host Sean Hannity,

Mark Levin, Ben Shapiro, whoever it was, convinced the President to do this. They don't know President Donald J. Trump. I probably know him better than all of these people combined. And I know for a fact that names you would know that are dead set and have been the dead set against any military action in the Middle East or

anywhere else. Modern day isolationists. To me that they were in front of President Trump, you know, just the day, two days, three days before Midnight Hammer, before Epic Fury, begging the President not to be involved. I can also tell you that there are people very very close in his cabinet, in a circle, the highest ranking people in government, that there were a number of them that disagreed on the military action of Midnight Hammer and Epic Fury. It's

not like the President didn't hear many opposing voices. It's that the President took it all in as he always does, and unlike what gets reported by people, then the President made up his own mind, which is what I could have told you would always be the case. Now they have taken out the Navy, they have taken out their ballistic missiles to a great extent, they have taken out their ability to enrich uranium. Now they're going to get

these sixty percent enriched uranium. The reason the President went forward with epic fury in spite of what some people may suggest to you that don't clearly understand the Trump doctrine. Trump doctrine has never been isolationism. The Trump doctrine. If it was isolationism, we wouldn't have taken out the Isis Caliphate. Solomani Bagdaddy dropped the mother of all bombs on Afghanistan, and we wouldn't have dropped fourteen bunker buster bombs on

their nuclear sites. But President Trump realizes also and has learned. The President Trump is relying on three specific historic lessons here, peace through strength, a which he built out our military in the first term. If he didn't, Biden didn't do anything to expand it or help it, very important, otherwise we would not be as advanced tarily as we are today.

You're watching the next generation of weaponry in real time, be unfold before your rise, and there's going to be multiple there's going to be numerous improvements on this at a pace that we've never seen in the history of mankind, and we better stay ahead of the curve on it. He's also relying on the last one hundred years of human history, and that is the last century, and that's maw China, Thollin Russia, Hitler Germany, Mussolini fascism tojo Japan

pol potic killing fit. He's relying on that history and the idea that historically we could have neutralized many of these threats as they were emerging and stating very very ambitious goals with a willingness that they were telegraphing pretty openly to destroy anybody and everybody in their way to achieve it. And what the President's learned is if you get a chance to neutralize the threat before they can create a modern day Holocaust, it's probably a good idea

to do it. And I hate Nazi, I just I can't stand on Over the years I've resisted this overuse of a Nazi analogies, but it's applicable here. If you could neutralize Hitler before the Holocaust. Would it have been a wise thing to do to listen to the likes of Winston Churchill for example, Yes, of course it would. Through the prism of history, we can say that. And through the prism of history, President Trump has learned that.

He's applying that now. When the President now is saying that we're going to get all of this nuclear dust, but the President is saying here is deep, and it is profound, and it is beyond impactful. When the President says that Iran is removing all sea minds and the straight of hoorn Moves is open, that is a huge success. And it's only due to the President's peace through strength policies in his naval blockade that many didn't think would

be successful. When the President said, this deal is not tied in any way to Lebanon, but he still wants to try for a peace deal with Lebanon. In an Israel, the President is showing once again that he is, you know, puts peace first. He's given the Iranians every opportunity for peace before Midnight Hammer, before the Israeli struck, even before that and even before epic fury, they chose not to.

And then the President going on to say that we will be removing all of this nuclear dust is a great accomplishment for the world if in fact the president ends up being able to accomplish the two things that he set out to do. Now, some of you may want him to do more. Some of you will say, well, you know, we can't if they're allowed to, you know,

keep their ability to have an economy. Well, what about the nine billion Iranians, most of which don't want this theocracy and this radical Islamic regime in place because they're being impressed by them. Anyway, you know what happens to them if you wipe out the economy. Right now, their currency is word zero, they have one hundred and eighty percent inflation rate. Over half their workforce is done, and the US will get all the nuclear dust. No money

will exchange hands. There's a lot of rumors about that yesterday. This deal is in no way subject to Lebanon. But the US will work with Lebanon and deal with the his ball of situation in an appropriate manner. Israel has agreed not to be bombing Lebanon any longer. Now, are you going to tell me that this has not been a successful military effort? Other people that are not going to be able to say the world's a safer place. I don't think so. Democrats have been predicting a disaster.

The isolationists have been wanting failure. That one thing they all have in common, all the presidents' opponents, they have wanted him to fail. He's not failed. He has succeeded on a level that nobody would have thought possible. No president could have accomplished but him. As far as I'm concerned, my teach news on so many different fronts. Eight hundred nine to fourt one, Shawn is on number. We'll get to a lot of your calls. I know some of you mad at me over my comments about the pope

attacking the president. And how dare you, mister Hannay, how dare you point out that there are four hundred direct references from God about war which contradicts the pope. Okay, unless he speaks ex cathedra, and that means he's not infallible. I learned that in Theology too. Exposing government waste and abuse of your liberties every day. Sean Hannity is on right now, all right, I want to highlight again very specifically what the president is saying, because it's been a

lot of speculation and I don't know why. Yesterday, I was getting all these panic calls that the President he's about to pay money to the Iranians for the dust, and I'm like, that doesn't sound like President Trump to me. But I was listening to them, and there were no confirmed reports of it, and I did my own digging and I found out it wasn't true. And this just seems to happen to President Trump all the time. I'm not really sure why, but it does. And it's frustrating.

It's frustrating because I think people have agendas. So the only real word that we can count on is the President's home words. And we have been talking in great length and great specificity about the sixty percent enriched uranium. Remember I brought Steve Whitcoff, the Middle East Envoy. I

brought him on not once, but twice. He've been on radio and TV, and I brought him on because I don't think people heard what he was saying before epic fury the first time, because in spite of a lot of lies and conspiracy theories being spread by people that have whatever agenda they have, and I don't really care about them. I just like, I really have no interest in arguing with people that did not think it was necessary to prevent Iran from getting a nuclear weapon, because

I just don't think they're very intelligent. I don't think they understand. I don't think they've learned a lesson from the last century. I don't think that they understand the Trump doctrine or care to understand the Trump doctrine. I don't think they. I think the people that buy into isolationism are very very naive because eventually, and there was a very strong isolationist movement. They didn't want America to get involved in World War Two, and we paid a

very very high, dear price for World War Two. Just look at D Day, look at slamming the beaches in Normandy. Look at the tremendous price we paid. You know, look at what happened in Pearl Harbor. You know, people like my father spent four years in the Pacific. My father lost a lot of friends. So the president learned those lessons and many others have not. And we'll get into

that in a second. But for the President to announce that the Iranians now have agreed to give up the sixty percent enriched uranium, as he affectionately calls nuclear dust created by our great b two bombers. No money now again, this is what people were calling me, telling me yesterday and names you'd RECOGNI and they were in a state of panic. The President's given in, the President's given in.

I'm like, doesn't sound like him to me. Let me, let me do a little digging, let me make a few phone calls, let me see what's really going on. And if you really know what Donald Trump, if you really want to know what he's thinking, you got to listen to what he's saying. And this is what he's posting. And when he's posting, he's saying it. He said, no money will exchange hands in any way, shape or form.

Last night, I think I saw the first article and the first massive blaring headline, Donald Trump to give twenty billion dollars to Iran if they give up, if they give up their enriched uranium. Okay, And then I'm like, this doesn't sound like Donald Trump to me. This is not the guy that wrote the Art of the deal. That's not how this guy negotiates. Now, when President Trump

had lost his voice earlier in this this week. I happened to know a thing or two about losing voices, and there's been more than one occasion I've talked to the President about how to get your voice back quickly, and there are medications that you can use. I also thought people like my friend Curtis Sliwo ran for me. He used to lose his voice all the time, and I tell him how to get it back. And so anyway, I did talk to the President. He was screaming he

had taken over the negotiations with Iran. That's that's one of the untold stories. There had been other people involved, but finally the President said, you know what, they've got to hear directly from me and we I And that also is like part of Donald Trump's personality too. And this is where if you recall Linda long before epic fury started, and you can confirm what I am saying

is true? Did I not say many times in the days leading up to that opening salvo that took out the Supreme Leader and his top lieutenants, Did I not after reports came out that they had a plane on a tarmac and were ready to seek exile in Russia, and that they'd been granted exile in Russia. And I said, they're probably on those planes. They've probably packed with cash and other currencies and gold and silver and everything in between.

And did I not say repeatedly, and you can be my witness and we can go back and pull the tapes that my advice to the Supreme Leader and those around him is get out while you can. Did I not warn them many many times? I think you said, actually all of you gather in the same exact building at the same exact time, so we can kill you all at once. Wasn't that what you saw? I can always wish for horrible things to happen, is that's what they did. They did not heed your advice, that's for sure.

They did not heed my advice. I said, now would be the time to go. And now I have been saying that while the I know what president is doing here, and I know people are going to hear this and they're not going to understand it. Before Israel, remember there was the fifty day window where Israel was going to negotiate with the Iranians in the hope of a peace deal. The President would say every day publicly, my first preference is peace. I'd rather this not happen. The fifty days passed,

the Iranians didn't make a deal. Israel started wiping out their air defense systems, their you know, their ballistic missile systems and everything in between. And it was the brutal beginning, you know, leading up to Midnight Hammer. But even before Midnight Hammer, President Trump gave them time to negotiate. In other words, at that moment, he was looking for them to agree to give up the enrichment of or having the ability to enrich uranium, because the Iranians had wanted

nuclear weapons. President gave them time. Then he dropped fourteen bunker buster bombs and wiped out there in Richmond facilities. Of course they're going to want to rebuild them, but again every generation, we'll have to take on the responsibility of protecting freedom for the next generation. And even before epic fury, I gave them all this warning. I didn't know that their leadership was going to be taken out in the opening salvo, but I knew that their lives

would be at risk. It was very evident that what was about to happen. That's why I was saying reports their planes are on the tarmac, they've likely filled with cash, and they're going to seek asylum in Plutin's Russia. My advice, get on that plane as soon as possible and get out. Now, why you have a chance. They're all dead. And then the next the next tier of leadership is now dead as they convened to replace the supreme leader. And then after that, the next tier of leaders has been taken out,

one after another after another. Now we're dealing with the fourth and fifthier of leadership. So the President has been very patient. It would be very simple for America not to need a naval blockade. All we'd have to do is take out their ability. Their economy is almost exclusively dependent on oil. They have zero currency value right now, They have one hundred and eighty percent inflation right now. Half of their workforce is out of work and not

getting any form of income. The country is on the vergic collapse. The President could make this permanent. The President, though, clearly is thinking about innocent Iranians that had suffered over the last forty seven years under this terrorist Islamic revolutionary regime. And the president, if he does take carg Island, takes away their economy and takes away the ability of the U uranium people to build out They're great, they're once great culture once again, and he doesn't want to do that.

It probably would be the safer choice. It would be the choice that means that the money that they otherwise can get from an oil economy that they the odds will be high that they're going to want to build out morbillistic missiles, rebuild their missile defense systems, and probably

reconstitute their nuclear program. I'm not disputing that. However, is the world better and safer now that the President announced that we will get all of this sixty percent enriched uranium, the nuclear dust created by our great B two bombers. The President put to rest the lie that he was going to pay twenty billion dollars. He said, no money will exchange exchange hands in any way, shape or form. This deal is in no way subject to Lebanon either.

There's been a lot of calls I got yesterday that it was that these two deals were connected. He's saying, no, that's not true. But the US will separately work with Lebanon and deal with hiszballah and the situation in an appropriate manner as well. Will not be bombing Lebanon anymore longer. But that doesn't mean that his balla gets the bomb Israel either. At that point the President would reverse course pretty quickly. I know him pretty well. And so the

President is talking about great success here. And then the President said the straight of horm Moves is open, and the Iranians have said that the straight oh hor Mooz is open. And he said, now that the horm Movez straight situation is over, he goes, I just received a call from NATO asking if we would need some help. I mean, it was a big proclamation that Starmer and McCrone were meeting on the situation and how can they

get the straight of hor Moves open? Well, the President put out another truth, The Straight of hor Moves is completely open, ready for business full at full passage. The naval blockade will remain in force and effect as it pertains to Iran only until such time is our transaction with the Ran as one hundred percent complete. This process should go very quickly, and that most of the points are already negotiated. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

And then Iran announced that the Straight of Horror Moves is fully and ready to use for full passage. Now, I have no doubt that there's probably some holdovers in the Iranian regime that don't want any of this. But if the President is able to pull all of this off with a minimal, minimal, especially by historical comparisons, amount of calciatles, you know, I just say to anybody with an announce of common sense, is the world better off?

Is the world safer? Did the President not take a great political but yet calculated risk to make the world safer? As the President been consistent in what his goals are here, has the President achieved every military objective? Does the President really want a blockade to stay there forever? I don't think so. Is the President really trying to make peace

with Israel and Lebanon? I believe he is. Does the President want to see peace deals emerge on the other side of this, with countries like Saudi Arabia and every other Gulf country recognizing Israel's right to exist and going into peace agreements, Yes he does. Does the President really want an end to the conflict in Europe with Ukraine in Russia? Yeah he does. But for the Iranians to agree to handover the enriched uranium, open up the strait.

You've got to say that this is a tremendous moment of success based entirely on a president's on wavering commitment to destroy the ability of this regime to ever have a nuclear weapon, the understanding that the world would be held hostage if in fact they did. Israeli Prime Minister bb Netnaw who confirmed the ceasefire with Lebanon, hailing it

as an opportunity to make historic peace with Lebanon. In a later state in Netnow who claimed the agreement was accepted at Trump's request, adding that Israel will provide an opportunity to advance an integrated diplomatic and military solution with the Lebanese government. He praised the president's help in changing

the Middle East and achieving tremendous accomplishments. Now, by the way, they may have different goals than America has, meaning Israel, but that's not been what the president's stated goal is. And if we get the dust, the Strait of Hormuz is open. How do you say that this is anything but an unprecedented historical military success. You know, and it was a great article out there. Despite constant media lying democrats life, this has been a tremendous success for the president.

And by the way, like everything this president and it does, he's willing to take great risk to do great, big things. Oh, you know, we'll find out how this all ends. I hope it ends peacefully. I've been saying that for a long time. I really do hope it ends peacefully. I think it's better for the world. How ridiculous is it that today that Neville Chamberlain, Keir Starmer, and French President Macrone.

You know, they're now being laughed at for playing the role of being relevant as it relates to the Straight or her moves. They're meeting in Paris for critical discussions on reopening the Straight. Maybe somebody should tell them that, guess what, Donald Trump already accomplished that for you, and you would nowhere to be found. So when America pulls out of NATO and you're left to defend yourself, maybe you'll regret not being having the moral clarity to stand

up against the number one state sponsor terror. Right will be come back. I know some of you want to call about my comments on the FOBE. We'll get to that, Alan Derschwitz, Maheck Cook, and much more. We'll do a news round up for the week
