Intro / Opening

Music. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. Hey guys, this is Gerald Peters.

Welcome back to the Science of Getting Rich podcast.

Welcome back to the Science of Getting Rich podcast. Strange times, man. President declaring war on the world. Tariffs, markets being rocked. If you're like me, maybe you already had some problems. Maybe you already had some issues. And now you might feel pressed, compressed on all sides. I know I do. And as I look around, see other people, they don't realize, but they are living their lives in chains. See, they can't see those chains. They don't even know they exist.

If you're not careful, you can follow a script that's been handed to you literally from birth. And we can go about our lives in quiet desperation, never questioning, never attempting to escape. But you, like me, that's why you're here, you started to see cracks. I don't know when you saw the cracks for you. For me, I was 27 years old. I'd read the book Rich Dad Poor Dad. It had just come out. And I knew that this was different than what was being presented to me.

This was different than what I was shown in high school. This was different than what my parents were doing. See, nobody around me was pursuing wealth. Nobody around me was trying to get rich. Nobody around me even spoke or talked about the concept of financial independence or living outside the matrix. And so I knew there was more instinctually inside of me, just like you do. And you probably feel it deep, deep down in your gut.

That intuition. And you probably, like me, have a hunger for something bigger. And not only bigger, but something real. To be more, to do more, and to have more. Not just to have, but to help, and to give, and to bless others.

And through my life, and through my journey, i formed this organization and ultimately it became known as the money flow trading society, but it's bigger than that it's not just trading and so eventually we began to refer to it as mfg or money flow gang this idea that money flows be the people in the mfg they're not looking for shortcuts. And we definitely were not looking for handouts. None of my friends are that. We are kind of like the black sheep. We're the rebels.

We are the dreamers. If you've ever read my book, The Two Selves, How to Be Ten Foot Tall and Bulletproof. We are the ones who refuse to be controlled, and told what to do. We think there's more. The world, the matrix, will tell you to stay in line, to play it safe, to follow that path that keeps you comfortable, to seek benefits, to give up on your dreams and your goals, and to do what's right, the logical.

Take this safe way don't take risk be comfortable but see comfort is the enemy of greatness comfort is the enemy of all great men and all great women don't seek comfort.

And if this is new to you, if you've never heard these ideas and these concepts, that you, you personally, regardless of your age right now, regardless of where you live, regardless of your social economic status, regardless of your sexual orientation or even your race, any of that, all bullshit aside, you have in you the same spirit that Buddha had, Mohammed had, Jesus had, Henry Ford had, anyone that you look up to.

And you don't look up to anyone who sought comfort, who took a shortcut, who was looking for the easy way. Nobody looks up to that person. Nobody remembers them. And so if any of this sounds new, or maybe you need to recommit yourself. Maybe you've been in the MFG. Maybe you know me. Maybe you heard my voice, but you let it kind of drift. Maybe you started looking over here and looking over there, but you're ready to come back.

So if you're ready to destroy that old programming, and rebuild yourself from the ground up, if you're ready to step into a new world where power, control, and financial freedom belong to you, to be the king or the queen, the ruler of your own empire, then you are in the right place. Music.

Lesson One: The Truth About Wealth

Let's begin. Lesson one is the truth about wealth. If you have an ear to hear and you have a pen, let's begin by redefining what it means to be rich. There comes a moment in life when you realize the truth, the real truth, not the lies they've been feeding you since birth, not that programming that we're going to try to throw off.

Work to your 65 collect social security enjoy the last few years of your life play golf and die they told you that wealth and riches are about cars, mansions numbers in a bank account or a brokerage account they sold you a dream that was never meant for you to achieve.

The reality is that those are, tangible things It's the intangible things The things you can't read in a book You can't buy them You can't buy ethics, You can't buy, can-do Or work hard That's inside of you And let me tell you, that is wealth, Nobody can take what you think Nobody can take your discipline.

The world tries to sell us a dream but that dream is not meant for us it's definitely not meant for the MFG, because that dream just keeps you in line you never actually quite achieve it you never actually quite earn enough as you earn more your debt goes higher as you earn more you spend more, lifestyle and repeated over and over is this mantra of you have to enjoy life as if the only way to enjoy life is to work five days a week, take two days off, and spend as much money as possible.

And that is the definition of enjoying life. And then every so often taking a vacation. And if you do that, like everyone else, then somehow you're enjoying life. But let's strip away this illusion of wealth, this illusion of enjoying life. See, the truth is wealth has never been about possessions. It has never been about flauntings, It's never been about peacocking. It's never been about bank accounts.

True wealth is about freedom. The kind of freedom that allows you to wake up when you want to wake up, to move where you want to move, and to live life on your own terms. That is wealth. That is valuable. The most valuable asset on earth isn't land, isn't a business, isn't real estate, as much as those are very valuable. It is fine. P-I-M-E is the single most valuable asset on earth. You have a finite amount of time in this modern construct of the way we are now.

Now, once you pass, maybe there's a whole new thing. I don't know. Well, right here, time, how you spend it, how you invest it, and how you use it. And who you give it to imagine a life where your bills are covered without lifting a finger where your time is your own where no one can tell you what to do when to do it or how to live that my friends is the mfg way of life that's what we're all seeking see the true definition of success is to do what you want.

That's it. To do what you want for a living. To do what you want in life. To pursue the art, the work, whatever it is. That is true wealth and that is the very definition of success. Where your time is your own. Where no one can tell you what to do when to do it or how to live unless you have decided to let them. That's real wealth. That's the only kind of wealth that matters.

The first step in getting there, understanding that this system that we live in today, this was not built for you and it's definitely not built for you to win. There is no job that's going to provide this for you. The job is going to pay your bills. That's it. No one's getting wealthy from their job. So we have to understand that. Have to understand that this system wasn't built for the 7% that run this world. That they live outside of that modern construct of this system.

I've worked five days a week, have a bunch of debt, go on trips, barely get by, and then live on government handout, government social. That is not what we're looking to do. The system has trained us to trade our time for money, to work harder, to sacrifice, to grind endlessly while they sit back and collect from the machines that taught you to spend instead of to invest, to consume instead of to create and collect. But now you know the truth.

If your income was to stop today, your life falls apart. You have a problem. That means you are not rich. And if your money isn't working for you while you sleep, you're still a slave to this modern system. So what do you do? How do we escape it?

Escape the Rat Race

Some people refer to escaping their rat race. What they mean is, how do I get control of my own life and my own time? Well, Fred, listen up. It starts today. The reprogramming of your mind starts right now. You are no longer just a worker. You are no longer just a piece in their game.

You are the master of your faith build income streams that don't require your presence assets that generate money while you're elsewhere or while you're building or while you're resting and that my friends is what the money flow trading society is all about. Music.
