In our first regular episode of the new year, host Rick Houston sits down with Larry McReynolds for an insider's perspective on the early years of the longtime crew chief's NASCAR career. Filled with a number of peaks and valleys, Larry Mac worked for legendary drivers Mark Martin and Tim Richmond in circumstances that were, at times, quite trying. In our second segment, Rick is joined by co-host Steve Waid for a discussion of the 1983 spring race at Darlington, won by Harry Gant. The race saw pre-race parts confiscations AND a post-race inspection that initially found Mark Martin with an oversized engine.
