Philip Howard wasn’t sure of the path he was supposed to tread. Raised outwardly Protestant but secretly Catholic, Philip spent a great deal of time not committing to either side. However, when he became Earl of Arundel, he bravely shouldered the responsibilities given to him and begin helping to hide undercover priests. His journey from rebellious teenager to a Catholic dissident teaches lessons of Trust, Courage, and Prudence. 

This series contains moments of fear and intensity, including intrigue, raised voices, and arguments. As a young man, Philip is unsure of his faith and is rebellious toward his family and their expectations. An execution is implied. Several characters are imprisoned for their faith. Philip’s Father gives him a letter written in blood. A character dies of old age in-scene. A character is referenced as having been tortured. A character is threatened with execution.
