At 76 years old, Don Attix is the oldest active member of ski patrollers at Sugar Bowl Resort. A heart attack while on the mountain changed his outlook and moved him to form a support group for men at Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital which soon merged with the existing women's group "We all have hearts," he said.
