Gianna Shamone joins us today on The Safe Haven, opening up about how she’d lost herself in a relationship – a relationship that resulted in a groundbreaking break-up.
As she navigated her healing, she began writing poetry. In addition to the healing, writing itself brought forward even more than she could have ever expected. As Gianna wrote, the idea of publishing came to mind. She was flooded with limiting beliefs about how no one would be interested in her work, but she pushed through and promised herself she’d complete the book and publish it.
Gianna shares her range of emotions along this journey, and even reads us one of her favourite poems in her book, Finding Me.
