Episode description

Vaneeta Kaur had hit her rock bottom while working a job she wasn’t happy in. She was relying on unhealthy habits and patterns to keep her going and communicating with others. It wasn’t until she came in contact with a therapist changed everything. Vaneeta, always a writer, started journaling with more intention, bringing an awareness to her thoughts. Having her thoughts down physically on paper helped her see the thoughts that were controlling her life, and allowed her to literally see and cross off the ones that were unnecessary.

Through a lifestyle focused on over productivity, it was a blessing in disguise to be made redundant at her corporate job. The burn out Vaneeta was experiencing was jeopardizing her health and wellness in various ways.

Taking time for herself and focusing on her writing, Vaneeta began to feel better in her body, mind and spirit. It was the time and consistency choosing herself first that has helped shift her life into a more positive place, and her books are sharing her learnings and perspectives with others in both subtle and more obvious ways.
