Episode description

Life long journalist and creative writer Tamara Sellman went back to school at 47 to study sleep technology. A lover of reading and writing, she was left in total shock and a space of concern when she lost her ability to read or comprehend the words in her textbook while going to study for exams.

Scans and tests confirmed her diagnosis with Multiple Sclerosis, (MS) and led Tamara into a space of grief as she worked through processing this new information. As a writer, she worked through her grief and new diagnosis with words and writing.

Along with finding her people and learning to accept where she’s at in every moment, Tamara’s time camping and being in nature allowed her the time and the space to process and write her book, titled Intention Tremor.
