Episode description

Joining me this week is Christina Wahi (she/her)! Christina talks about fat phobia, life experience in a larger body type and the layers of wellness or being unwell. We talk about the importance of the language we use, how hurtful "feeling fat" can be and how to be an advocate for yourself and your wellbeing!

Christina came out publicly this year at the age of 37 as Queer and Bisexual. She shares her story, the importance of labels, and reminds us that "we need to be open to the concept that the label that you use for yourself right now isn't always going to be the appropriate label to define yourself with later."
