On today’s episode of The Rose Room, Tommy Dainko has a conversation with Dr. Gillian Gower. Dr. Gower is a musicologist at Lamont who teaches many classes about Opera history. In this episode, Tommy and Dr. Gower discuss a short history of opera, Dr. Gower's special interests and what brought her to Lamont, and some issues that modern opera companies face in regards to racism, and promoting people that may not deserve the spotlight.
