14 – Through the Storm
Episode description
In Matthew 14, we see that Jesus called Peter out on to the water. He stepped out and began walking towards Jesus, but when Peter looked away from Him, he began to sink.
Do you ever feel like that? That the moment you lose your focus on Jesus the whole world comes crashing in? This story of Peter is the perfect example of why it’s so important to always keep our eyes on the Lord. He will sustain us in the storm. He will bring us through any life circumstance we may go through but the kicker is, the moment we try to take it into our own hands, we WILL sink. It's not a matter of we may sink... the truth is, we will sink the moment we lose site of the Lord. Are you trusting Him to get you through the storm right now? If so, don't lose sight of Him.
