One hundred and fifty two years ago, in eighteen seventy two, Susan B. Anthony voted illegally in a presidential election. Good for her, women couldn't vote.
She was arrested, She went to trial. She was fined one hundred dollars, which is about two thousand dollars in today's money. By the way, her vote didn't count because women couldn't vote. Then she voted for Ulysses S. Grant, who won defiantly never paid the fine. Women weren't legally about loud to vote until nineteen twenty, when the nineteenth Amendment passed.
