Yesterday, a woman with a gun going through a mental crisis caused a major backup and major headlines forty five in spring Is where it happened. She got in a stand off with authorities after she intentionally crashed into an eighteen wheeler around one thirty yesterday afternoon, and after the crash, she got out of her car, pulled out a lawn chair, and held a gun to herself.

Complete highway closure, heavy police tactical presence, and finally at least one member of her family able to talk to the woman and then buy. Around six thirty pm, the woman surrendered, taken into custody when she dropped the gun and hugged negotiators as she was handcuffed. The Sheriff's office official say the woman is sixty four years old has a history of mental illness.

But we're glad it ended the way it took.

We know what happens when it rains really fast and really hard in our great city, and yesterday was one of those days. The heavy rainfall caused street flooding across Houston, leading to road closures, mainly Galleria Heights area. Yes, I'm calling this spotlight. My children they just competed. They compete in Olympic weightlifting and they just compete it at the USA with lifting nationals in Colorado Springs. How old my son got thirty?
