Though I often mix blues styles in a show, I don’t often mix blues eras. The 206th Roadhouse brings in a few more pre-war blues cuts, mixing them with artists who are clearly influenced by these early blues. Sparks Brothers, Bo Carter, Muddy Waters, Kim Wilson, and Willie Kent highlight the hour.
