On Scolds Australia. This is the Reader Panicky Show.
Good evening, Anne, Welcome to the Reader Panety Show. Coming up tonight. Peter Duzn's strong poll numbers can found members of the leftist media as voters. Mark Dan Anthony Albinizi for his handling of climate policy and the cost of living crisis. The ABC's pro renewable activism reaches new lows.
I'll speak to Professor Ian Plimer about that shortly. Diane de d Dunlevy joins me later in the hour to talk about Princess Kate's return and Jerry Seinfeld silencing a heckler at his Sydney show, and the always amusing Alex Stein joins me with the latest from the US, where polls reveal at clear majority now back mass deportations. And of course we never forget left. He's losing it. Let's see how tolerant the folk at this pridle rally are when they see a proud Jewish man.
I have been a light long LGBTQ activist. I believe in the values of protecting LGBTQ people, but they are.
Attacking us in the middle of a pride march.
Am I not supposed to be welcome within my own LGBTQ community because I am Jewish, because I'm Israeli. We're people of the all nationalities here, all different types of LGBTQ people, and we're being.
Booed right now.
World. Let's bring in Sky News contributor prou McSwain prove we're going to start. In Victoria, former Premier Dan Andrews is fighting a Supreme Court order to hand over his mobile phone records from the day of a near fatal car accident where a fifteen year old cyclist was a
badly hurt in twenty thirteen. Michael Warner reports in The Herald Son that Dan Andrews were slacked with a subpoena outside his Mulgrave home in March, and lawyers fought Ryan Muhlman, who was fifteen when he was struck by the Andrews family suv down in blake Gowry in the Mornington Peninsula. They're seeking to establish who mister Andrews spoke to and when,
amid concerns of interference in the collisions aftermath. In sworn statements to police, Dan Andrews and his wife Catherine, who was driving, say they immediately called Triple zero for an ambulance, but police documents suggests the call was placed four minutes after the crasher. Ryan Mulman's father says he doesn't understand why Dan Andrews has hired a lawyer to fight the court subpoena, telling the Herald's son, what has he got to hide? He just received an order of Australia. He's
meant to be exemplary and yet he's doing this. A neighbor called the moment she heard the crash, So what was Andrew's waiting for? What the hell was he doing in those four minutes. Dan Andrews has engaged high profile loyal Leon Zwire to fight the order. As Zwire was recently giving advice to Britney Higgins, you might recognize his name. Dan Andrews's position on this matter is that this subpoena
is a fishing expedition. But fishing expedition or not from McSwain, this is a issue that is not going to go away. More than a decade later, it's still unresolved in the eyes of many.
Well Rita, it's this father is not the only one scratching their head about this. It's very unusual behavior, and it's yet another intriguing chapter in the life of this premiere. It's quite a page turner, isn't it. We're all sort of waiting to see what's next.
You know.
He left, we thought with a whimpa But it's really become a bang, hasn't it.
It has? And we'll delve into this a little bit more deeply on tomorrow's program. I'm going to be speaking to the father of this teenager at the time, who was badly hurt in the accident, and we will get into the nitty gritty on tomorrow's program. Now, new poll for the Nine Papers shows Opposition leader Peter Dutton has taken the lead as preferred Prime Minister, is now backed by thirty six percent of voters, compared with Anthony Alberanize's
thirty five percent. Peter Tartan also had good news in the latest Financial Review Freshwater Strategy poll. Voters have marked down Anthony Alberzi for his handling of climate policy and the cost of living crisis. Prue Labour's primary vote is down to twenty eight percent.
Well, you said in your opening remarks that the left leaning media were surprised. I don't think many of us would be surprised because when you look this faltering government and this weak prime minister, where you know he's from the start, even pre election, you know, we always had our doubts about him with detail, with his competency, and we saw again during the Voice campaign, which was so all conceived and he just misread the whole of the nation that this man is a bit of a pretender leader.
And now, of course, when the chickens are coming home to roosts, when people have suddenly decided that they can't afford the luxury of worrying about climate change, that they need to worry about whether the climate in their house is going to be warm enough because if they can put their damn heater on because of the cost of energy, and the fact that their poor kids are probably shivering and wondering what's going to be for eton if they in fact have a home they can skip, you know.
So these are the fundamental problems and worries of lived experience Australians. And Dutton is looking stronger, he's looking like he's a leader. He's giving you some solutions and confidence that he can give us a cost of living. You know, I don't know, just a cost of living alternative to what's being offered, and you know, relieve the pressures on us.
And also the romance with climate change and energy is suddenly ending that people are waking up to the fact that this government, Bowen in particular, have led us down the garden path and really it's hiding to nothing. And Bowen has no clothes and people are suddenly realizing that the emperor has no clothes and they're waking up. And this is why the Liberals are doing so well well.
The Sydney Morning Herald's chief political correspondent, David Crow he warned on Friday to Dutton's climate change agenda was going to be a liberal wasteland, lead to a liberal wasteland, and a couple of days later his paper has got Dutton as preferred PM. I'll speak more about that with Professor m Plymer. Shortly, let's talk about Channel nines ongoing issues. One of their most beloved stars, Kerrie Anne Kenley, she's taken aim at her former employer and she's spoken about
the entrench culture of bullying and intimidation. Their broadcast has been hit with new allegations prove of serious misconduct by senior executives. Kerry Anne Kennley told The Australian I experienced the nine culture professionally and personally over decades, and it is learned behavior, bad behavior and bad management skills or lack of them, was wrong and it was always wrong. But the perpetrators got away with it because they learned from senior management. It was intre by senior people who
had gone before them. She also said the management style was to pit people and shows against each other in the assumption that would get the best out of them. That included bullying and foul language and intimidation and extreme behavior. If Nine thought a couple of high profile departures from the management ranks would see and enter this saga, I
think they were sadly mistaken. It seems like there is a lot more coming here, and I know a number of journalists are doing investigations on this story as we speak.
Well, Rita, you know, I couldn't agree more with Kerry Anne. I worked as a reporter Channel nine for many, many years, and then I worked as a PR consultant to them, so I do know that that culture was there. It was a hangover of the seventies and eighties. It was a very bloky culture where you had to be one of the blokes if you wanted to serve, or you had to tolerate some of the less attractive things that
happened in the boardroom. You know, it was often that you went to the bar, and you had to go to the bar, and this is where things happened. So unless you were a very resilient young woman, you had problems. And sadly it was a hangover of that period. And it seems to be that that culture is still going on, not just at nine, It's probably been going on in a lot of other newsrooms. It's just Nine's been dragging its feet for a long time, clearly, and hasn't recognized that times have changed.
Have you considered, given your experience with the network, talking to the independent investigator they've got in place, to detail just what you saw with your own eyes during that period, I.
Would be prepared to read it. Do you have to say that I grew up in that era where it was almost acceptable.
You just went along with it.
I was never probably maybe they were scared of me or didn't find me attractive.
I was never actually put upon.
But I have to say, I'd be prepared to have a talk to them about it, But you know, I also accept that there was an era. It's not excusable, but it was an era when I you know, I was in other newsrooms where this seemed to be acceptable.
Now, New South walesa Treasurer Daniel Mooki is warning that the reelection of Donald Trump will be the biggest threat to his state's economy in the years to come because of the way Donald trump policies will impact international trade. Is this guy serious proof? This sounds like delusions of grandeur. Leants to have a say about the US presidency. Really is that going to be the major issue for your South Wales?
It's astounding that Trump derangement syndrome has gone to the halls of or reach the halls of Macquarie Street. Look, I would have thought, given Labour's policies and anxiety about commodities fossil fuels, I would be a little bit more concerned about the fact that if they don't have iron ore and oil and coal income that that's going to have a much greater impact on the budget of not only the New South Wales politicians, but in fact federally
and they are delusional. Why doesn't Murky just start understanding that it's the immigration figures of his beloved FEDS, and it's the fact that slack planning laws and this incredible white green or red green and indigenous tape that is part of its signature of the planning bureaus in New South Wales and around Australia that are holding up development. And that's why we can't get new housing. So focus on your own backyard, mate, and forget about Trump.
Yeah I would have thought so if you even had those thoughts. Yet keep them to yourself because you might look like a bit of a fool opining about such issues. Per xween, Thank you so much for your time this evening. Joining me now is a steam geologist professor in Plimer. Let's start with Peter Dutton's upping the ante on the nation's energy policy and its net zero commitments. The usual political pundits did what they always do. They warned of
electoral backlash and even oblivion. The chief political correspondent for the Sydney Morning Herald and The Age, David Crowe, wrote on Friday that Dutton's policy of astonishing weakness on the climate is risking a Liberal wasteland, saying the policy won't win back the voters who fled to the cross bench and it can make the Liberal campaigns far more difficult in other urban seats. But today Crow reported in the Sydney Morning Herald that Dutton was now preferred Prime minister
in their latest poll. And the political pundancy always in this country advise coalition parties to go to the center. What they really mean is to go to the left. And I believe that is a recipe for electoral oblivion, as we have seen in Victoria and we saw at the last WA election. And Peter Dutton is proving that if you actually stand for something and you articulate your position on energy policy, you can win hearts and minds.
Well. A poor old socialist moaning Herald in Sydney's it was one of the greatest newspapers in the world and has now become a socialist maning Herald. It moans and grains and all sorts of green issues. It almost every time it gets things wrong, and once they start giving
Dutn advice and then it's going over. Dutt has clearly hit a chord, as did Abbott, as have many of the conservative parties in Europe, as have many people in the US where Trump Dutton is hitting the cord, and that is we have had this massive ingress of wind and soul of power into our energy systems. Every time we put more wind and solar into our systems, our costs go up. There's something fundamentally and what Dutn is saying is we're going to have another look at this now.
I don't think he's gone far enough, but let's see how it goes. But the public is well behind him on this. They are hurting, especially people in suburbia. They are really hurting with absolutely monstrous electricity bills. So the socialist Mining herald Age in Melbourne are basically supporting the current green agenda of the government.
Well, the ABC are up in there and the Anti As far as a fighting any sort of nuclear strategy in this country, they say they went to Australia's biggest companies, they went to fund managers, they went to mining giants and now ask whether they think nuclear is a viable option for meeting emission targets. And apparently the response from all these folks was it's a unicorn and impossible without subsidies. What do you make of the ABC's reporting here in.
Well, it's very biased. They're a green activist network. They represent the Green vote, which is ten percent of the vote across the nation. And the vote of one company director or the vote of one fund manager is the same as the vote of someone in Western Sydney or Melbourne. Their vote is nothing special. They're the ones who are paying the bills. Those corporate executives can afford to pay thousands of dollars extra for their electricity because they're getting
paid in ordinate amounts of money. So it's certainly not representative of the electorate. It's certainly not giving a balanced view, and the ABC is trying to drive a political witch into a policy that they don't like. Maybe they should be having two sides of the debate discussed, but the ABC cannot do this. They have now been captured by the Greens. So the nuclear wedge is one which is rather ridiculous because we have a nuclear power station in Sydney.
It creates medical isotapes which get flown to the Pacific Islands and as far as Western Australia. Anyone who's been seriously ill has been dependent upon a reactor in Australia. We have many countries with reactors. Those countries that buy our yellow cake from South Australia, countries that have reactors and they burn this yellow cake in the reactors. So we are one of the few countries, advanced countries in the world without nuclear power. It's not a monster, it's
not it's well known, well established. I've used nuclear reactors in my research work. I've seen nuclear reactors in the center of towns. Nuclear reactors tried and proven technology. They are lasting technologies and they produce a monstrous amount of electricity.
Well, it's a little bit rich. I think for the ABC to be quoting these corporate heavyweights talking about this will be impossible without subsidies. But where would renewables be without subsidies? Well, and I do wonder what go ahead.
Maybe the ABC should run on renewable power, and that I think would be wonderful. I don't listen or watch the ABC, but you would have on some days only three percent of the transmission. That's the amount of renewables that go into the system. So maybe they should put their money where their mouthage. Can only run on renewables. I'm not going to hold my press.
No, I would imagine some of these people they went to for their considered advice, may have investments in technologies, perhaps renewables, that are going to be impacted if we have a nuclear industry. So that's another thing to consider of this reporting. That is as a fair imbalance as
we expect from the ABC. Now the Financial Reviews John Ko has accused the CSIRO of not giving a fair comparison between nuclear and renewables in their latest report, which asserts wind and solar are the lowest cost new build electricity generation in Australia. They claim that it's significantly cheaper than nuclear. But the AFRs reporting says they're not comparing
apples and apples, they're comparing apples to oranges. They're underplaying the potential use of nuclear by restricting their cost calculation to just thirty years. It's something we've discussed previously on this program, and they're making all sorts of other assumptions
that tip the scales in favor of renewables. Has a CSIRO lost credibility in with this activism masquerading as unbiased as an unbiased report, because we do expect this body just to give us the facts, not to be a political player.
A CSRO has an incident and that's for science. This is an economic report. This is for other groups to do. A CSRO should focus on a big science should focus on making Australia more prosperous. Now, that report doesn't deal with the cost of putting in transmission right across prosperous farmland. It doesn't deal with destroying farmland to put in solar and wind. It doesn't deal with a permanent loss of
food production in these areas. It's also is quite misleading and deceptive because nuclear power stations do not last thirty years. They last at least sixty years and sometimes longer. And a nuclear power station is put where there is an existing grid, that is where they may well have been a cold power fired power station, so the costs are significantly lower. The second thing is they've exaggerated the longevity of wind and solar and they've given it a twenty
five year life. Now normally it's about fifteen years if you're very lucky and you've got a westerly wind and the sun is shining. So this report is sheer and absolute political propaganda. This is a CSRO attempted to carry favor with a government that's a green government. This is a CSIRO chasing funds rather than chasing the truth and big science.
For see em Plymer. Thank you so much for your time. This evening still to come a bumper edition of Lefti's Losing It and why will world leaders concerned with Biden's antics during the G seven Welcome back, and now it's time for Lefties Losing it and one of our favorite transactivists is back. Let's hear what wonderful advice Jeffrey Marsh is imparting now.
Three ways to disrespect your elders. So if you're dealing with a narcissistic parent or a bullying boss at work, you need to one play innocent. There's some sort of secret code or language they're using to try to get you to do what they want, and all you need to do is ask, what do you mean? I don't get it? Could you explain that? Be innocent? Number two, feel no guilt.
That's about all I can stomach, but I know some of you are desperate to know. The third way you can disrespect your elders.
Number three, limit contact, don't do extra, don't go above and beyond.
He really does give the worst advice. Let's just look how overjoyed old make Jeffrey is when he hears transactivists have damaged JK Rowling's reputation.
Hi you one against missus Rowling. Now, it hasn't quite happened yet, and this is conjecture and rumor, but Warner Brothers has been trying to buy the Harry Potter franchise from JK Rowling because largely because the actors refuse to do another project unless she's gone because of her transphobic comments. So, because of boycotts, because of you speaking, because of you making her views her bigotry a liability, She's starting to pay the price. Thank you so much for Karen. Thank
you so much for Karen. It is working.
The only people it's working with other lefties losing it, and sadly many of them do in habit the media. But bad news there for Jeffrey. JK Rowling is not selling the rights to Harry Potter, and she's still a self made billionaire and campaigner for women's rights, so I think she's pretty much winning at live. But what JK Rowling lacks are neo pronouns and zeno pronouns because Apparently neo pronouns aren't crazy enough. We now have pronouns that
are just sounds that humans can't even make. Confused, well, get ready to be well and truly confounded, take it away, Jeffrey.
Zeno pronouns refers to any pronoun a person has that is unspeakable, that is unworkable in the language of a person. So an example would be a zeno pronoun would be a word I can't I can't even say it right, because that's the point. They're unsayable and sort of effervescent and unknowable, kind of like a person's gender. That's why I love this one. So an example would be, you know, a zeno pronoun would contain or a set of letters that is a pronunciation that a human being can't pronounce.
It's some sound that a human being can't pronounce, or that a zeno pronoun contains an image or a concept that it's alluding to that is actually something that language has no way to express. The movement of understanding where non binary people come from can sometimes take us into very lofty, beautiful, spiritual, poetic places.
Lofty beautiful, poetic guy would have used different adjectives. I think we can all agree that Jeffrey identifies as self delighted and absurd. And talking about absurd, let's check in with the broken lefties of MSNBC.
Trump is literally crazy on stage, and I say it not in a good way, not well, not fit, not mentally capable of holding together a sentence when his prompter goes down.
Yes, they're still trying to gaslight the nation that it's Trump who is not cognitively fit, not Biden. Remember this epically demented rand from Joe Scarborough height coulture.
But I undersold him when I said he was cogent. He's far beyond cogent. In fact, I think he's better than he's ever been intellectually.
Analytically.
Start your tape right now, because I'm about to tell you the truth and f you if you can't handle the truth. This version of Biden intellectually analytically is the best Biden ever.
Oh, that is wonderful stuff. We really should get some sort of a Netflix comedy special, because that is Champagne comedy right there. Let's take a look at Biden being the best he's ever.
Been anyway, And I don't want to. I don't want to choose no worries and uh h.
Los Angeles and uh and uh uh what am I doing here?
From the U.
And the leader of the free world was in sterling form last night after a big Democrat fundraiser in LA with many A listers. They're the usual suspects, George Clooney, Julia Roberts, Barbara streisand watch here as Baraco Obama grabs Biden's arm and helps direct the confused potuse off stage. I think we found out who the puppet master is. No wonder. Many savvy pundits consider this Obama's third term
and it's been his most disastrous yet. Now watch how tolerant these Pride March attendees are when a member of their community is proud to be Jewish.
Ud you can't hit you these.
I have been a lifelong LGBTQ activist. I believe in the values.
Of protecting LGBTQ people, But they are attacking us in the middle of a Pride March.
Am I not supposed to be welcome within my.
Own LGBTQ community because I am Jewish, because I'm Israeli.
We're people of the own nationalities.
Here, all different types of LGBTQ people and we're being booed right now wa in an LGBTQ community and movement in a Pride march that is supposed to be inclusive of everybody. I have never in my life felt more excluded and it is heartbreaking.
Let's bring in the host of Prime Time with Alex Stein on Blaze TV. Alex, I'm interested on your thoughts on the Democrats fundraiser with Obama in LA featuring Hollywood A listers and Obama helping the president off stage. It's clear that the celebrities don't care about any sort of cognitive decline. The celebrity class is right behind President Biden.
Well, Rita, I believe George Cliney raised thirty million dollars for Joe Biden, and it's sad because that money will not make him any smarter, any sharper. Basically, we're living in the weekend at Bernieze at this point.
You know what I mean.
I mean, I'm not even trying to say as a joke, but when Barack Obama has a guide off set, and then what's even worse is you have like these TikTok influencers like Harry Season, who's literally defending this, saying that Joe Biden is one hundred percent cognitive and that he's functioning like a normal adult.
I mean, he's eighty years old.
The guy deserves to be on a golf course, not running for president of the United States.
Well, I'm not sure if he's even fit to be on a golf course. I'd like to see him on a couch somewhere with a warm ball of soup and just enjoying, because there are eighty year olds who are robust and are a lot more with it, both physically and mentally than President Biden appears to be his. A performance at the g seven left the leaders of several countries,
alex alarmed, bemused. The Daily Mail reports allies noticed he was losing focus and tired, He missed several dinners, he wandered off and snapped at the press at one point, and then there was his bizarre interaction with the Pope. And look here for the reactions of Argentinian leader Javier Milay and also Italy's Georgia Maloney. In Milay does a double take whilst he's watching this performance. But like you said,
you've got these TikTok influences. You've got members of the media desperate to paint the coverage of the president's increasingly unusual behavior as some sort of a fabrication rather than the sad decline of a man we've seen over decades. So we've seen the decline. It's not like we've only had him in our lives for the last four years.
Well, you know, Joe Biden calls himself a Catholic, but he's the pro choice Catholic that believes in abortion, which I think that totally goes against Catholicism one hundred percent. I mean, why wouldn't you want to protect a young child in the womb? So I mean Joe Biden as a hypocrite. Joe Biden is basically senile at this point. And like you said, there are eighty year olds that are still quick witted and still got it going on,
but Joe Biden is not that guy. I believe that he's probably hopped up on some sort of amphetamine, or he's on some sort of medication that actually, you.
Know, keeps his energy up.
But obviously he's artificially on performance enhancing drugs. And I know that might sound crazy, but there's no way that this guy would have the fortitude to travel to all these places and do all this stuff if they weren't juicing him up with I don't know what that is, but it's pretty.
Obvious that he's not on just coffee.
In my opinion, I don't know how much performance enhancement he's getting from whatever medications is on. I'm not suggesting he's on anything, but we see some very different Joe Biden's. We see him just be completely out of it, struggling to form a sentence. We see him get angry for no reason, and then sometimes he seems to be a little bit more with it and a little bit more lucid. So whatever they've got happening, I don't think it's working
one hundred percent of the time. We're also hearing reports from the G seven of Biden snubbing some world leaders, including India's Modi and the UK's at Rishi Sunak. He skipped several important get togethers. He was reportedly tied at some of the meetings he did attend. It doesn't exactly portray American strength on the world stage, doesn't alex.
No, and listen, my dad's not the President of the United States, But if I was convicted of gun chargers like Hunter Biden, my dad would probably be not very focused on the country or focused on his job. So it's not surprising that the Biden crime family is going through this. And you know what, I think the real conspiracy is read. I think they're purposely kind of putting him out there and making him look bad they can
have an excuse to run Gavin Newsom. I fully believe that, and I know the election is five months away in November, but I would not be surprised if they make him withdraw and then they just elect in some sort of weird, you know, convention, and then have Gavin Newsom be the candidate for the twenty twenty four election.
Well, he's a very savvy media performance performer, Gavin Newsom, and he is loved by the media. I think he will get such a sweet run, and he must perform. I know California is a total mess, but that doesn't seem to matter. We've seen him fail upwards to be the governor of California, and it will not surprise me if he is a presidential candidate. Maybe not this time around,
but definitely the next time. He's a real shot now We've got the polls showing Alex that there's a clear majority of Americans now who support mass deportations, including the majority of Hispanics backing this proposal, and news like this will only add to that centim And another horrific crime the rape and murder of a mum allegedly committed by an illegal immigrant. This man who crossed the border from El Salvador. He's been arrested and charged with the murder
and rape of Rachel Moren, a mother of five. His body was found near a hiking trail last year. Now there's Victor Martinez Hernandez. Illegally entered the US in February twenty twenty three, and authorities believe Moran was not his first victim. He was wanted for the murder of a young woman in El Salvador the January before he crossed into the US, and he's also attacked a nine year old girl and her mother in a home invasion the
month after he arrived. So the question has to be asked, Alex, what was he still doing in the country, What was he doing roaming free?
Reader? Enough is enough?
If I'm not going to sit here and try to play a victim, because obviously I'm not going through what that family is going through. But Lake and Riley, there's countless of other people that have been victims to illegal immigration.
And sure we want immigration.
There's fortune five hundred companies that want some of the best, brightest immigrants, people from all over the world.
We're not anti immigration, but.
We shouldn't have a two cheer justice system where literal people are leaving Venezuelan prisons and coming up to America and literally raping people.
This is disgusting.
This should be stopped, but the politicians on the left don't want to do anything about it.
And you know what, Rita I would have to call out. I'm here in Texas.
The conservative politicians are not doing enough to stop this at the border because they believe that this is what's best for their donors or their political action committee. So this is a total scam to basically rip off the American people.
They take our social services.
They're literally raping people, and nothing is going to get done about it. So that's why we're here, that's why we're so fed up, and that's why people want mass deportation. How would that work, I'm not sure. I'm sure that would be a nightmare as well. But we have to start the invasion that's going on at our southern border because we want to fund all of these wars in Ukraine.
We worry more about the border between Russia and Ukraine, but we don't even care about the border between Texas and Mexico.
And it's very frightening.
And I'm just lucky that I haven't been a victim of something like this, but sadly there's a lot of families that have. And I don't know when it's going to stop because politicians on both sides aren't doing enough to fix this problem.
Now let's end on some happier news. It's Father's Day in America, and I hope you got to celebrate it with your father. Tucker Carlson or is he.
Tucker.
When I was in Maine and I was a guest on your show, Tucker Carlson, Today, I made very good friends with your hairstylist, and I paid her a lot of money and I got a lock of your hair. So please come on. I brought a doctor. This is doctor Goldberg. He's from the DNA clinic. I don't know if you could see him. This is our DNA test right here, Tucker, So what we do? This is the hair?
Please show him the hair, Docter Goldberg. A little closer, Docter Goldberg.
So right now, Tucker, we're gonna find out once and for all if you are my father or not. So this is huge.
How do I read this? I'm not a doctor, doctor Goldberg.
So you just take out the paper and read the words that are on it.
It says, Tucker, you are not the father.
This has to be wrong, this has to be wrong.
He is my father. I know you wanted a different result. That's very sad, indeed, but happily Tucker has said he's happy to claim you regardless, and it's on.
Type and with my biological father, Tucker.
It was a great show, Tucker. He actually kind of claimed me. So I just want to say thank you. I'd be happy to claim you.
But I've dated my wife longer than you've been alive, so it would implicate me if I.
And you know, it's funny.
My dad is my best friend, so he's to hate that. I always joke.
Anyway, Sorry, have you apologized to your real father for continuously claiming on television that Tucker Carlson is your father and what did you do to celebrate I'm interested to know how you celebrate this special day.
Well, we went to a delicious restaurant with my biological father, Harold Rhett Stein. We went to Papados, which is a you know, a Creole cuisine fish restaurant.
It's really good. My dad had the trout covered in shrimp. But but I want to shout out Tucker Carlson.
He's doing a live event where he's going across the country in America doing live shows, and Tucker's been so gracious to invite me to one of those events.
He's speaking with.
Rosanne Russell Brand, a lot of thought leaders out in the world. So Tucker Carlson has been so nice and he loves what I call him, my biological stepdad.
So he's like you, Rita. You know, you guys are like my TV mom and dad, even though you're young too.
I just really appreciate all the help not only Tucker's given me, but you Rita. So for Mother's Day, I'm going to send you a gift as well, Rita, So thank you.
I'm going to hold you to that American Mother's Day and the Australian one. Plays. I want to double opera. Alex Stein, thank you so much for your tan evening by Reader. Still to come. Princess Kate is back, but Megan Markle tries to upstage her from California. Plus Jerry Seinfeld takes on an anti Israeli protester. And Here's Sydney Show. You're watching the Reader Panekey Show. And joining me now is broadcaster and commentator Diane d d Dunlevy. Fantastic to
have you with us now. It's been a momentous weekend because Princess Kate is back. She made her long awaited return to public life, appearing on the Buckingham Palace balcony for trooping the color the King's Birthday Parade with her husband, Prince William, their children. It's the first time we've seen her since Christmas as she undergoes treatment for cancer. Did I know you were thrilled to see Kate back and looking radiant? It must be said, she absolutely was.
And I think the stamina also to stay on her feet, for it must have been at least an hour or more than an hour, and I think it was really important, not just to the people, and you could see how much it meant to the people who'd lined up in the pouring rain to watch her and support her and cheer for her.
But just for the unification of the country.
It gives England something to be proud of, something to look to. And I did read some criticism about, oh, there's only a small number of them up on the balcony. Now, well, we only need a small number. We only need Kate and William, I think. And little Louis like, he's everything, isn't he?
He's my favorite? I always say, I just want to make him king already not in line, But all eyes were on obviously Princess Kate. But Louis still managed to steal the show. He did a little dance on the palace balcony.
Of f Company scottsgard.
It's more enjoying the boogie.
But Princess Charlotte didn't seem too happy with his antiques. And can you believe this, There are actual lip readers who are now giving the media an account of the exchange between the siblings. And apparently Charlotte said to Louis, you have to stop doing that. Watch the parade, and Louis said, I won't. And then Charlotte said do as you're told, and Louis responded with nope, I just I love this kid's spirit.
Oh surprised by any of this, although this is ironic, isn't it? Because he's the kind of the wild one, which is what Harry was. And I think this is why everyone's so disappointed with how the situation has ended up with Harry, because we all loved him as the youngster.
He was the most popular along with the Queen Louis.
He was the one who was breaking all the rows and being the naughty boy until he got within the clutches of the jam maker.
The jam maker, let's talk about Harry and Meghan, because they weren't there, and they've bemoan to People magazine that they weren't invited to trooping the color. And they did announce just hours before Kate's big return that their lifestyle brand is now doing dog treats and raspberry jam. I'm not sure how productive this venture is Zdre because it seems to just be jars of jam that they're sending to their famous mates who then post them on Instagram.
Is that really a sound business model? I don't think it. Here's the other big problem with it.
So there was this news that Megan had apparently invented some new, incredible new jam.
Well it turns out that it was raspberry.
Up until that point, she don't need on the strawberry.
But it gets worse.
She's only made two jars of this raspberry jam. But look, jokes are she wouldn't have given a flying about the trooping of the Color, but Harry would have because his military service was always incredibly important to him and you know, he served two tours of Afghanistan. To not be invited and to not be part of that would have really hurt him and for.
Casion, I think this is a big part of the reason it.
Was so important for her to be there from her point of view was that she's i think an honorary colonel of the Irish Guards and she wanted to be there in order to thank those people for their service.
Yeah, I didn't realize that, and there wasn't much build up. I think she announced it the day before that she was going to be there.
So as extraordinary because with anything royal, the planning happens, you know, weeks, months, if not years in advance, so they obviously were doing as much as they could to be able to fit her into that.
Day, and I think she also mentioned that she's just going to do more as she feels fit to do it. So obviously it's still the treatment is still having, as it would cancer treatment, having quite an impact on her.
I do think and I absolutely agree that she should be allowed privacy while she goes through the treatment. But I do think it would be helpful for her at some point to come out and talk about what her experience has been. We still don't know exactly what has been wrong with her, because I think that would give strength to other people who are going through I think she will.
I think maybe at the end of the once she's through this, she may open up about precisely what happened now to Sydney and a comedian Jerry Seinfeld, fired back and an anti Israeli protester who disrupted his show last night.
We have a genius leaders and gentlemen.
He saved the Middle East. He saw them.
It's the Jewish belise that we have to go.
There.
The one's doing, ye can go.
They're going to start punching you in about three seconds, So I would trying to get all of your genius out and we.
Can all learn from you.
He makes a good point there Wise his show being disrupted by these pro Palestine in anti Israeli protesters. Is it just because the Jewish are Jews not allowed to be pro Israel without having their livelihoods impacted? It seems very strange to spend presumably hundreds of dollars to buy a ticket to be there and then to do to pull.
That well, it shows their lack of power in this situation that they have to use Jerry Seinfeld in order to amplify their message that they But the thing that I found really interesting with that clip that we've seen was the reaction from the audience, and I think what that does is sum up the way people are feeling. We're not without compassion anyone who's going through a war in their homeland. We certainly feel for them, but don't bring anger and don't ruin someone's night in order to
make your point. I think people are getting very sick of protests and of people being persecuted and made to feel fear here in Australia, which is a peaceful country. Don't bring a or from somewhere else into our country. And that was an example of it. Happening at that show.
Absolutely, there was not much support for him at all. Now, an explosive new book into David and Victoria Beckham's marriage is about to hit the shelves, and it's casting doubts on the loved up couple. The image they portrayed during that Netflix documentary Beckham tom Bow will allege brand Beckham is basically a business relationship as opposed to a happy marriage with separate pr reps who wage media was occasionally
and this all came about after David's infidelity. We've heard all about that, and they stayed together, apparently DD to protect the brand. Now, I know you love the doco, you've watched it. Do you buy this interpretation of what their marriage is.
No, I don't want to hear a word against Poshen. I was just watching a nice little Instagram video he put up. He was growing some spring onions for Victoria.
You are buying the Beckham propaganda this one.
He was growing her a beautiful pink rose and she was out there with him in the garden.
Look.
My first thought when I saw this story was this was some sort of dispute between these two when they were living on separate continents. Doing their particular jobs nine years ago, and I just thought, if this is all this, Tom Bauer has got to bring up a fight that this couple had nine years ago. He got nothing. The documentary is everything.
You will not.
Damage bred ban opang on brand Beckham any worse than they did themselves with that wild wedding.
They had it with the purple and the yeah memory hold that did it on Levy. Thank you so much for your time, pleasure reader, thanks for having me. That's it from me. Up next is News Night. I'll see you at eleven tomorrow. Good night,
