Yeah, guys, Like manifesting is not this like, you know, woo woo thing that is just about wishing for something. It is a real practice that has real results and can honestly change your life. Filing Hello and welcome to the Rise and Conquer Podcast. The podcast for my girl gang who want to take control of their lives, gained the confidence to live unapologetically, and for those who are

ready for more. If you're ready to rise up and conquer your dream career, most aligned health, are positive mindset, and basically everything in between, then you have come to the right place. Today is a solo PEP talk from yours truly, and we are chatting manifesting. This is going to be like a chat about you know, if you're a beginner to manifesting or if you're someone who likes

the concept and you just want to know more. I personally absolutely love chatting about this, and I realized that I haven't actually done a solo PEP talk about it. I've done solo pep talk about various like manifesting principles, and I think it's because, you know, manifesting can kind of get this bad rap where it's this woo woo concept that you just wish for things and then you get them. And guys, that is not what manifesting is.

I'm sorry. That's a very uneducated way of looking at manifesting. And so, as you guys know, my background is, I was a lawyer. I did my law degree. You know, I'm a very structured black and white. I love you know that, I love scientific research, and I love things to have a structure, and I love things to be set out in the way where my brain can understand

it and it's like analytical. I'm very I think it's left brain where I'm more in that sort of masculine go getter like doing rather than the other side of the brain, which is more creative. But holy shit, guys, when I started introducing manifesting principles into my everyday life and my goal setting and how I achieve things, which was a good couple of years ago, now it changed my life. Like this, This is not even a dramatic statement. It absolutely changed my life because and I guess the

way I do things is quite different. And I will go through the general principles in a second of manifesting and then I think, you know, like with any concept, so you know, with what you eat and how you goal set and how you plan your day and everything in life. I do not believe there's one size that fits all. I think there's you know, there's certain blueprints and stuff that fits certain people and their you know,

personality types and that sort of thing. But I really took this concept of manifesting because it is one hundred percent a real thing, and I made it my own with my personality and how I like to do things, and that's it's very much what I teach in the Rise and Conquer Project, which is my six week self development course where I teach a group of women and we're currently in week three as I'm recording, and I

go through. It's a six week module program and I go through and I teach a group of women how I set things out and achieve things and one hundred percent and a lot of that course has manifesting principles mixed in with my own you know, how I like to do things, if that makes sense. But I am going to focus on just what manifesting is, what is the basic principles, and how you can start incorporating and feeling into it yourself if you're not currently using it.

Because yeah, guys, like, manifesting is not this like, you know, woo woo thing that is just about wishing for something. It is a real practice that has real results and can honestly change your life. Not being dramatic, all right, So let's kind of get into it. So it means creating physical experiences with your thoughts. And I realize that sentence alone, You're like, what the hell, Georgie, that sounds woo woo. That sounds a bit crazy. How can you

do that? Butt stick with me, guys, keep listening. So basically, let me get into the concept of it. So it's a law of attraction concept. There is so many amazing resources about law of traction and manifesting, like the Secret. And I've had an author on the show, Giordana Levlyn, and she wrote a book Make It Happen, which is all about manifesting, and Gabby Bernstein speaks about it a

lot a bit. Basically, the concept is your thoughts and feelings and core beliefs make up the frequency that you're putting out into the world. And then the whole concept is, you know, the frequency or vibe that you're vibrating on is what you attracted so long story short, if you are someone with low vibe and negative energy, you're going to attract negative people, negative experiences, and negative things in

your life. Whereas if you're someone who is high vibe and you've got this really positive mindset and this positive outlook, you're then going to attract you know, positive people and positive experiences and that sort of thing. So I hope

that kind of makes a bit of sense. And it's kind of like, you know, it's the idea that everything in the universe or world is constantly in motion and vibrating, and that is like we know that for fact, So it just means everything has a frequency and a vibration. So literally, you know, I'm sitting here and my AirPods beside me, the notepad, the pineapple, I just ate me

as a human, like everything has a vibration. And it's kind of like I was chatting to girlfriend the other day and like you know, how you go into a room and or there's a group of people and you're just like they are low vibe, like they're just they don't make you feel good. It just it doesn't feel good. Whereas you know there's another person where every time you see that person, you're like you come back from you know, the experiences and sorry the experience, and you're like, I'm

feeling good. I'm feeling on a high. And that is vibration, guys. So it's kind of like you know, that whole sailing saying of like your vibe attracts your tribe. That is so entirely true. So let's get into the kind of what is manifesting and what are the general principles that makes up manifesting and law of attraction. So, like I said, manifesting is the act of affecting positive or negative results into your existence through your thoughts, actions, and core beliefs.

In the Rise and Conker Project, I talk a lot about core beliefs, and actually, let's just get into it now. So like a core belief is something that you think in your head as truth, whereas it's not actually truth, it's just your belief. So for example, there's so many core beliefs I could rattle off, but let's just say you're someone who maybe you struggled at school. Maybe your peers were you know, uh, more books smarter than you,

or you just yeah, you didn't really like school. It's kind of like Tim he hated school, and so you know, like people like that, and even Tim himself can have this core belief that you know, they are dumb, but that is not actual truth. Like you've had experiences that have made you feel that way, but that is not actually truth. That is basically a story that you now carry with yourself because of, yeah, your experiences or your upbringing. So another good one of a core belief is maybe

it's a core belief about money. So maybe you had parents that weren't great with money. Maybe you know, you grew up and money was always tight, and when your parents got money, they spent it, they didn't actually do great things with it, and you really struggled. And so you have this core belief that you know, money is bad. It doesn't come along very often, and when it does, you don't know how to use it, you don't know

how to keep it. And so in your mind you have this core belief that, yeah, money is bad, it's very hard to come by. You struggle and that is your normal because of your experiences. You know. Like another sort of core belief, and this is a great core belief from me personally, is growing up like my parents are the most and like, I feel like lots of my friends have said this too, but my parents are the most like in love old couple parents I have ever met. So they live out of each other's pockets.

They are absolutely obsessed with each other, and they've always had this really beautiful relationship of you know, love and respect, and like I call my parents like they're bit of a team, Like they really work together. They spend all

their time together. And so my core belief about you know, marriage and relationships and that sort of thing is this really beautiful concept because you know, my parents mirrored that, and so I honestly believe that I, I don't want to say manifested, but I attracted Tim, who I have been with since I was seventeen, and our relationship is very beautiful and there's so much you know, respect and kindness, and he treats me so well, and I honestly think,

you know, that's because I had a core belief that that's what a relationship should be like, Like that's what a marriage should be like, and I wasn't going to accept anything less. And that's kind of getting into the concept of energetic minimums, which is a bit of a it's not a basic manifesting principle. It's something I teach in the Rise and Conker projects, so I won't get

into that. I'm sure I'd love to do a whole episode on energetic minimums because it is just it's a very cool concept, and I think you'd have some like light bulb moments. But I've realized I've just got off track here. So that is a great example of core belief So often, a big thing about core beliefs too is we don't you usually know we're carrying them. So for example, you know, my thing about my you know, my parents and a loving relationship and getting love that

way is I just thought that was normal. I thought everyone's parents, you know, were like that, every relationship is like that, which I now know isn't. But you know, growing up, when I was seventeen, when me and Tim

got together, I just thought that was normal. And so often, and a huge part of the project, the Rise and Conker project I get my students to do is to really question, you know, your core beliefs and what you believe, because what we don't realize is often we have these core beliefs that are kind of blocking us from attracting things we want and we're not even aware about aware of them. So that is just kind of a little

example of core beliefs. And then obviously you guys would know what you know, thoughts and actions and all that sort of thing is so a lot. It's it's a little bit hard because manifesting is like it's kind of on this like subconscious level with you know, our core beliefs and our negative thoughts and our negative stories. But it's something that you can constantly be working on and working towards and journaling about. And I will kind of

get into that a bit more. And so I guess you know the concept of manifesting and attracting things is you very intentionally vibrate on a level to attract your desires. And let's be honest, you know, all our you know, desires and goals and things we want, they are quite

high vibes. So whether that is you know, a super loving relationship, like that's a high vibe thing, whether that is this brand new, you know, promotion in your career that is high vibe, whether that is you know a certain amount of money, everything that we are usually attracting is a higher vibe. And so the whole concept is raising your own vibration, so you were on the frequency

I don't have any notes. I'm just like ranting. So I got a comment the other day saying that a lovely, amazing girl said that she loves my RANTI solo episodes, and I'm like, girlfriend, I think you're the only one. But anyway, okay, so how do you start manifesting? It's honestly a lot simpler than you think, and I want to kind of get into the general principle. So obviously, you know, I'm just really touching on the surface here, guys.

There is like so much you can get into. Like I said, I have a whole sit week course on this, and my course is more to do with achieving things. So it's like implementing manifesting but also in this really structured way because that's how I like to do things. Like I said, there's books, there's so much on it, but generally the first step with manifesting is you need

to get clear on what you want. So I like to I have a whole week on this in the Rise and Conko project, and I like people to really you know, I have all these prompts and these journaling tools,

but it's just it's just thinking. It's getting clear on what you want, because it's it's like the whole thing of I've probably said this a million times in lots of podcasts and you're probably sick of hearing this, but it's like the whole concept of when you want a new car and you're like your idea pops into your head and you're like, okay, I want you know, a white Mercedes, and then you start seeing that specific white Mercedes everywhere and you're like, oh my god, everyone has

this car. But that's not actually true. You've just told your brain okay, I want this, this is important, and now it is on the lookout for it. So a huge thing about manifesting is you need to tell you know, the universe, God, angels, whatever you want to call it. You need to let them know what you want if

that makes sense, and you need to get clear. So I love doing this in the way of you know, writing my ideal life down in a really detailed way, writing you know, the goal of the concept in a really detailed way, making a vision board, getting you know, pictures of you know, how I want to feel, or where I want to go or what I want to do.

And this is quite important because, like I said, we want to be clear on where we're going and why we want to get there, and we also want to be clear on the feeling attached to it, which I get into in a second. So then you generally get into the next step, which is like matching your vibe to that feeling. So, for example, let's say you do want a new car. Let's just go with the white Mercedes. I was saying before. So the whole thing is matching

your vibe to that thing or that experience. So it might be you sitting there meditating and you're like, oh my god, what would it feel like if I had just bought a new white Mercedes? What would it feel like driving it? How would I feel within myself? And so this is like it's with anything that you're trying to do. I'm just giving you an example. And so the whole point of that is, you know, attracting a

feeling to the goal that you're now clear on. And this is I think this is honestly the most important thing, because I even say this in the Rise and Conker Project is even if you're not a hundred percent clear on the goal that you're manifesting, or you know who you want to be or what your life want to look like, I'm sure you're clear on what it feels like. So like you might not be clear on, you know, the exact house you want to live in, but you might be clear that you don't want to be living

with your parents anymore. You want some independence, you want to be able to you know, I don't know, like walk to your gym and like these all these like little details. And so that's why I when I'm you know, manifesting or doing something, I get really nitty gritty in the feeling of how I would feel if I, you know, got that thing. And so guys, it can't just be like the feeling of like, oh yeah, yeah, I got a new white Mercedes. It's the feeling of like it

has to be emotive and it has to move you. Okay, so after did that? And that's like the next concept too, is really feeling into that feeling, so like how would you feel if you already had it? How would you act? How would you talk to yourself, how would you talk to others? Like literally how would your life feel if

you had already got the thing? And then in that and there's a whole process because usually when I go through this concept of you know, how would it feel if you had that thing now, is you will get these feelings of why you can't have that thing now.

So these are called limiting beliefs. And this this isn't really in the basic you know, principles of manifesting, but this is something I to my course, and I think it's really important because if we don't get down to the limiting beliefs and what's you know, sort of the reason there why you think you can't have this thing,

then you're going to block it. You're going to find ways to maybe sabotage you know, you getting money or you finding the right person, and you're really going to block the experience because deep down you don't feel good enough. And so yeah, there's this whole concept of limiting beliefs and disarming the limiting beliefs and really and a big thing for limiting beliefs. And obviously, guys, this is a super quick podcast. I'm just going skimming over the concepts,

just getting into it. But something with a limiting belief I always ask myself, like is that the ultimate truth? So for example, if I'm like I want to, you know, become president and I'm feeling into those feelings, what would it be like if I'm president? Like obviously not Obmoor, I don't want to be a president. We don't even have a president in Australia. Yeah, but you know, I'm feeling those feelings, and you know, I can't get on board with the feeling because this thing comes up of

I'm not smart enough to be president. And so you look at that limiting belief and you're like, well, is that actually true? And so I would then disarm that limiting belief and go, well, I you know, I got a good enough op to get into my law degree or you know, I you know, I might not be book smart, but I'm street smart. I know how to

you know, do this or that. Like I talk about this with Tim and I'm like, you know, you're not you know, quote unquote book smart, but he is amazing at like his brain, Oh my god, is so amazing because he is a carpenter trade by trade, sorry anything candy, Like he is your man, Like I I try and figure stuff out and I just asked him and he

knows what to do. And so that would be something of you know, like, it's not ultimately true that I'm dumb because of this, this and this, and you disarm that limiting belief and you kind of you know, have to unpack it and there's a whole process. But then the last step is really about trust and surrender because the whole thing about manifesting is like realizing that the you know, the universe, the God, angels, whoever you believe

in has this plan for you. And I always say to myself like, this is the kind of affirmation I say to myself. When I'm manifesting something and it's not going, you know, quote unquote to plan, I say to myself, it's going to be better than I could have imagined. And this is like anything in my life that I've manifested, like the house I'm living in, us moving to the beach,

all these different things. I was always quite you know, clear on what I wanted and why I wanted, and I would disarm the limiting beliefs and I go through this thing, but when I look back, nothing is exactly how I pitched it. There's always kind of you know, tweaks and different things. And I'm such a big believer that that is because you know, the universe always knows what's best for you, and you need to have this

trust and surrender that. And this is the whole thing also with core beliefs, is you need to have this trust and surrender that everything is working out for you in the best possible way. And I know that is so hard, especially if you have been dealt you know, not so good cards, or you feel like you just

can't catch a break or whatnot. But when you shift from things happen for me, not to me, you start leaning into this new core belief that you're like, it is okay if it's not working out exactly how I thought, because I have so much you know, trust and surrender, and it's going to be better than I could have imagined.

And so this is really important concept of manifesting is because when we fixate on logistics or how things are supposed to happen, we can block and we can miss inspired steps, inspired action of you know, this thing unfolding in a better way. So a great example of this is us recently, sorry me and Tim recently purchasing our holiday house, the beach Montchale, which oh my god, guys,

it's nearly finished and I'm so bloody excited. So the whole story of this is we went away before COVID to celebrate our second year wedding anniversary at this beautiful

rainforest retreat. I am someone who very much struggles with shutting off and shutting down, and you know, my brain's going a million miles an hour, and because I love so much what I do, I really struggle to have these boundaries between you know, work and resting, and you know, if I've got spare time, I'm like, I'll just jump on my computer and do my emails because I do love what I do, and I you know, I'm I'm a small business. I anytime I get I want to

be working my business. It's just how I am. And so we went away to this rainforest retreat. I did not bring my laptop. Actually I think I did, but I did not go on it. I made this like full boundary and I said to Tim, We're just going to have a full, relaxing weekend. And we were in the bath having some champagne. I think it was like on the Saturday afternoon, and I said to him, I was like, I have never felt so like kind of you know, peaceful and grounded in such a long time.

And I think it's because I work from home, and so you know, my office is always there, and I'm basically anytime in my house, like you know, my laptop's always there, my office is always there. So I really struggle to shut off because, like I said, when I do have the spare time, I will just like work on my business. And so I was explaining to Tim how amazing it has been to get out of our house,

which is my work environment. And even though I absolutely love our house and I love that it's close to the beach and I obviously enjoy it so much, it was just really lovely to have, you know, this other place where I could go and go, Okay, Georgia, we're shutting off, we're not doing things, all right, I'm getting to the point, guys, trust me. And then Tim was like, how amazing would it be if we had, you know, a holiday house. And guys, the rainforest hinter land is

me and Tim's thing. We got married in the hinter land, Like anything with greenery is so grounding to me for obvious reasons. And so he was like, Babe, what if we got, you know, a holiday house where we could come you would know that it's like no work there and you completely shut off. Anytime you're stressed, that's where you go. And then we would airbnb it out for the rest of the time, obviously, you know, so we could pay the mortgage and whatnot. And I was like,

oh my god, that's like such a cool idea. And because the Rainforest Retreat were staying and it was like this tiny little one bedroom thing, and we're like, it would be really cool to you know, build our own tiny, little one bedroom thing, and other couples could come here

and have the same experience. And so we actually, in my head when I was manifesting and planning this desire and goal, I thought we would buy a block of land, you know, for quite cheap and build this you know, really cute, little one bedroom you know, hot looking, hot looking thing that was very we can get aways and other couples being able to do the same. And so I started looking in you know, the areas where I

thought it was more. I was actually looking Sunshine close Way and then spring Book and anyway, long story short, I was the whole feeling behind this, you know, desire that I was manifesting was the having somewhere to go to zone up, to have some really sort of presence and intentions, to be able to spend this really quality time for Tim, and to be able to have something you know, for my mental health where we could go and it could feel amazing anyway, So I was really

focusing on that feeling. But I also was very clear on my vision and Tim sent me I was on real estate dot com and I was looking and we were even looking at like old houses we could renovate, but I didn't actually like that idea. And then Tim sent me this link of the Beach Monchale, the house we ended up buying, and I was like I looked at it and I was like, oh no, way, Like it's it's like, you know, three bedroom, it's too old,

it's going to cost so much to renovate. And I had all these like things about it, and I was just like no, and Tim's like, let's just go and see it, and I'm like no. And then I don't know, I had this almost like intuition feeling and I was like, oh, fine, we'll just go see it and it will just be good to you know, go somewhere on a Saturday and we'll go have a picnic. After long story short, we

obviously we went and saw the house. As soon as I saw it, as soon as I saw the view of this house, I instantly said, holy shit, like this is our house. And we did it with our house by the beach, Like we walked in it and me and Tim were both like, oh my god, this is our house. Like we had that feeling. We put an offer in it got accepted straight away, and it was the most seemly easy process to like, you know, get

this house. And that's the beautiful thing about it is it happened in a way that I didn't think it was going to happen. So, like I said, I thought we were going to buy land and then build this like small little cottage. Whereas we end up buying this property. It was in an area that I hadn't even looked at.

And so what I'm saying about the trust and surrender finally getting to the point is if you were too fixated on the how and the specific details and the logistics, we can sometimes block, you know, we can block what the universe is trying to give us, which is actually,

you know, better than we could have imagined. Like my affirmation says, So imagine if I had thought, no, we're definitely going to build and we never saw that house, like, we wouldn't be where we are today and how it has all come about and this house guy's like, oh my god, I'm so obsessed, and it just it just

worked out how it was meant to be. And it's funny because the universe works fast when you're really clear on the feeling, and like I said, I was meditating, I was sitting in the feeling of what it would feel like to be in this house, and I honestly thought this was going to happen in the next couple of years, and it happens so much quicker. Anyway, long story short, because I've just bloody rambled so much, but I just I felt really cool to chat about this

and chat about the concepts. It's honestly, it's how I live my life, and I, like I said, I really think it's life changing, and I wanted to explain it more because I think, you know, some people can be like, oh, manifesting, like you can't just wish for things and get things, and like, yeah, you can't just wish for things and get things, Like there is so much more behind it,

and there was. There's so many more concepts, And yes, you have to put in the work and you have to make inspired and aligned action, but when you know the concepts and you know how to work with this, you know, let's just call it magic. It's not magic. But when you know how to work manifesting and you know these concepts, it's just, ugh, it's bloody amazing and so that's what I teach in my six week self development course, which is called the Rise and Conker Project.

I teach you the formula of how I manifest, you know, set out goals and achieve things. And it's the same formula that I have used for everything in my life. Like when we moved here, the beatmont chalais manifesting Naked Harvest, and you know, and that's the whole thing is Like with Naked Harvest, it wasn't I had in my head

that I want to manifest a natural supplement company. Is I wanted a company that I could have, you know, the autonomy that we could build from the ground up, that I knew everything that was going on, so you know, the transparency of it all. And I wanted the lifestyle of having my own business working from home and all these different concepts. And again I'm going off on a

ran here, but you get the point. And so I think, yeah, people can sometimes kind of miss the point of manifesting and give it this bad rap where really, if you think about it, guys, like how it's just a concept of vibrating on this positive and you know, having positive thoughts and feelings about yourself and what you want and where you want to go, and this really beautiful mindset compared to a negative one. And obviously there's a bit more that goes into it, but it really has transformed

the way I think and feel and attract things. And like I said, like, I'm honestly so shocked about how quick it can all work. And that's like a big testament to when you're in alignment and when you're taking inspired action. And I think also, like just a kind of side note here, a huge part of the trust and surrender concept of manifesting and law of attraction has

been so so amazing for my anxiety. I am someone who very much lives in the future and that's why I do get it anxiety, And it has been amazing to kind of instill this, yeah, like trust and sense in where I'm going and the universe, you know, having my back and that sort of side of things. And it's like I don't get as stressed and anxious about things and I have. I won't get into it because it's kind of a long story and I feel like I've just been bloody rambling. Oh we're at thirty five minutes.

I'm sorry, guys. I try and keep this solo pep talks more like twenty minutes. But look, it's a it's a concept I love talking about and I really wanted to do this episode as a beginner episode so I can start introducing and talking more about these concepts.
