2x05: Liz Finds Out Caroline Is A Vampire

A new day in Mystic Falls means a new event, and today’s event is the Historical Society Volunteer Picnic, which is the perfect opportunity for everyone to be in the same place to cause drama. This means Elena and Stefan can put on their best performances in their fake fight and Mason can prove to Sheriff Forbes that Stefan and Damon are vampires. Unfortunately for everyone, the classic vervain in a public drink supply trick works, proving Mason right. Liz and her deputies waste no time and go straight for shooting down the Salvatore brothers and dragging them away for questioning. Luckily, Caroline and Elena intervene with Elena doing pretty much nothing and Caroline doing everything, including taking out the deputies. Liz, thankfully, is spared because she’s Damon’s bestie. While all of this goes down, Jeremy uses his wolf drawings to get Tyler to tell him everything he knows about the werewolves.
