Now, I'm going to get into a topic tonight for some of my more national listeners that is more state of Mississippi oriented, definitely more oriented into what I cover or

at least where I live. But it's relevant because again I can always caution my more national listeners when I get into these Mississippi style topics, which isn't often, but when I do go down this rabbit hole, you need to be paying attention to your own states, or your own districts or whatever, because I can promise you there is shady shenanigans like this going on in your neck of the woods too, And if you're not not paying attention, if you're not being made advised, if you're not being

made aware or helping others to be made aware of it, they'll just continue to get away with the nonsense. We have a special election coming up here in my county for our state Senate, for our state senator. It's the seat that Chris McDaniel held for his entire time in office, District forty two. But there's a catch now, because Chris McDaniel, even though we had no intent of running. He's no longer in District forty two. Neither am I. They drew

a circle around a portion of Ellisville. If you look at the map, and I'll probably include it if I can on the when I share this on social media, it looks like a little circle around portion of Ellisville, Mississippi that was done deliberately to draw Chris out of his district. This is completely absurd, considering the fact that Chris had raised no money, he had done nothing to indicate he might be willing to try to get that office back. Matter of fact, I don't think he had

any interest in it. It's one of those things that just blows your mind, except for if you know what happened, and what happened was Delbert Hoseman or terrible Lieutenant governor. He weaponized redistricting against Chris McDaniel. He weaponized the district, drew Chris out, protecting Senater Robin Robinson, who is currently in that seat, or so they were hoping, because they didn't want to see Chris run again, drew him into a Democrat district with a high BVAPP number, which is

not conducive to a Republican winning. So now people like myself for collateral damage in Delbert Hoseman's games. If you recall, Delbert Hoseman trucen er Melanie Sojourner out of her district while she was still a sitting senator and did this at a time when she could have run again, but no, he used his power to kill her political career. And now he's attempting to do the same thing to Chris McDaniel.

Some folks say, well, why not just redraw the Well, these lines are going to be in place for at least eight years now. And that's the problem. A good portion of us who have always lived in District forty two, who have always had a Republican when it was Chris McDaniel, a staunch conservative representing us, we no longer will have

that voice, will no longer have a true representative. Thearreon Jackson because the Democrats not going to put forth my ideals, the Democrats not going to push the things that I want to see pushed. They're not going to be conservative. And Robin Robinson, she sold us out. There's no other

way to describe it. I actually had a conversation with her last week and in that conversation she tried to explain it away and bring nonsensical terms, where she just kept saying that, well, the courts forced the redraw, which is accurate. The courts didn't mandate that they had to create a new district for Forrest County, didn't say anything about redrawing District forty two ever had to happen. And every little spin she tries to give is not helping herself.

Every little spin she gives is a lie. I did corner her and get her to admit on the record that she could have voted against it, but she decided not to. Her statement, as was put in an article in the Laurel Letter Call is written by my co worker Josh Guru Nichols. It says, in the legislature, I can vote for or against for legislative redistricting. We had

this session to make a decision. So either the legislature decided, which we knew what that would look like, or we could go to a court appointed group to do the mask the map. I prefer to go with what we knew was a proven map, that it met all the requirements. But again she wanted to just kind of dance around it. She never would talk about the legislative redistricting she or

the weaponized redistricting. Hoseman didn't have to do this, and I dare say, Senator Robinson, that if the courts had drawn these lines, they probably would look a lot better than what you morons and the legislature did well. And I shouldn't call the people that did this morons because they knew exactly what they were doing. It wasn't a case that they didn't understand that they were drawing a

circle around Chris McDaniel's house. It's crazy. Chris was quoted in that same article saying Jones County had a working system, efficient, local and accountable. There was no need for change. The politicians and Jackson don't care about what works. They care about what helps them. And I think that's accurate. I

think that's accurate. And it's crazy when you look at this now and you see exactly what they did and this whole lawsuit that forced them to redraw the lines this session is also Delbert Hoseman's fault, because again he wanted to play games by drawing Melanie Oganer out of her district where it hurt us more. And it's so frustrating because again, when we look at what happened and we see exactly what went on, it's obvious because again the map makes no sense unless you understand it was

deliberately done that way. These type of games should go away, I personally, because again, if the NAACP can sue, why can't I sue? I can't we the people who were jerry mandered out of our district all for political revenge, weaponized redistricting. Senator Robinson should have been voting against this. She should have been screaming. Even if it passed despite her objections, at least we could have known she was

a fighter. But instead she bought the nonsense that leadership was selling her and she voted for this redistricting plan. It's it's unconscionable, it's beyond reason. It's frustrating, and it should be criminal what the legislature did to Jones County and in particular Ellisville. There's no reason. There's no way that this little loop into Ellisville makes any sense, This little arm type bubble that they put around portions of Ellisville,

none of it makes sense. Chris McDaniel was also quoted in the article saying that I like Robin, She's a nice person, but I don't support politicians just because I like them. I support politicians who fight, who stand up for what's right, even when it's hard. It's profoundly disappointing. Robin Robinson was elected to represent the people of Jones County, but when it mattered most, she didn't stand up. And I agree with Chris on that. Look. I don't dislike

Robinson either. I don't dislike her in the slightest, but I do not believe she's a fighter. I believe she is one of those who goes to Jackson and follows the path that leadership says. I do not believe that she's somebody that can be effective for Conservatism. Plus, she's already running around trying to light her way out of this. She's facing stiff competition from a friend of ours and Don Hartness, and Don would have been somebody I would

have probably supported anyway, just because I know him. But I really now hope because I can't vote for Don because Robin drew me out of the district, or she voted for the district that had me drawn out, And all the apologies in the world's not going to make that right all, no matter what, you voted incorrectly and proved when it's a difficult fight, you'll fold. And that's not the type of leadership that I'm looking for in Jackson,

in washing to her anywhere, because we need fighters. We need people that will look at that and say no, I'm not I'm not going to let you do that, not without making a fuss and making sure everybody knows that if y'all pass this, you did it without my support. But she voted for it, and that wasn't all. She

changed up our judicial districts as well. And if you look at the new judicial districts that have been slashed up, they are creating a second judicial district which will have to have a judge that is from outside of Jones County. It's crazy that this is something that happened unless you do a little bit of snooping around the capitol and you start to get the understandings of what they were

attempting to do here. Let me explain that for a second too, because again, this is one of those things that shouldn't have happened, and Robin Robinson should have fought against it. But for decades Jones County had its own two division judicial setup, managed efficiently and effectively by a single elected Circuit Circuit Court judge. It worked and there

was no reason to change it. But then came a bill without demand from our courts, without a crisis of case loads, there was no single compelling reason from the people of Jones County. Robinson, of course, she voted to dismantle the system. Under the new law, as I said, our county was pumped in with three other counties and a new judicial district was created, one where a second

judge must reside outside of Jones County. This was done purely for politics, and if you listen to the word around the Capitol, it was done to benefit one of Robinson's fellow senators, in Dennis de bar from Greene County. It is widely believed the new arrangement clears a path for him to step into a judgeship. So, in other words, our judicial independence was traded away to Greece someone else's

political ambitions, and Senator Robinson helped make that happen. So, yeah, we're going to have things that we took for granted now snatched away from us. Long standing programs that keep fines paid, victims compensated, and low level offenders meaningly engaged. Like our community services and compliance here are now on the chopping block because of this. And we again can

thank Senator Robinson for this. There's a reason our current Circuit Clerk Judge came out dal Williamson and wrote a letter tru bashing the legislature and Senator Robinson for going down this path because again they knew what they were doing. But the second vote, it was the bigger one. Senator Robinson, of course, as I said, she voted for that new District forty two map and it sliced and diced Jones County. And it is all because somebody was afraid that Chris

McDaniel might run again. As I said before, he didn't say he would, He wasn't raising money, he hasn't been knocking on doors. But Robinson folded, we know that Chris ran against Lieutenant Governor Delbert Hoseman, so we definitely know that Delbert Hoseman doesn't like Chris, and that's why this happened. That's the truth when it comes to this legislative redistricting, weaponized redistricting. The fact that this is allowed to go on is sickening and should sicken each and every one

of the people. But if you live in District forty two, you can't excuse this vote from Senator Robinson. I don't have a voice in forty two anymore. She stole it from me when she voted yes. She stole it from me when she refused to stand and fight for the people of her district. She just gave us away to a Democrat. Gave us away to a Democrat. That was her choice. That was the time to stand and fight.

And you know what, if she had stood in fault and went down swinging and I still got drawn out of the district, at least I wouldn't be able to blame her because I'd say, well, by golly, she fought hard for us, but she didn't fight at all. She voted yes, and her rationale is idiotic. The real reason she voted yes is because leadership told her to. Something else is an excuse. Everything else is just noised that she's putting out there now to try to convince people

that she didn't have a choice. But she told me point blank she could have voted no. Here's the thing that it would have probably passed even if she voted no, but at least she could have gone on record showing us that she's willing to fight for the people of Jones County. But she didn't. In two votes, she had two opportunities to stand up and fight for the people,

and she chose not to. She chose not to, And that's that's where my frustration comes in, and that's why I felt like I needed to come on and rant about this tonight. We've had enough of people who talk a good game but then go to Jackson or Washington or wherever, and they vote like a liberal Democrat when they get there, or they do whatever leadership tells them because they don't have a fighter's backbone. They don't stand with us, they don't fight for us, they don't care

about us. There are two things that play here when it comes to Senator Robinson in this vote. It's either she was too naive to understand exactly what they were doing or she was complicit, and both are bad. Both are bad because if she's too naive to understand what they did here, then that means she couldn't have fall for us. But if she understood it and she still didn't fight for us, that's even worse. Both indicate that

you should not vote for her on Tuesday's election. Both indicate that you should check another box when it comes to Senator Robin Robinson. It doesn't matter if she's nice to you. It doesn't matter if you like her, because, like I said, I like her, I do my conversation with her. She was an extremely nice and pleasant individual. But this isn't about electing the nicest person. This is about electing the person that you know when they go to Jackson, they're going to go to war for you,

not for leadership, not for Delbert Hoseman. She might as well be a Hoseman foot soldier at this point, it's crazy. And then we get to some of the other lies I've heard taught on the campaign trail, one being that she has the most conservative voting record in the Senate, which is easy to prove that she does not. She's the middle of the pack. Maybe one of those scorecards that says Lean's conservative, but she's not a conservative in

the making of a Chris McDaniel. And she certainly doesn't have the most conservative voting record in the Mississippi State Senate, not as long as Angela Hill and Kathy Chisholm still are in office. She just doesn't. But again, it's one of those talking points that politicians know most people won't research. Other big topic that she's tried to push and that she has come out and saying that she's against she

wants to brag that she into d I practices. Meanwhile, she used to work for a company that was at the forefront of DEE. So yeah, she used to work at what was then Sanderson Farms, and Sanderson Farms was one of the ones that created a whole DEE initiative Senator's Farms Forms New Diversity and Inclusion Steering Committee back in twenty twenty one, So they were right at the forefront, and she was still working with them, probably was involved in setting it up. I don't know that for sure.

It's merely speculating. But how can I take you seriously that you're trying to end DEI practices when you were a part, a big part of a corporation that instituted them in twenty twenty one. You're telling me, in four years you just decided, no, we don't need the EI anymore. No, you're pandering. You're pandering because that's what bad politicians, especially ones who feel like their backs against the wall, do,

They pander? And that's what she's doing right now. She's pandering because she knows this is a topic that can get people excited. She knows this is a topic that she can try to utilize to maybe get people to stop talking about the redistricting boondoggles she did. But meanwhile, just a quick search and you're able to find out that where she used to work, they were pushing the DEI so hate to break it to you there, but I don't think she's really an enemy of D policies.

She's an opportunist. It's so frustrating because again, this is a race that I would go and vote in and vote against her, but she stole my voice. She and the rest of the Missipipi legislature that voted for this stole my voice. She also is bragging about ending the state income tax, but as I have pointed out repeatedly, Missippi state income tax will still be there next year, and the year after that, and the year after that.

The earliest we could possibly see the state income tax go away as ten years from now, and that's still a big if. But you know, it's not a big if. Our tax on our gasoline. That's not a big if, because that's already gone into effect. If you live in Mississippi and you're wondering why we haven't seen gas prices go down, when you're seeing reports that all prices went down, it's because they raised your gas taxes. They did it and told you that they ended the income tax, all

a part of the Hoseman's scheme. Robinson voted for it, brags about it because she wants you to know that she ended the state income tax. But next year, when you pay it, you'll see just how effectively she ended it. Guys, I hate to say it, but it's time to send her home. It's time to vote her out. And if you live in District forty two, you should strongly consider Don Hardness because Don Hardness is a veteran. Non Hardness is a conservative. He has fought alongside us in many

or pretty much all of Chris's statewide races. He was right there by her side, So I think that he would go to Jackson and fight and fight for conservative principles. I think he's a good man, and I do believe that Don Hardness could be a Great State Senator. This is going to be a race that very few people are going to show up for because it's an off year election. It's an off year election, and because of that,

we're going to see a low turnout. That's what makes this race interesting in the first place, because if people are good and mad about what happened to Jones County and these two votes that Robin Robinson made, it could

tip the scales. They didn't have long to campaign. I think it was this about a two month cycle from when the election qualifying date and now, so I don't think there was much time to focus on get ready and that definitely can help aid a challenger if he can motivate the base to go out and vote against the incumbent. So yes, next Tuesday, I strongly recommend you go. If you live in District forty two, you go vote

against Robin Robinson, to vote for Don Hartness. At least then you know you'll have somebody that, when they attempt this type of nonsense, will fight for you, not somebody that will throw you under the bus because leadership asked her to. And don't get me wrong, while Chris wasn't planning on running, this does protect Robin in her seat because I don't think she could have beaten Chris McDaniel. I don't think she would have had a shot at

beating Chris if he had been interested in running. So this whole circle around his house, it does benefit Center Robinson hundred percent. And maybe her yes vote on the judicial districts, maybe maybe that means she's going to get a better committee assignment because she showed she's willing to play ball with leadership. But I'm sorry, I don't want somebody that's playing ball with Delbert Hoseman because I know who he is, and I know that Delbert Hoseman is

a vindictive, terrible piece of trash. And I'm sorry if that sounds too harsh to some of you, but Delbert Hoseman, anyone who weaponizes the redistricting policy, the redistricting process against members of his own party needs to be kicked out of the party. But again, the Republican Party is going to stay quiet. Matter of fact, they're probably secretly behind the scenes doing everything can to help the incumbent because that's what they do. It's ridiculous, people. The insanity that

we're facing is of epic proportions. You know, and hopefully, like I said, and again, if you live outside of Mississippi, if you live outside of District forty two, you need to be paying attention to what's going on in your local government, especially when it comes to these redistricting issues, because I can assure you there are members of leadership in your state that are willing to weaponize redistricting, just like they've done here in my district, just like they've

done right here in District forty two in Mississippi. And it's something I hope we can get away from. I hope it's something we can snuff out. But it really is going to depend on those of you who can vote to get out and send Senator Robinson and the Jackson machine a message by voting for don Hartin on Tuesday, because if she goes in, then they know they can get away with this type stuff. There won't be any collateral damage for them. It's just collateral damage for us.

Before we move on off of this redistricting topic of what could be a correction, I'm seeing reports that Senator Robinson and these DEEI policies at seners and farms actually started back in twenty eleven, and there are various reports that she was very much involved in getting those things started. But now because it's popular to say no to it, she is trying to pretend that she is very much anti dee ah, but

it seems like that couldn't be true. And that's again just another reason to vote for Don Hartness Now whitching gears into more national affairs. I know some of you, my national listeners are probably here. Then go, thank goodness, enough of the Mississippi chad, right, you know, But again I warn you it's coming to you soon. So if it's not already happening, and you just hadn't realized that these type of instances, these type of political gamemanship happens

in every state, So you need to be aware. But if you listen to Morning Coffee this morning, I talked about this racially motivated beating that happened in Cincinnati, which again it should be if you're going to have hate crime laws, we should treat these people as racist they are. Well. Now there's a city council woman in Cincinnati that is under fire for comments posted on Facebook in the wake

of the brutal downtown beat down last week. Under a post from a Facebook user called lehonan a La La Jay Cannon, that's a mouthful that shows this vicious assault, an account that appears to belong to councilwoman Victoria Parks commented, they begged for that beatdown. I am grateful for the whole story. The comment links back to a Facebook account for Victoria Parks, who list her job title as a

city council member of the City of Cincinnati government. The account also says she was formerly the commissioner at Hamilton County, Ohio government and the former chief of staff to Hamilton County Commissioner Todd Porteney. That information lines up with parks biography on the City of Cincinnati's official website. The Facebook page has several posts dating back several years, most recently

relating to work experience. Parks appears to have a second Facebook page as well, which last posted on May twenty seven. A third account, last posted in twenty twenty two, also appears to belong to Parks. The comment sparked an online firestorm, with screenshots at the post being circulated widely, Folks commenting about how Cincinnati Councilwoman Victoria Parks must resign immediately. Lee defending violent criminals who vicusly beat innocent people is disgusting.

That came from Ohio's thirty ninth district state Representative Phil Polmer. There are other posters that said she's racist, others referring to it being insane to say. Parks, of course, is already announced in January that she's not seeking re election again. But if she is posting this, if this is her and she has posted it, I don't think she should

serve out her term. I think she should resign. Cincinnati Fraternal Order of Police president Ken Kober told Fox News Digital that it's unconscionable that an elected official would be celebrating violence in the city she's voted to serve. This highlights the poor political environment that police officers, residents and visitors are currently enduring. Thankfully, there's an election in November, and I urged voters to vote for change. Parks apparently

is not returned. Request for a comment and emailed to the entire city council also went unreturned. A representative for the city council declined to comment by phone, directing Fox News Digital to Parks herself. So again, nobody wants to talk about it, which makes you think that this is one hundred percent legit. I know if it was somebody had a cloned account of mine and they said something I would be screaming from to my voice that wasn't me.

Radio silent lens is probably not the best option in something like this, you know, because when the angry mob on the internet gets angry, you know, if you just ignore them, they tend to go away, right, That's how that works. Of course, it isn't. We have watched this insanity continue to play out over and over and over again. These individuals who assaulted these people, they are racist. There is no justification for what they did. I don't care,

and I said it this morning on morning coffee. It doesn't matter if they want to come out and say, well, they said racist things to us. You know what, enough is enough, walk away. You don't have to fights somebody because they said something that offends you get thicker skin. Enough of this allowing that to be an excuse, because nine times out of ten, nothing was ever said. The individuals weren't racist. See go back just a couple of months ago when Angel Reese from the WNBA claimed that

they were chanting racist things at me. But then when the league investigated, despite ESPN and them trying to hype it up like it happened even though nobody heard it. The game was televised and nobody heard it, they all acted like oh, and everybody had to apologize and release statements. But then it turns out it didn't happen. There was no evidence of it. She was race baiting and showing

her own race racism in the process. And it's time to see if you truly want to snuff out racism, if you truly want to bring an end to racism, you have to admit that both sides have it. You can't sit here and say, well, it's impossible for a minority group to be racist because they're held down by the other group. That is the dumbest thing I've ever heard,

but that's what the left argues. And then you see examples of racist behavior right the hair with this beat down in Ohio, in Cincinnati, and then you see this city councilwoman who's elected to represent the city, the entire city, not just black people. She's supposed to be representing everyone, and she assuming as her and it all starting to trend like it probably is her. She then pretends to or she gets involved and says, wait till you hear the whole There is no justification even if it had

started off as a fair fight. The fact that the man's down and they're just still stomping him is an act of savagery. These individuals should be locked up and never allowed to see daylight again for what they did. I'm sorry to be that harsh, but they don't have any regard for human life. Because when you're stomping a man's head like that, when he's already down, you've already won walk away, and when you don't, in my eyes, it looks like you're attempting to kill the man. It's

disgusting that she would try to justify it. It's disgusting that all she sees is that the criminals were black, so therefore she must side with them. It's ridiculous, but that's where we're at in society. We had the track meet deal over the summer where one of the students stabbed in another one and killed him. He was a black student, so of course, again we draw racial lines instead of looking at the evidence. Had to be the white kid's fault because they were bullying, they were picking on.

Now we're starting to see information that shows no, that didn't happen, and one of the big why are you bringing a knife to a high school track meet in the first place? Again, look at facts, look at logic, look at reason. Don't instantly go into the defense mechanism because you see their skin color matches yours. I can assure you if the shoe was on the other foot,

I would say the same thing. If it had been a white kid that had stabbed a black kid like that, and all the evidence is pointing to he wasn't bullied, then yeah, I would say he probably needs to go to jail for the rest of his life, the same as I say about that young man. It's crazy people, But that's where we're at in this country, and that's where we stand currently. Ah, we get back, We'll wrap this show up with a couple of more topics, a couple of more things, and we'll get out of here

for the weak. But it's we're living in trying times. We're living in times where where people just don't have the same sense of humanity they once did. You disagree with me on a political take and therefore we can't be friends. As matter of fact, you have to assault me. Now. Enough of that, we need to go back and find our humanity again. One of the things that I have noticed since the news broke last week of the death of wrestling in eighties icon Hulk Hogan, is the Left wants to make mourning the man complicated. I tell you, he has a complicated history, and it's just we just don't know how we're supposed to know he was a human being. Maybe he made

a mistake or to in his life. He's he's passed on, and we shouldn't just remember him based on those bad moments in his life, bad moments that were called on film, bad moments that why you might not have done the exact same thing he did. You've had bad moments that you're probably thankful that nobody was rolling video won this idea that he has to be that it has to be complicated. And again, let's go back to the race card, because it seems to be a disproportionate number of blacks

who just can't forgive that he said something. He used a racial slur in a conversation he thought was private, and that's an unforgivable sin. It shouldn't be. It shouldn't be. I'm not saying that people should just run around and say it and then ask for forgiveness. That's not what I'm saying in the slightest. What I am saying is that we can move past it, and we can move past those things. As long as you give certain words that kind of power over you, you can never move forward.

As long as you give that type of attention to those things, it's you're never going to live a full life because you're too focused on the isms of the world. So, yeah, if you want to say, rest in peace, Hulk Holgan, that doesn't make you a monster. That doesn't make you somebody who's okay with someone who was a bigot. I don't think Hulk was a bigot. Matter of fact, I've seen multiple stories from African Americans in his field who said, no, he was not. Was he an egomaniac? Of course he was.

He was playing a character that was bigger than life, and yeah, time that's probably gonna rub off on your ego a little bit. But goodness, we just continue to hammer this complicated narrative that they continue to have. So I don't know, people, rest in peace, Holkster. But before I go away too, I want to I did an entire episode on Monday mornings or was it Monday morning.

I think it was Tuesday mornings morning coffee. Whenever we got the news that Ryan Samberg, Chicago Cub's great Hall of Fame second baseman, had passed away, it was one of those gun and wrenching news. I was at dinner with friends when we saw the news, and it was it definitely broke my heart and left a mark for me. Ryan Samberg was my hero as a child. I wrote a post on social media that I'm going to read here and we'll wrap up this show and memory of

Rhino the Hero. I wrote and again, talking about the game the night that we got the word that Samberg had passed said, the night start off great, Cubs jumped out to a three to zero lead, and all seemed right. Then they lost the lead and we're down four to three, but hope was still there. Then the news broke and the game no longer seemed to matter. We had lost Ryan Samberg at sixty five. He lost his battle with prostate cancer. To us kids from the eighties, he was

more than a baseball player. He was our hero. He was Rhino the Hero. He was the reason we had become a Cubs fan. He was the reason we loved baseball. This loss hits hard. We may not have known him, but he was family. He was in our home every day during those summer months on WGN. Samberg was the guy we wanted to be. He was the original number twenty three in Chicago, and he was a good role model. He didn't have scandals, He wasn't a juicer. He was a hard working player we could all strive to be.

The game will go on, but there is sadness now. Samberg can never be replaced. He was my first sports hero. People die, but legends live forever. Rhino was a legend. Rest in peace, Ryan. I wrote that because I wanted something to remember again, a guy that he and Harry Carey came to the Cubs in the same year. By chance, they left the Cubs the same year, because while Ryan Samberg went on to retire, Harry Carey passed away that

off season, and they both helped form my childhood. I have grand memories of sam to Dunstan to Grace, vivid memories of Ryan Samberg patrol in second base and seeming like no ball could possibly get past Rhino. When we first heard of his cancer diagnosis. We all knew he was going to beat it, and he did. He did beat it, but then it came back and more aggressively. Most of us believed he was going to beat it a second time. But there were signs that this was

far more dire than we wanted to admit. Those signs included multiple former players all showing up with Ryan Samdberg jerseys, and if you listen to them talk, you could possibly believe that there was something going on we didn't know about. Samberg was a hero to a generation of us, and as I said, he's the reason we became a Cubs fan. Rest in peace, right, I know you'll forever live on in our hearts.
