Yesterday, Donald Trump and Tim Walls had a phone conversation that Trump made a shift in the way that he had referenced Walls. Again. I'm still critical of Tim Walls for reasons that I talked about on yesterday's morning coffee, but it is a good sign that Governor Walls and President Trump are having conversations about how to improve things.

Trump said that the Democrat leader requested they work together, and he said it was a very good call and that they actually seemed to be on a similar wavelength. Of course, it is one of those things that Walls really and truly needed to figure something out because his state, especially there in Minneapolis, is on the verge of implosion, and a lot of it is stemming from Walls on words calling for them to fight back and other things that just haven't really and truly helped this situation in

the slightest walls. Of course, famously, as we talked about yesterday, compared Ice agents to Nazis, which again is a favorite comparison that Democrats and liberals loved to throw out against anyone they disagree with. This helps this radicalized mob feel

imboden to spark violence. There was and I'm not calling them protesters, Let's call them what they are, because again the left was so quick on January sixth to throw out that insurrectionist term, yet they ignore true insurrectionists right there, These insurrectionists, insurrectionists who are masquerading as protesters, attacked a hotel that they believed was housing ICE agents. They vandalized the outside of it with a hammer. These are not

the actions of rational people. These are not the actions of people who are merely protesting. These agitators want violence, they're trying to spark it. And when you have a state leader that sits up there and encourages it and continues to dehumanize, decide that he's against, it's just going to pour gasoline on the open flame. So yes, it's a positive step that Donald Trump and Tim Wallas have had this conversation and that Trump was pleased with what

the conversation went. But it's going to be more telling in the coming days to see whether or not Walls housed down his rhetoric, because if he doesn't, it doesn't really matter. If he doesn't, it's just more of the same.

We're going to be continuing to keep a close eye on everything that happens there in Minnesota, because again, this is a spark and the fact that they have successfully wreak the havoc they have and have had the backing of the state government, it just gives these insurrectionists a It emboldens them. It allows them to feel like they can do and say anything they want, They can act a certain way, they can be violent. We don't want to see any loss of lice. What happened over the

weekend tragic but ultimately extremely avoidable. And I think that by seeing that this is a raging fire and walking up to it and splashing more gasoline on it, Tim Walls was only encouraging more things like this to happen. Maybe maybe this conversation yesterday will get us away from that. I don't think Tim Walls is ultimately going to get what he wants. I don't think he will get Trump to back down, although he does claim that Trump has

agreed to consider reducing federal surge in Minnesota. But I can say this, I can't see Trump reducing anything if they continue to go after agents. We need to make sure that what is going on. Say and look, your right to protest and peacefully assemble, Let's be clear, peacefully assembol That is a bedrock of our constitution and our nation. But when you devolve into the violence and the chaos like what we're trying, like what we're seeing individuals do

on these ICE protests, you're creating a volatile situation. And when you're banning local police from intervening and putting down these violent outbursts, when you're not allowing police to be a part of controlling the crowds, you're setting this up. And that's what's happened in Minneapolis, from its city government all the way up to the top. You're part of the problem. You have been, and you continue to be. Your conversation with Trump, he said it was productive, You

said it was productive. Now actually work together instead of constantly calling the Trump administration and ICE agents nazis. I hope that I'm wrong on this, but I don't know that. I buy that Tim Walls is ready to work with the Trump administration. And based on this statement about Trump considering reducing federal government presence in Minnesota, it tells me that all he heard was what he wants, and potentially this isn't going to calm down the way we're all hoping.

I hope I'm proven wrong. I hope that it does calm down, but we'll see, because again, if they don't figure out a way to quell some of these insurrectionists, it's only going to get worse, and it's going to spread to other states as well.
