How are you doing pretty good today, Chris good good, Thanks for being here, so much to talk about. It would be easy, really easy, just to transition right into Joe Biden because there's just so much low lying fruit there. It's pretty easy, and he keeps making it easier. But you know, this show's not about ease. We want to do things as best we can that others haven't, and we want to handle issues that others haven't. Joe Biden certainly is handling his own issue right now, and
he's his own worst enemy. And to me, in my mind, that's part of the establishment on both sides. The Republicans have their established order and they'll protect those people no matter their cost. Democrats have their established order and they're going to protect those people no matter the cost. We've been trying to
tell you guys about this for about twenty years. There's an establishment in politics, and both sides are guilty of it's nonsense, except now it's really come back to bind the Democrats and the butt, so to speak, because the whole world can sede him unraveling. So we may touch on that just a
bit. What I'm going to touch on something else. We've just left a few days ago, the July fourth holiday and the weekend that accompanied that holiday, and I was started thinking about the transition between July the fourth and July the fourteenth. People may not realize July the fourth, of course, is our independence Day, but July the fourteenth is the independence stay somewhere else.
I guess you'd call it independence Day. France has had a very complicated history since that time, but it was July the fourteenth that they called Bastill Day, and you might remember that they do see that as their pinnacle point of revolution in France. And it's interesting because these revolutions occurred geographically speaking far apart,
but from a time perspective, the revolutions were somewhat close. Historically speaking, the Americans have an our revolution in July seventeen seventy six, actually a bit before seventy seventy five percent when it really started. It was July the fourth when we really kicked it off, you know, with the declaration of Independence. But a few years later, roughly ten years later, the French
had theirs, and I think there's some confusion. Sometimes people think that maybe this was one and the same type of revolution, and in many ways it was borne by revolutionary thinkers, enlightened men at the time, ideas of liberty. Jefferson, for example, one of my favorite Founding fathers, adored the French and he adored the revolution in France until he saw it getting really bloodthirsty, which is what happens when a revolution isn't tethered to something, which is
the point I'm trying to get to. So bear with me. Remember two revolutions only a few years apart, but very very different styles of revolution. And it has something to do with today if you'll just think through it. Because the American Revolution was rooted in large part in religious temperance. Think about it. The Americans were very religious in the orientation the revolution took place with ideas of God being everywhere. Even in the Declaration right right, Jefferson talked
about God, Washington talked about God. All the Founding fathers invoked the name of God, asked for prayers from God. It was a God centric style of revolution. Put another way, it was pro God. Yes. Now, look I'm not here to preach. I'm here to point out history. You can argue about these things all day, about hypocrites and evil and how people are bad, and I get all that, we all have our problems, but you can't separate God from the American Revolution. In fact, it
was the natural rights theory they founded the revolution upon. And that natural rights theory, just to bore you, and not to go too deep into it, boils down to one important concept, and that is your rights come from God, not government. And if you're given those rights at birth by God, not government, they are inalienable or unalienable. They cannot be transferred away.
And those are rights worth fighting for. So natural rights theory was a big part of the American Revolution. A few years later, Jet pay attention here, we're going to transition really quickly. The French Revolution was anti God. Now do we know that? Well, there was a cornerstone of their thought process. In fact, if you go back and you read about the French Revolution, one of the first institutions they attacked was the church, the
Catholic Church. You've heard of the guillotine. You've heard of that, haven't you. Of course, a lot of good Christians lost their heads a lot of intellectuals lost their heads. A lot of people that didn't share the revolutionary further that some of these revolutionaries shared lost of their heads. It was a revolution rooted in rabid equality, but not God. It was anti God. They even there's a famous huge church in Notre Dame. You've seen it caught
fire a few years ago. I remember that this thing is a breathtakingly beautiful but at the time the revolutionaries renamed it Ground zero and they raised a little statue in there. The reason, the half naked goddess of reason, or so to speak, and that's who they're going to worship, was reason. Remember, they pushed God out of the public sphere. They pushed God out of the revolution. This is going to be a revolution based in reason and
forced equality. And there was a lot of blood. So much blood is so much revolutionary fervor that it ended up really offending Thamas Jefferson, who was very much in favor of the revolution, very much in favor of the French people. The revolution gots are bad that they didn't just stop at beheading priests and religious people and intellectuals and people that weren't revolutionary enough. They ended up beheading one of the key revolutionaries, Rospierre, the incorruptible. People thought he
was perfect revolutionary until he wasn't. That comes from the Ossian revolutionaries, always ether own. Now you're saying, Chris, what is all this about. Here's what it's about. Movements are often tethered to something, a movement tethered in natural law, where God's rights granted to people are protected when you're born equally. That's one thing. Another movement that tears down old institutions almost overnight. Who is anti God in its fervor, and who does everything in his
power to build something new out of nothing except bloodshed. That's a different style of revolution. The cornerstone of the revolution was forced equality. But how do you force equality without violence? And that's what the French showed us. So he had two different revolutions, two different times. And I can't help but experience or think, maybe we're experiencing some of this all over again in today's modern age. Think about the liberals of this age. They really are talking
a lot about revolution, aren't they they are. I mean, if it's not the streets being burnt, the funding the police, it's always this constant drum beat of how the old ways are evil and bad and the institutions had to be washed away and done away with. That says an awful lot, like their French Revolution. And on the other side of the equation, on the phone on the right, you have more of the God's centered approach to
traditional American concepts of revolution and freedom and liberty. Okay, we're parallel to each other, and that's what happens. Do you know. That's why that happens, because people never really change. The study of history can be a way to predict in many instances future activities. The reason for that is people almost never change their stripes. We may be born in a different generation, but we all have roughly the same types of ambitions and fears and things we
want to accomplish. And politicians are the worst. So we see these things unfolding once again in this modern era, and we think we're different were they will be above at all. We think somehow will avoid the bloodshed. But the thing is history tells us that people always fall it to the same traps. And that's where it gets really scary. Because right now, on one side of the equation, we're doing the best we can't to fight to maintain the old ways. And won't we say the old ways. We're not talking
about way liberals think the old ways are. We're talking about ideas based in old school liberalism. That is, free markets, free minds, right and individual dignity for every individual. We're talking about those ways, and the American experiment was the perfect experiment to maintain those components. They're talking about something different in their revolution is to turn all of that upside down. Forced equality again, how often have we seen it? How often have we seen it,
whether it's DEI, other diversity programs, or even affirmative action. When it was first passed, they were going to force outcomes, weren't they? Absolutely there were, But we know throughout history that forced outcomes really can't be achieved without violence and often even bloodshed. So once again, same peoples, in many ways, weird thought processes from so many years ago still surviving in the human DNA somehow, and here we are today. Now you say, what's
the big deal. The big deal is this, if we allow the fervor of the moments take control of what really is important, then we may lose either way. Let's talk about that. So right now, there's a big cultural occurring. Okay, I'm cool, I get it. I don't meant men in women's restrooms either. Yep, that's a big deal. Shouldn't be happening, and it gets everybody so mad, and it should. I mean,
it's crazy, right, it's insane. Nobody wants to see grown men competed against women to women's sports because we all just intuitively understand that's unfair, or we should. And it drives us all because it's all so angry, right, immigration just also angry, and everybody's men all the time. I'm going to say this now for posterity, say nobody wants to hear this, Jef. You don't want to hear it. Nobody, missroom wants to hear
it. The most important pressing thing going on right now that's going to cost the demise of this country is the inability of Washington, DC to control it. Spending all this other stuff one day is going to look like you know, Wolboro in comparison. Nobody's talking about it's because everything else is a nice distraction, exactly, That's exactly right. It makes us mad, it makes us feel vindicator to get our way. Tribalism at its best is red,
burst is blue. We've got to beat those guys no matter what at some point, and I agree with that. Lord knows, the Democrats can be out anywhere near governing authority. They're a frightening party at this stage. They are. But if we're fighting them, and in the process of fighting them, we're so angry that we lose track of what's important liberty, traditional conservative thought, things like fighting for balanced budgets. Right, yeah, because we
have. Have you noticed that nowhere in this presidential conversational now is anybody talking about balance budgets. I have unfortunate raising You and I may be two of the very few, not the only, because I think there's some other mind out there that think like this, but we may be some of the only ones that are actually saying it out loud that I want to hear more of
issues like balancing a budget and less of golf challenges. It's crazy, and we've been screaming this for years, and maybe that's why folks are tuning out. Maybe they heard Reagan talking about the dangerous of debt. Maybe they heard Tomas Shefferson talking about the dangerous of debt. That was over two hundred and forty years but there's always been an element of some party, whether it was the Anti Federalist or the Republicans, that talked about the dangers of debt and
how debt could lead to a loss of control and even monetary stability. And it's here and we're seeing all the implus of it, but no one wants to talk about it because it's not funny, it's not sexy, it's not in the news. Let's talk about some of that, and I'm going to The reason I bring this up is is because I have seen the top twenty promises in the RNC platform. They work so hard to develop a platform that nobody's gonna follow. It's we've had a platform for what seventy years, and
they've never followed it once. It seems so now the politicians have gotten the room they god and they've established a platform again that we can ignore for future sitter races. I'm going to get to that in a second. Project twenty five is part of that as well. All you fearmongers, am they're for Project twenty twenty five. Have you seen this? It's got to hold word
for fascists. It does seem that way, and again it's one of those things where I'm questioning, is this the leftist version of Q and NIN? And I'll only tease this because I know you don't want to watch we talk about the debt. Yeah, if I talk about twenty twenty five, and if I talk about Joe Biden being seen now you'll watch. And if I talk about men and women's restrooms, oh you'll watch, or an illegal member acrossing the Rio Grande, you'll watch. Dead It's boring. That's the problem.
We're taken our off the ball. So let's talk about the dead bear with me just for a second, because here's the big secret. You all don't know. You're all so tipped off about inflation. You should be. I'm ticked off. Do you know what causes inflation? Spending? Public spending that you see, they're all part of the same coin, the same thing, two sides of the same coin, and you seem to be disconnected from it. In the platform, they say they're gonna fix they're gonna fix inflation.
I saw that. Well, how are you gonna fix inflation if you can't control public spending. It's the public spending that's driving the inflation. So let's talk about it. You can get me fired up. The gute inflation. The June inflation report is here. I've got it in my hands. What did Russian Ball used to say? My nicotine stained? What do you say? Nobody remembers rushing them Ball? I remember it, and now I did. Do you know how it goes normally? Nicotine staying ads. I
think it's something to that. And though he clearly still spoke cigars cigar, it's a different Junie inflectional report is here. The inflation rate has dealt by a whopping zero point one percent. Zero point one You missed the point. Zero point one percent, not two percent. Zero point one percent. Negligible doesn't mean a whole lot. Here's what does mean something. The consumer price
Index, however, is up three percent. That's a problem. That means things are still costing more than they used to just a short while ago. Let's put that in perspective. In just the last little bit of time, the last few mints. Car insurance inflation. Car insurance is going up nineteen percent, and everybody has to tab car insurance. It's mandated by the government,
right, nineteen percent. Transportation just to travel to and fro where the risk gas rearplane is up about ten percent, hospital services up seven percent, car repair services up six percent, electricity up six percent. Everybody has to table electricity, especially here in the South, because it's hotter than Haiti's outside, so we run our air conditioners not stop. And now this year the air conditioning bill is going to be six percent higher, at least more so
than it was just a short while ago. So that's just the tip of the iceberg. The bottom line is everything is more expensive, and you said, well, by god, we've got to stop it. You can't stop it unless you eliminate the public spending. I don't think people even know what inflation is. I'm not sure we teach economics anymore. And I might be the best person to teach it, because I'm gonna have to condense it down to a level where everybody can understand. And here it is money, here's
what happens. It doesn't matter if you're a Roman caesar, you're a medieval prince, you could be a president, a prime minister. Every government in the history of mankind has always made the same mistake. They overextend their promises and they don't have enough money. I told you a minute ago, it's all runs and cycles. We're just we're doing the same things humans have done for hundreds of not thousands of years. Here's way it works. Rome goes
to war. We got to go kick somebody's tail. We're tough, we got to go to war. You gotta pay for it. So all of a sudden, public spending begins to drive up. Well, guess what. You can't seem to cover the expensive not only of the war, but the promises you've made to the Bratonian veterans and others out there. Because politicians are predictable. Who are they? There's one of two types. One time is going to use the power of government to redistribute income to everybody else, right
yep. The other type is going to use the power of government to feel important, tell you he's fighting for you, and they stab you in the back your front of everybody else. That's the two times. But they all share the same mentality. And here's the mentality. They just be loved. They want to be lied, So they're going to use public money, money they stole from you through taxation, to assuage their own inner egos insecurity, spirits, and anxieties. Here's the way it works. We take taxation.
We promise you the goodies. You like the goodies because you vote for the people they promise you the goodies. It do. We were out of money. Every government always has. They always run out of money. So it gets perplexing. Now you're a government politician. You've made these promises. People love you for the freebies. So now you've got to figure out how to pay for it. So what do you do? You raise taxes. Oh, that's bad, can't raise taxes. So what do you do? You
print more money. You see the connection there. The debt and inflation are connected. You print money to cover the shortfall. Because taxure of a new vote in this much, your expenditures are this much. How do you pay for it? You print a whole bunch of money. And when you print that money, guess what happens to the current money supply. It's louted. It's de louted. Okay. Basically, in economics, water is cheap unless you buy it in the store. Right, it's cheap because it's everywhere.
Yep. The more something is, or the more of something there is, the less expensive it is. The less of something there is, the more expensive body is. That's why diamonds are so expensive. That's why gold is so expensive. It's right, why wild can be because when there's a scarcity, goes up, goes up. If there's a bunch of it, like you can get sand from the beach free charge, isn't it? Why are is sand in my hand free of charge? Because it's every bloody wear right?
Okay. Same things happen to dollar bills, Same things happen to currencies. The more government's print of a dollar, then less the dollar in your pocket is worth But there's a double whammy, as they will say on Anchorman, whammy. Nobody gets that, Jill, there's a double whammy. The double whammy is this, Not only is there more money in circulation, true dollar's worth less. The money in circulation that starting to hit hit people's pockets,
and it drives up demand on goods and services. What do you think is gonna happen? It's gonna go wild because bullets and services become more scarce. It's public spendings causing it, you see. And we spent too much during Trump administration. It wasn't Trunp's fort necessarily, Congress did that. And we're spending too much during Biden's administration, Congress did that, But it's the expenditure of that, particularly the printing of the money, that's causing inflation.
Sore. Here's where it gets interesting. COVID. What was this six trillion dollars was printed overnight? Roughly? Yep. You didn't think that was cause inflation? You should? Did anybody take economics in high school? Anybody out there most probably did. Six trillion dollars we'd throw out there, and we think it's not going to cause an increase in the rights of goods and services.
It was as predictable as the sun rising. That's basic economics. But despite that, despite inflation being the biggest problem right now to every American's pocketbook, despite the growth of the federal government being the most dangerous thing that could be happening because you can't trust anything those people are doing. Yeah, nobody out there is seriously talking about control and spending or tearing down the size and go for the federal government. So granted, we may win the bathroom war,
I think we will. I hope we do. I hope we do. We may win, we may get like Louisiana. We may put in God, we trust in all the classrooms. But when it all comes coming down economically, and it's going to Yep, none of this other stuff's going to matter a whole lot. Do you see the problem? We are distracted. We're completely distracted. The elephant is in the room, and it's the
national debt, and it's going to destroy what's left of this country. There are still serious minded monetary people in Washington that believe we can prendice as much money as we want to print because our currency is the base currency primarily enoughing could ever be done. Every historian, every country, every republic where that's been tried leads to ruin. Here we are thirty four tree in the debt, knowing decide, and nobody's even talking about it. So if you wonder
why I'm concerned, it's that we've seem to have lost our way. You know, we can win those other battles, but still will take care of the most important battle. Why don't we have to put that with a side? Is it because Congress has no intention whatsoever of ever controlling spending? Is
that what's going on? I think that's part of it for sure. Are we allowing these drunken sailors who's drunk on their egos and drunk on the public taxpayer dollar, or we allow on those people to tear this country apart through their own selfishness. Yes we are because we won't vote them out. We won't. I've told you before, and this is this is the I hate it. I wish it was not the case. The American people, not all of them. I shouldn't say that. A large percentage of the American
people. All they want at night is to be told a good bedtime story. They want you to lay down with them and tell them it's all going to be okay, nothing to worry about, Okay, just it's gonna be fine. But when you dare to speak the truth about any matter that could be clearly cataclysmic, like the debt, like the growth of entitlements, like
the soaring produms we've got controlling expenditures. Do you realize we'll spend more just a service to death this year than we do on our entire military budget. Yep. And y'all out here fighting over eighty billion dollars to Ukraine, which is fine, you should fight about it. I don't like it either,
but you know you're talking about budget. Does Meanwhile, the politicians are destroying this country, and you're doing nothing about it because you're too busy holding your rallies and going to your meetings to actually see the danger standing right in front of you. And it's mind blowing. We tried, that's all I can tell you. We tried to tell everybody. It's extremely frustrating, Chris.
And it's funny that you get into this because I put out the latest episode of the right Side podcast and I kind of ended the show on a note of my frustration, especially when it comes to our electric because we just we think we're informed. We think we're informed, We think that we know everything about the issues, but we don't. We understand these hot but ones like
you were talking about, like the transgender issue, like the border. We understand those like money to Ukraine, but we don't understand just how bad off we are when it comes to this deficit. It's frightening when you think about it, because again, yes, we want to defeat Democrats because Democrats are heading to the cliff with their foot fully on the throat, but Republicans are headed towards that same cliff, but they just have the emergency brake pulled.
I was hoping, because you know, the top of the debt and deficits never really work, and it's not going to work now. But I was hoping by trying it into inflation, maybe somebody out there would say, ah, that's what's causing inflation. You know, it's crazy too. You know, if you look at Republican speaking points and look, I'm a diehard Republican, Yeah, Joe Biden's in danger. Liberals were a danger of those country. They got to go. But if you look at Republicans speaking points there,
they're hitting Biden, which is fine on his reckless spending. I mean, republic have controlled Congress multiple times in the last thirty five years, and they've done nothing to kurteil spending. Have they? No? No, they will have ample And now I'm not good. How about these good old boy rank and file Republicans or shooting out these press releases. Why don't they as to be honest about it? Why don't they say that both parties have been
guilty. What don't they say that, un lest we figure out a way to curb these expenses and to find ways right right to balance a budget, we're gonna have serious beckon the problems with about twenty years now, that's the other thing. Everybody thinks this is going to happen fifteen and sixteen, seventy years from now, and you think you're going to be dead by dead. I know twenty years. We're twenty years away. It's coming. It's coming.
Don't believe what I do. Some race arts you got to buy twenty years, you may have less as the accompment becomes more unstable, because do you know what happens if they can't get inflation under control, that that's going to be forced to increase interest rates even more, which is going to add me more pressing instability to the dead. It's a cycle that could do destroy the economic future of this country. If our economy isn't shatters, so too
will be our military. If it's the shotters, so too will be the world. It's all tied together. That's why it's the most pressing issue out there now. I don't have a problem with the Republican platform this year. I think it's fine. I mean, granted, I haven't seen the full one yet, because you know how it works. They have to go through this long process of voting and going through it, so we don't know the full platform yet. But the promises they've made are fine promises. I kind
of like the promises. The problem is, I don't see any I'm hoping they will actually articularly the way to get it done. And I fear the same as I believe that you do. You haven't said it yet. I fear that they will not articulate how to get it done. I'll give you some examples. Number one was seal the border and stop the migrant invasion. I agree wholeheartedly. Well, tell that to the base of your rhinos that don't seem to do anything. I have never done anything to stop the migration.
Show linsa grail. I'm talking to you. John McCain, your buddy, God rest his soul. I'm talking to you. They did everything in their power to maintain and continue to flow the legal immigration across the border because they're friends in the Chamber of Commerce and need cheap labor. Right, So what you're gonna do? You not only do you not have the Senate or sixty votes in the Senate, and you don't have the guts to to overrode
the veto process, I'll do the deveilabuder process. You're gonna have to have sixty one votes in the Senate under current Republican rules to get this done? How you gonna do it? Because you can't even hold your party together. Too many rhinos in it. Number two carry out the largest deportation operation in American history. Okay, fine, sales good. Aren't the rhinos gonna be
a problem? The same rhinos? Y'all keep electing the same rhinos. Johnald Trumps has endorsed the same rhinos that they give countless money to to make sure they keep hid reelected. A Number three to the same point we've been making. They want to end inflation and make America affordable again. I'm in I think it's a wonderful conceipl To do that, you've got to produce public spending, and they're not going They're not going to They won't have the guts,
and the rhinos are going to do it. Number four, make America the dominant energy provider in the world by far, okay, outstanding less drill. They may get that done because in the Chamber of Commerce will allow the rhinos to cross over all Now, yeah, minor issue right five, stop out source and turn the US into a manufacturer super power. I don't know, I mean sounds good. I'm not sure the Chamber is gonna like it. Rhinos, they're gonna stop you. You're not good to done large tax cuts
for workers. When's that gonna happen? We can't. Mississippi is the most concerned. Well, we're supposed to be the most conservative state in the country. We don't elect that. We can't even get rid of the income tax here. And you think you think it's modern Republican party is going to do anything to cut taxes for the working people of this country. No, how
wuch they would. I think it's an outstanding platform position. But when it comes right down to it, you don't have the votes in the Senate to even get close or the House get this done, not even close. Furthermore, if you cut taxes and you don't cut spindal, what happened? Do you raise that inflation more? How do you do? And there's a there's nothing in here about balancing the budget? No, why would there be?
I mean that's again to your point. They don't want to save the difficult stuff out loud, because if you realize that they haven't been doing their job, that they've been failing us, that they haven't truly been keeping some political or most of their basic political promises that you might not re elect them, and that's all they want. They just want to be reelected. They're not worried about saving the country. They got the cushiest Well, listen, it's
the easiest job in the history of mankind. A politician's today pretty much encompasses by getting a doughnut, getting some coffee, and sitting and listening to people talk to them until the break they are That's pretty much the job. They get paid one hundred and seventy thousand dollars a year roughly to do that. And these knit weeds can't do anything in the private sector to make a living,
and so all they can do is hold that job. Yeah, you're right, Jack, They'll do anything they have to do to keep it. If they includes line twisting, manipulating, they'll keep doing it and just world before it and voters will fall for it. I like this one. It's just defend our constitution, our Bill of rights, and our fundamental freedom, including speech, religion, and the right to keepen, bear arms. Love it, Love it rhinos. Are you really going to do this or it's
just just talking points for your next campaign? Number eight, prevent World War three, restore peace in Europe and the Middle East, and build a great iron dome missile defense shield over our entire country, all made in America. Sounds good. Um hmm. I'm gonna save comments on that because it would be easier. There was a guy years ago, back in the Medieable Agias. He was doing his best to turn lead into gold. Forget his name, and he had a whole bunch of people fool that he could turn lead
into gold. He would have been the richest guy ever. We would have a better chance to lend the gold and to deliver on number eight, number nine in the weaponization of government against the American people, I'm absolutely in I hope we can do it. But I've already keep hearing this. Republicans are trying to ride back. I've seen that, I've read the reports, and I'm not happy with that either. Number ten stop this is a this is
a repetitive one. Stop the migrant crime epidemic. I mean, I get it, but again, you look back at the writers of the party. What are they gonna do. But if you if you stop the border, wouldn't you stop that as well? So why do you need it twice? I mean it kind of seems like, well, because I tell you what, they do it twice because it polls well. So that's what. Yeah,
because what does Nicole's well? And then is something we can we digress this for a moment before I finish the rest of this, which I love these ideas. I just don't think we I think we have familiar rhinos to get it done. I love the ideas. Let me digress just for a
minute. This is for the my friends out there that like me to get these text passages on their phone and check you've probably gotten them, and it says things like special breaking message from Eli and Trump yep, will be erased in sixteen minutes, only shared with you and you know seventeen million others. It was just me and Horrold. Get that text her and donate money right
now. I want to have a talk about that, because if you get a text and they claim you're going to be part of special roundtable discussion in the White House, and if you get a text it says that Donald Trump Junior asked about you and while you're wan on a fundraising list, you're no, he didn't. You gotta know your name. I'm just digressing for a minute. I get these things all the time of the day they were going to I mean, I was literally I was gonna get a special gold commemorative
Republican Inner Circle card on my life all do with coder ring too. No, that's an extra. I couldn't listen. Here's the way it works. All I had to do is click on a link fell out. You know a bunch of information, including my credit card number. Oh, of course you gotta get the money. And I'm in the Inner Circle. What does that mean exact? Can I get like free football kit tickets down the Inner Circle? Sam School? Ontt mind? Is It's all just embarrassing that people
are falling for this. It's embarrassing people are falling for this. And I'm not blaming Trump for his people. They're they're good people. It's the operatives. Is the lyrics is a real of them. There's the lunits and there was one more well I and I just think of I think of older people when I see these, And I know there are some little old woman out there thinking, you know they you know Donald Trump Junior ask them helped me to de hev my fam is on this. I'm digressing. I shouldn't do
this. It's just the whole system is corrupt right now. And again it's not the Trump's fault that I think they're doing their best to try to clean this mess up as best they can. It's just that this is what they're up against. Here's some more things. They're gonna rebuild our cities, including Washington, d C and making them safe, clean, beautiful. Again. I love that idea, But as long as Democrats control Washington, d C, you know, not gonna rebuild it. Nope, everything they touch is
a disasteria. What you're gonna do, You're gonna you go reach down through the Democrats out office in DC and Detroit. Yeah, they're not twelve strengthening and motorized on military. I like that, making it the strongest and most powerful. I like that, But that day's economic might, which means you got to control the spending to control the inflation, so there's not an economic collouds, So it can't. I like it Thoughteen keep the US dollar as
the world's reserve currency. Not sure that's our call. Yeah, that's that's kind of gonna be dictated to us by the rest of the world. Right. Well, you know this is the one that's interesting when I love it, I love it, fight for and protect social Security and Medicare with no cuts, including no changes to their retirement age. Look, well, this is where things get really interesting from republic perspective, because social Security, in my mind, is an entitlement. You know why it is? They stole
that money from us. You know that, right, It's not like it's I mean social Security. They literally stole the money, they kept it, they spent it, and now it's this Al Gore talked about this lock box, remember the lock box those years. There is no lock box, and the money technic is gold. But they promised to repay it through IOU's government treasuries and other such instruments. Right, I'll need my money. It should
be money that you usually deservedly. I mean, they promised us if they steal it and put it in an account for us, that we're going to get it back with a little bit of interest one day, give it back. But that's not what they're going. It's it's gone. It's gone. And then they tie this in with Medicare with no cuts. And that's fine, but you do understand that there are three basic programs that are expanding so quickly that they're going to envelop the entire federal budget. Right, Social Security,
Medicare, Medicaid, Right. I mean, I realized that's good politics, but we better sure to have it a tough conversation. But how we're going to save these programs. Social Security needs to be saved for my mom's sake, for our sakes. It's our money, it's not the government's money that needs to be saved. And reforms have to be made to medicaid and some that of care. That doesn't mean you have to cut services, but you have to figure out ways to make it more affordable where people can actually
receive the services they really need. There's no talk about that in here. It also says they're going to cancel the electric vehicle mandate. Okay, good. I like that. I wonder if the rhinos go along with that. Probably not cut federal funding for any school pushing critical race theory. I like that, cut it. Here's the thing, though, This is where it's changed a bit over the years. You notice there's a nuance here, and
I support it. It says cut federal funding for any school pushing critical race theory, radical gender ideology, or other inappropriate racial, sexual, or political content on their children. That's good. It's a good idea. But it used to say cut federal spending for education. Yeah, I guess we've given it up absolutely. I mean, when is the last time you heard a politician talked about ending the Department of Education? Was he by outs about? It? Was a year? Were you about this one? Yeah? That
worked out well for me. Maybe that's why we're done real well. You know, I remember doing that back in fourteen, and I'm gonna leave this show in about ten minutes, and I remember doing that back. We still got to do it. Run ass will do that? About what I remember? I remember twenty fourteen, I actually told Ronald Reagan seriously and I made the argument that there shouldn't be a federal Department of educing. You were correct.
I stand by that to this day. We'll get this. So it was the exact same argument that Haley Barber made in this state just to a few years before. So basically I'm parroting Ronald Reagan and Haley Barber now I say it, and then Helly Barbara Uss and that editorial attacking me on it, I was using his words. It's sadly acrid and that's that. Listen, but somebody works because the little ladies out there. Crease is gonna shut down public education by himself over not No, I'm not. No, I'm
not. But you fall for this and you keep electing the same people. I had friends of mine, there were teachers at that time, called why is Chris kind of in public school? He's no, lie, that's not what he said. You do realize the Department of Education did not exist before Jimmy Carter. It's not that old of a department. It can cool wait very easily. Not now, not now. Evidently now I was, I was against school kids, I was against teachers, and I was I was
saying the same thing Hilly Barber said. And then he rests of the ventorial saying that I'm out of my mind. It just goes to show there's no principle in this business. There's no rhyme or region in this business that'll say whatever they have to say, whatever they have to say to get their power. And that's what happened. Then that's what's happening now. I like this one. It's just keep men out of women's sports. That's a good one. Maybe the Rhinos will well, I should come along on that one.
That also says to the poort pro homas radicals and make our colleges safe and patriotic. Again, Well, I'm all about deporting pro homost radicals cause I include American citizens to support them. All. That's where I kind of had a question mark, because yeah, I'm why if they're here as a foreigner in their speak, then maybe, But if it's a US citizen, then you know we had to go and gives part of protecting freedom of speech.
Didn't they talk about that earlier in the Politiphum, are you suggesting there could be a contradictionary somewhere? Listen, be I'm all about keeping pro homosut radicals out. I'm all about picking them. They got to go. But you can't deport American citizen. No. I'd realized, Look, there's somebody out there saying we can right now, and I'm trust trust me, trust me,
you you cannot secure our elections. I like that, including the same day voting, yes, vote identification, yes, paper balance yes, approach of the super yes, yes, yes, I like all of that. Maybe they can do that. I mean, we've been fighting for that for forty years. Still can't get it done. Maybe maybe it could happen, and then they unite our country by bringing that to record levels of success. I like that too. Here's a problem with that, this country can't unite.
How vague is that? Well, it's vague. It's vague, Perspley, And you're right. You make these things vague because they do appeal. I like them, they sound they sound good, incredible, but we also have to be real. We have so many rhinos on our party, then you know what frustrates me. That's what frustrates me. And the rhinos are gonna campaign on this, and the same litt old lady is gonna put a rub back into office, and they're gonna go about doing the same things they've
done for the last forty years, which is absolutely nothing. That's where we're heading. Yep. Now hopefully Trump can change that. But the peersto concern of God, one man against all of the rhinos, it's gonna be similar to what it was for it. You know, that's my concern years ago. But let's fall back to the ultra protection they've got, which is technically accurate at least it's not Joe Biden. Yeah, and I guess We keep telling ourselves that as we keep spinning down the train. But yes, we
hope Trump wins. Yes we hope he can enact these changes. But the Republican Party is presidently configured, has given me no hope whatsoever that any of this could be accomplished. So maybe Trump can do it. I hope he can. I hope he appoints people that can get this done. He has my support to do that. I just know I'm concerned about it now our sponsors. This year comes with a lot of uncertainties. Will red hot inflation
continue? Will interest rates continue to soar? How can the Fed promise a soft landing when all signs point to another serious recession If the beginning of this year has shown us one thing, inflation is not slowing down and the FED is completely incapable of fixing these issues. Use, like millions of other Americans, I found myself asking how am I going to protect myself and my family. That's why we at the Midnight Ride Network spoke to the folks at Genesis

And you know, normally, traditionally we would have done that much earlier. But you stuff that think gives me really fired up by the national debt and the platform apparently, I I like what it says. I don't I don't doubt
the words. I doubt the rhinos with good reason. I mean, Chris, I think I know you've heard me do an episode where I broke down party platforms before and pointed out, why aren't we doing this? It's right here. So the frustration is because you see something and you're like, Okay, this is good, now do it, and then they don't, and it just it drives you insane, because what's the purpose of having a platform like this, what's the purpose of having something that gets gets us excited?
Well, you and I know what the purpose is. It's because a lot of people are going to look at this and believe this is what they're going to do. Yeah, unfortunately, we know the truth. Well I have evidence of that, because that's what I did as a kid, you know. I let me tell you the transformation from being a true believer to the skepticay on today. They didn't take place over nine A thousand and one cuts, thousands of one, betrayals, thousand of one stuns in the back.
And I remember when I was a kid, you know, my dad ringing me to Reagan's attention. I guess we probably felt Reagan roughly the same time. I was just a child, and the things that he said made intuitive
sense, and it was beautiful and wonderful and well said. And I remember, you know, looking at the Republican platform and I was thinking, wow, you know, sounds just like I wouldn't want to live still based on Laard's part on the Goldwater mindset, yes, liberty and freedom and Rake and had a lot to do with that because he was a big admirer of a very Goldwater and I read it and you can almost checklist things. Bam, it looks so good. I love that. Bam, I love that,
Bam, I love that. And then I joined the party, and then I began to work for the party, knocking on doors, raising money, whatever it took, and then you take that next step to county executive memberships, and then you go to conventions and you do all the things you're supposed to do, and all the while you're thinking, man, maybe we're getting closer to realizing the dreams of the platform. And it never materialized. There was always an excuse. Always, well, it's you know, the Democrats
are doing this and it was this person's fault. There was always an excuse. We never could really fully materialize or realize the platform. And then around for office was elected, and finally I was able to get behind those closed doors. You know there are closed doors meetings, there are back room meetings. I've been in the back rooms. I know what happens, and I can tell you right now most Republican politicians have absolutely no intention whatsoever of implementing
any of those items on that platform. It's just mergs to them. It's works. They care about big business, they care about donations, they care about making money, they care about stay councils, they care about getting drunk at night, they care about everything in the world. Excel fighting for this platform because I've never Rarely, of all the individuals I've seen in this party, rarely did I in or encounter any that had the backball test to do
the things they claim they believe it. And the ones that did do that were summarily drummed out of the party either redistricted, ridiculed, ostracized. And do you know why that is fact? Solus. The rest of these news who've lied to your old life, they can't stend to be outed. And how are they outed? How are they exposed? They're exposed by others. They're colleagues that are doing the right thing. The same thing happened in Misissippi
Housis representatives. You had five or six people over there that literally did exactly what they told you they were going to do that fault for this platform, tooth and nail, and what happened ostracized, ridicule, back bitched, never got bills passed, made fun of. Same thing happened in the Senate one day. You people are gonna recognize these good old Republicans you think of your friends have no intention of fighting for your platform. I know this because I've
been there, and I want to these states. We're gonna name some names matter closer the battery's type. Well, you know, you keep waiting on the turn, and there's never a turn. And I'm going on your twenty of this now. In least, that's not counting. Although all the times this kid I was knocking on doors and going to Republican meetings, that's just
since I've been engaged the system directly and nothing except promises empty rhetoric. No, I know what the game is, and we'll expose all of them eventually. It's just a matter of time, just a matter of time. I hate to sound angry about that, but twenty years is a long time to keep pounding our heads against the wall because we're betrayed by writers in our party. I think more people should be angry about that. Chris, I don't
think you should apologize for being angry about that. I think that more folks should be. You talk about your time in office and beyond that as a kid, when you were knocking on doors. Similar story for myself. Now, maybe I didn't get started quite as young as you did when I got
involved, but I got involved. I was wide eyed. I would argue with people that were older and wiser than I was at the time, who would tell me that not the Republican Party is it is the great party that you wasn't the part acc is that it isn't the great weddy you think it is. To talk about that for a second, because the anyways, it's a great party evil it depends it. I mean, the ideas are there, and they've been there from all fie long time. Yeah, but I
can't think of any real wins we've pad. But don't get me wrong. We get these sporadic winds along the way and we say ooh, ooh, ooh, point to point two, right, but the entire government continues to slide to the left right. And the best way to measure that, and this is going to take you all off again. And the best way to measure that is to ask yourself how large it is the federal apparatums. And the best way to measure that is to ask how much does it spend?
And right now it's larger than it's ever been, spending more than it ever has. And what that equates to is that's just Republicans losing, losing, losing, losing, losing, losing, losing non stop until now there's almost nothing left. And now we're trying to reclaim it, but we have too many rhinos still in the party. Now, speaking of that, I'm getting close to wrap it up. I found the story about Greg Abbott in Texas.
You see that I have not seen this. It's not a big d I mean, turns out a hurricane hit Houston, you know, and Lord knows, we cannot stay at hurricanes here in Mississippi. We've had our experience with those things many many times, and so our prayers and then our thoughts go to the people of Houston because or anybody affected by hurricane. It's awful. It's terrible. I don't know what's worse, the wind of the rain or the no electricity in the South in July or August ride. So this
story reminded me of something politicians do. And while I'm bashing politicians, I thought I would do it with one story today. Greg Abbott turns out when the hurricane hit was on an international trade mission. Now, I don't know what that's all about. I don't I know the politicians stan junkets all the time, or international trade missions, and it's just the FICE vacation, right, I'm not saying this what he did. I have no idea. I'm
suggesting that he was out of state. Hurricane hits, and the liberals go and preserve where's the governor? What does he do? I mean, club man, the governor is an office holder in the state of Texas. They're nineteen twenty million people in the state of Texas. This is going to blow the left's mind. But he doesn't have to be there for the contingency plans
to work, not all. Do you really believe this governor is sitting in an office somewhere and he's micromanaging every chainsaw in Texas that cranks after the hurricane is Do you think you sit in an office somewhere saying we need more chainsaws on sixth Avenue. That's not what happens. You got emergency medical people in FEMA, now FEMA, God knows. We don't want to talk about FEMA right that way. But the Texas says it's on emergency management, you know,
the thing agency happening. They're going to get their job doing their Texans. Yep, this is gonna shock you too. You'd be surprised. Texans are gonna get it done. Texans are awesome people. Do you think they need a governor to come down to hover over them. Not they're gonna clear those roads. As matter of fact, they'd probably get more. Wait wait, if he did that, they're gonna they're gonna clear those roads. They're gonna rebuild those bridges. These are Texans, you don't They don't need Papa
Abbot coming down out of the sky and helping them do this. Right, And the Liberals have gone Bersouri because Abbot was out of Stoffle country, and I guess they begin now. Even Biden took advantage of it. He claimed he trying to get ahold of the Texas forties, and you know, they couldn't get a hold of them. But first of all, Biden doesn't even know that Texas is a state. That's accurate, right. He probably thought he was calling Ukraine or Georgia over there, you know, a Soviet block
country. He was calling one of those old nineties party lines. He has no idea Texas is a state of the Union. And he's gonna start to complain that. I tried to call the you know, Abbot, he didn't answer, and then I called the Lieutenant governor. He didn't answer. He called the p is it in Mexico. That's who he tried to go. He thinks Texas as part of Mexico heights, so that's what he calls. Well, the border appears to be part of Mexico, doesn't it. That's
funny. Doesn't enforce it it it's part of that country. I'm gonna I'm gonna close up with one little caveat here, a pet peete, if you will of mine. When it comes to politicians, you got to help me with this. You got to help me with this. Because these hurricanes will hit, or there'll be tornatic activity, something will happen, and then some politician will take his load for us off, put his work boots on and rush down to a location with a chainsaw for a photo ob cut a tiny
meal, this big leave and post it on Facebook. What are we doing as people when we have politicians rushing to accident scenes, when they're rushing to disaster scenes for photo ops. It goes to show how disgusting this whole thing is. Chris, I heard his story, and I think you've probably heard a similar story of a politician in our state that used to ride around with
a pair of overalls and a chainsaw and an axe in his trunk. Just in case he was ever needed to show up on that disaster scene for that photo op. He always said he wasn't really gonna till he does that, so he was always ready. It's disgusting. When I first started, I had one and I'm not going to say his name because that wouldn't be fair
because it was a private conversation. But I had one tell me one time that I should always have a pair of muddy boots in my car, and that when I go campaign to put on those money if it's a farmer, to go put on those money boots and walk up to the farmer. And that's just not who I am. No, it's disgusting. That's the game they play. So all of a sudden, here's the point I'm making. There's a there's a tornado, there's a disaster, and they run down.
They bring two bottles of water and a chainsaw and they cut a little ill. They get a photo op, like they're helping them. They leave. Please do us a favor, stay the hell away. The best thing you can do as a politician when there's a disaster is to get out of the people's way, because there are people there that really can't help right. There are people there with real chainsaws that can do real health. They're emergency management
people there that can do real health. We don't need politicians in the middle of the road taking photo ops. No. Likewise, we don't need every governor to feel like he has to micromanage every emergency management agency every time something
happens. Abbot was out of country, Texas will be okay, And Biden, nobody believes for a second that you tried to call anybody, except, like you said, maybe a nine hundred number he saw with a Medicare advertisement on TV, right, Yeah, yeah, And and yet here we are falling for these same old tricks. Democrats are just outraged that Abbot wasn't in state. Here's who came, it's it's what is another sound bite? That's it? Another sound by it And here we are called up and all this
disaster and all the sound bites and all the finger pointing. Meanwhile, the issues that really matter, no one seems to be addressing. And that was the point of all of this. When it comes right down to it, we can find them, but we seem to be committing the same mistakes that other generations have made, the same mistakes that other countries have made because we allow politicians to control our lives. We treat them as celebrities and none its
employees. We treat them like they're are leaders and not simply our representatives. And when you give a politician that kind of power over your life, he's going to abuse it every single time. And you wonder what America's is. The state will in because we place politicians on pedestals when they have no business being anywhere near a pedestal. That's the problem. Though, we're all caught up in the game of Washington. The only answer is less Washington. The
only answer is take its power away, bring it back home. The less politicians in our lives, less operatives in our lives, less busy bodies in our lives. We get there, we can be free again. You know what. And if we get there, we can even respect each other again, because willet California live its life, but conversely, it will have to let Mississippi and Alabama and Texas live hours. That's not a bad country. No, you'll work for over the two hundred years. Let's get back to
it. See what we can do to save it. Look, you may think we're crazy, and we may be. But ultimately this is about restoring American principles, the very principles have made this country break in the first place. We hope you're for that. We hope you can see through the smost screens, through all the politicians in their press releases and all their aids and all their games they play. Ultimately, this is about whether or not you're be able to take back control of your country or not. And if you
are, this is the show for you. Thank you for watching. Christma Danel's America and Jack, thank you as always, thank you.
