As we grow up in grow older in life. There are certain choices that we made in our younger days that we look back upon with regret. There's certain choices that we made that we look back upon and understand that we wouldn't make that same decision today. There are certain choices that we made that we would never ever repeat. Individuals that we decided we needed to be around support that we understand were not good for our life. These are character defining moments.
These are incidences in your life that help define who you become as an individual. Yet in politics we see far too often where the mistakes of our youth, the actions that we chose when we were a different person because we hadn't experienced life yet, are weaponized against us. Here recently, if you followed the Harrison Buckner deal, if you recall, there was a story that came out. Now, this is an allegation that so far there has been
no shred of evidence produced to say that it is true. But there was an allegation that Buckner had a homosexual affair affair with a male cheerleader while he was in college. Oh and the left, we're giddy. Oh this makes me so happy. Oh it proves he's a hypocrite. First off, we don't know if it's true. But under the assumption that it was true, does it make him a hypocrite if he walked away from that lifestyle, if he found his faith and realized that that was the wrong path for him and
he walked away from that lifestyle. Again, I'm not saying that it's true because I don't know that it is, and quite frankly, since there's not been a shred of evidence, I don't think that it is. But this is merely an example of how the left operates, and it's not just the left, because if you run against an establishment politician, then rest assured that if there's any mistake you made in your youth, that they will weaponize it against you as well. They will try to figure out a way to make
that define who you are today. They don't want us digging back in their claoset, going through their skeletons and telling you how they live their lives when they were younger, but they will be the first to try to go back and pull this through, pull this back out, and make you look bad. It's funny because you sit back and you look at things and you understand that people change. People evolve as they get older. Maybe views they once
held changed. But it's very interesting when you look at this and you understand that when it comes to politics, you're not allowed to do that. Once you made a decision in your youth, then that should haunt you for your every day's moving forward. Well, that should you, depending on who you are, because again, if you're part of the protected class, well they'll cover for it up. They'll make excuses for you if it comes out,
whatever the case. But if you're an upstart trying to run against an establishment candidate, or if you're a conservative running against a Democrat, the media will magnify whatever mistake you made and try to weaponize it against you. The hypocrite labeled that they throw out is something that they should look in the very mirror because they're being hypocrites themselves. It's not often pointed out that one of the liberal golden childs in Hillary Clinton was at one point in her life a called
water girl. That is a relic of a forgotten time in history. But I guess if you go by the liberal logic that they apply to Buckner's allegation, then she's a hypocrite despite where she stands today, we as private citizens getting ready to go and vote, we should stop to look at people's past as much and look at where they are in the present. I'm here to tell you that I am a sinner saved by the grace of God. I am an individual that made multiple mistakes in my youth. Those mistakes helped drive
me down the right path. Eventually, those mistakes helped build up my character. And yes, now that I'm older, if I had them to do again, I wouldn't make the same choices. But in many ways I'm happy that during my youth I did because they helped shape who I became. The left doesn't seem to understand that unless it's one of theirs, you're not allowed to live and learn. The second you make in idiotic comment at the age of sixteen, you must be destroyed, You must be canceled, no future
for you because you said something stupid, you did something stupid. Oh but you take somebody on their side of the equation, Well, you know, he just he was just young. It was just youth. They like to throw out hypocrisy, but they never want to look in the mirror and see exactly how it relates to them. They never want to sit down and look in the mirror and understand that they might be some of the biggest hypocrites on
the planet. People. Don't be afraid to make a mistake, and when somebody tries to use that against you to keep you from doing something, stand up for yourself. Don't back down. Understand that they probably have made a similar mistake or maybe even something far worse. So stand up for yourself. Don't back down and continue to fight because they're going to utilize your mistake. It takes from your youth in an attempt to get you to conform to their
will. Guys, this has been morning Coffee with the Right Side. I'm your host, Jack Fairchild's and we're part of the Midnight Ride Network.
