Escape to our rubber resort. So this morning's morning coffee is going to be a little different than most of your cups coffee that we typically give you. This one's going to serve more as an announcement of sorts because this week there will not be a flagship episode of
the Right Side Radio program. As you know, we are coming up on episode one hundred and fifty and as I had said on the program, Chris McDaniel wants to come on as the guest for that one hundred and fiftieth episode, which has been a trend whenever we've hit one of these milestone episodes, Chris has come on as a guest. Of course, Chris is the original host of the Right Side Radiogram back in the origins of our show on terrestrial radio. Chris and I started the show
together and it was always fun. So it does mean something to him for him to be able to come on and be a part of these milestone episodes. But the other thing is Chris is he of course is a busy attorney and this week things were a little bit too hectic for him. If you've not already watched the latest episode of Chris McDaniel's America. You can do so because Chris is you can go ahead and do so. But Chris was out this week because I had to fill in for him. It was myself and Midnight Ride
founder owner Jim's theg Elski. We were in the studio together and I am always have a great time when I do the show with Jim. It's just always fun. Jim and I seem to have a really good chemistry together when we do have to fill in for Chris. But because of Chris's schedule, we are putting off episode one fifty until next week so that way we can have Chris on the show and that's going to be a lot of fun. Of course. Announcement number two if
you have not already watched Chris McDaniels America. At the end of the episode, I announced that we are for the nineteenth year doing the Merry Christmas Turkey giveaway. Chris is once again purchasing turkeys to give out. The rules are simple. You show up, you say Merry Christmas, you get a turkey. For my national listeners, this is a big deal for my local listeners. Of course, it will once again be at West Ellisville Baptist Church, December the twenty. First,
we'll start giving out the turkeys at eleven am. But if you want to volunteer, just get in touch with me and I will gladly give you a time to arrive because again eleven Ams one we'll start handing them out. But for volunteers, I'll need you thout the day. So if you're interested in volunteering, please just go ahead and reach out and we'll get you involved. So again it's a busy, busy time now. Of course, the next question
is what's going to happen during the Christmas break? Well, the Christmas break for the right side is there's a possibility, and this is undecided by me yet, that I will take a break from the morning coffees for the couple of weeks for Christmas, you know, taking a break starting the week of Christmas and then returning on the second
is what I'm thinking about. I don't know for sure if that's going to be what I do, because I just haven't decided yet, but I'm leaning towards that, you know, because again I do believe, and I don't think this is someone toting their own horn. I believe I'm the most consistent voice as part of the Midnight Ride Network. Haven't missed an episode that we have broadcasted of Chris
McDaniels America. I put out the weekly Right Side radio program, and then I put out these morning coffees four to five days a week, so I'm constantly in front of a microphone. I do these even when I'm sick, as you saw the week of Thanksgiving when my voice was less than stellar. So I'm thinking about taking a break
from that. But with that said, no matter what I decide to do at Christmas, there will still be flagship episodes because I do plan on putting together my Christmas themed episode that I have done even dating back to the terrestrial radio days when it was a musical show. Now it's more a little bit more laid back. We have more than just that. We'll have clips. We'll have whether it's movie clips from Christmas movies or whether or not it's a clip from different Christmas speeches or things.
The Paul Harvey if I Was the Devil clip is something I've played every year since I brought back the Right Side as a podcast, and it will most likely be featured once again as part of that Christmas episode, along with some other things. Haven't quite decided what all I'm going to put together on the Christmas episode, but it will be released so you can check out The Right Side have a very Right Side Christmas once again
this year. As far as the New Year's episode, I will have something that I don't know if it will be a live episode that week or whether or not it will be something like the Christmas episode that I'll be piecing together the other And this part is a part that frustrates me a little bit. Most of you know I love recording the Flagship episodes as a live episode. Well, Spreaker is doing away with the live feature, so coming really soon, I will no longer be able to broadcast
the podcast live on Spreaker. It'll still be hosted by Spreaker. It's still gonna be coming up, but if you're one of the live listeners, Spreaker is doing away with that feature. I have complained, I've told them I don't like that, but they are doing away with that feature, so that's gonna go away. I have had some conversations with Jim. There is a possibility that at some point in the New Year, The Right Side might start publishing a video
for the Flagship episodes. It is possible that The Right Side Radio Show will become a video podcast similar to Chris McDaniels and Erica, although that is and as Jim said, that's that's basically my call, so playing it by a year right now, but the fact that I'm no longer going to be able to record the audio version and broadcast it live on spreaker, that does become a little bit more appealing to me because I can still channel
my live video roots here. So those are the things that I wanted to come out and you know, kind of talk to my listeners this morning on morning Coffee and just give you those quick updates. One more update, of course, is those of you who have checked out my license reviewed James Bond podcast, you'll know I haven't put out an episode since March. Unfortunately, due to all the commitments of the Midnight Ride and everything else that I've been doing, I just hadn't had time to do one.
My hope is to record something during the Christmas break and put out a new episode. It will be the From Russia with Love review, because I again this show is that show is something I do for my own enjoyment, so I'm hoping to get it restarted. It is difficult because you have to sit down and watch the movie and take notes and then be able to record afterwards.
The fact that I have some time off from work during the Christmas break is the reason why I think I might be able to put out a new episode. But if you notice, I'm not making a promise, I'm just saying I might be able to. But anyway, folks, I just wanted to make these announcements for this Thursday Morning Cup of Coffee because this has been Morning Coffee with the Right Side and I am your host, Jacques Fairchild's and where a part of the Midnight Ride Network.
