Today we return to work after a day off for Memorial Day. Hopefully you took time to honor those that made the ultimate sacrifice. Hopefully you took time to honor those we have lost that have served in our military, those that made the choice to protect your liberties so you don't have to. Hopefully you

took those moments. And now today, as we get ready to go back to work and we start to get rap back up in our everyday lives, we need to also remember that there are certain things in our lives that, no matter how important they may seem, they aren't as important as taking the time to try to understand your surroundings, to try to understand exactly what's going on in your state politics, in your city and county politics, in national

politics. This is a presidential election year, make no mistake about it. People are paying more attention than they normally do, but most of them are so focused on the presidential race that they haven't bothered to look and see how their state senator is voting. They haven't bothered to go see how their supervisors are voting. They haven't bothered to look at how they're US senator or their congressman is voting. These are problems. We want to sit back and complain

about the state of our country. We want to go and point to a president and say that that is the person that caused all this. And make no mistake, especially when it comes to Joe Biden. He has a lion's share of the blame, but there's a lot of blame to be passed around as well. And you can look a lot of times a Congress for a

lot of that blame. Now, before you sit there and say to yourself, oh, well, I'm good because my senator, my congressman is a Republican, so I have nothing to worry about, be careful with that because you need to go check their voting records. You need to go check and make sure that they are voting the way that you would like for them to, because I got news for you. There probably aren't. They're probably voting with whatever the party leadership tells them to do, and nine times out its

end, it is some hybrid compromise with Democrats. They're not up there putting on a red shirt and fighting against the blue team. That is a myth. That is a lie that they have put out there to try to make you feel desperate in your need to always vote for them. If it was merely a red team versus a blue team, then why do they fight harder against any fellow Republican that dares to step up and challenge them for their seat?

Why is it they fight harder against people from their own party than they ever do in the halls of Congress against the Democrats, the people that they tell you you must elect them so they can fight against them on your behalf. You would be shocked to go down and look at the way that they conduct themselves, because I can promise you this, they are not voting the way that you think they are. They are not voting in a manner that

you think that they are. It's frustrating, for sure, because everybody has busy schedules, everybody has a lot going on. But it takes just a little effort to go and look up voting records. It takes just a little effort to go and do a little bit of research to make sure that the politicians that we're electing, that the people that we're putting in office are going up there and doing the things they promised us that they would do. Again,

it's not happening. The way that you are being told it is, and a lot of that is your fault because you're not taking the time to research it. You get a mailer in the mail that tells you that the challenger candidate is a bad guy, So you go and vote for the guy that you've always voted for without checking to see if he's upheld his end of the bargain. Because that mailer told you what an evil scoundrel the other person was. You gotta stop doing that. You gotta do research. Can't just

trust what the incumbent tells you about his opponent. And then when it gets to the general election, you see that he's not really putting up the same fight because he has a huge lead over the Democrat. That tells you all you need to know about that individual. Look, establishment politicians are the worst kind. Doesn't matter if they're a Republican or a Democrat. The establishment is the problem. That's one thing you won't find on any of my shows.

You will not find any establishment candidates invited to participate here because I understand the danger they have created. I understand that they are a huge problem, and it's a problem that's not going away anytime soon. It's a problem that we'll continue because we get so tied up and wrapped up in our everyday lives that

we can't take the time to do that research. We really didn't want to take the time on Memorial Day to honor the fallen, So of course we're not going to take the time to do any bit of research on our congress our congress men, We're not going to take the time to do any research

on our senators. We're going to put all our hopes and dreams in one race, that's the presidential race every four years, and then, no matter who wins the presidential race, when things still don't really improve, we'll be scratching our head asking why, guys, this is morning Coffee with the Right Side. I'm your host, Jack Fairchild's and we're a part of the Midnight Ride Network.
