Episode description

Joe Biden laid a huge egg last Thursday night during the debate. What is the next play for the Democrats? Does he stay or go?

Transcript

The full fledged panic mode that Democrats have been ever since. Joe Biden's poor performance during Thursday Night's first presidential debate is something that is amazing. At the moment, Democrats know that that wasn't just a bad performance, that was a catastrophic performance. It was a performance that put them further behind the eight ball. They have tried everything they can, political prosecutions, whatever it could be,

to try to sink Donald Trump during this presidential election. And then they thought that the best thing that they could do, the best weapon that they had, was to put Joe Biden on live television in a compare and contrast against Donald Trump, and that that was going to somehow work out any way different than it did. Most of us knew that Joe Biden was already slipping, but I think what we saw on Thursday night even shocked several of us.

Throughout the day, I was getting asked from several people what I thought that night's debate was going to be. Like I predicted, Joe Biden was going to perform better than expected. Never, in my wildest dreams did I think he was going to do worse than anybody expected, Although we should have seen it We've seen the telltale signs, We've seen the warnings just how much Joe Biden has slipped. And I'm not talking about his horrific policy that has

led to record inflation. I'm not talking about his horrific policies that has led to people struggling to get by from day to day. I'm talking about the mental capacities. It's almost as if demic grants have been in full denial about how poorly Joe Biden's age is affecting him. Look, I'm not one who wants to jump on and poule on somebody that is reaching those advanced stages of

their life. But there's a problem here when you have someone reached those stages that is the leader of the greatest country in the world, and we're gonna put it on worldwide television for the world to see. It was an embarrassment. Rest assured that the Democrats now their full panic mode is not because they feel like they embarrass themselves in the rest of the world. Oh no, no, no, Their panic mode is strictly in how can we maintain possession

of the White House? If they thought that sleepy Joe could some have now get through the election and still win. They don't care about the fact that we saw how terrible he was. They don't care about his performance issues. All they care about is maintaining power. So now you're starting to see his shift. Now you're starting to see people try to move Joe Biden out of the equation. You're starting to see people try to push Joe Biden out of

the race. There are several people that they are floating as possible replacements for Joe Biden. The most common mentioned name, of course, is California Governor Gavin Newsom. Gavin Newsom being young, he has charisma in a debate, he would be formiable. The problem with Gavin Newsom is in his home state, you see example after example after example of felled policy. So is he truly the best option for the Democrats? What about the vice president? What

about Kamala Harris? As we've seen, we've seen them step up her appearances, We've seen them step up and try to push her further to the limelight. Maybe she's the person they're going to try to push into Joe Biden's spot. Be interesting, is an interesting gamble for sure, because I don't think that Kamala Harris is popular enough. I don't think that she has the intelligence enough based on what we've seen and seen the way that she carries herself.

But the difference is she might be coachable, so that way she can at least be presentable when you put her on a stage against Donald Trump. I'm not sure. And of course then they've got the female card that they can play that she's a woman and we need a strong woman. She's got the minority card, so you can push the fact that we need a black person in the office. The narratives are already there, so I could definitely see them going down that route. But Joe Biden's not going to want to just

step away. If you saw anything after the debate and you saw how much his wife tried to prop him up, I don't think she wants to let go of that power either. I think she enjoys being the first Lady, despite the fact that she is subjecting her husband to elderly abuse. It's sad, people, It's really sad that in this day and age of American politics, that this is the best the Democrats put forward. If they hadn't been in denial, if they hadn't been delusional, they should have already come up

with a exit strategy before we got past the primary stage. But they didn't want a primary, and they thought their political prosecutions against Donald Trump were going to be enough to push Donald Trump out of the primaries, that Donald Trump would no way, shape or form be able to win the Republican nomination. But he did, and now Donald Trump wiped the floor with him on Thursday night. This wasn't a close debate. This isn't even a subjective debate.

Anybody that tells you that Joe Biden won that debate is kidding themselves or they're so wrapped up in that Democrat blue that they can't see the truth. And the truth is we have a guy in the White House that has been merely a puppet for the last four years, and now you saw that on full display. The warnings were there, and if you paid attention, yes, he delivered a great State of the Union, they said, even though if you go look at the past State of the Unions, they were pretty much

the same speech, just flipped around and maybe worked a little differently. So he was able to memorize that. Plus it's a lot easier to memorize a speech than it is to go out there and answer questions that you clearly have not seen in evance. This is where we are in America, where Joe Biden is our president and he's lost. It's sad in many levels. And yes, it's okay to feel bad for Joe Biden despite the fact that she

don't agree with him on any policy issue. I think Donald Trump said it best hearing the debate at one point when he said, I don't even know if he knows what he just said. It's crazy people. It's going to be very interesting these next few months to see what the Democrats come up with. Will they ride Joe Biden to the end or will they figure out some

type of exit strategy to get past his performance issues. This has been Morning Coffee with the Right Side and I'm your host, Jack Fairchild's and we're a part of the Midnight Ride Network.
