It appears that the radical Iranian government is on the verge of collapse. It seems like that this is going to happen as we see protests all over Ran continuing to grow. There are folks in that country that are tired of the government. We have seen videos online showing large demonstrations across Iran with thousands taking to the streets.
Protesters are upset over the country's worsening economic conditions. So we will continue to monitor what is going on here as we continue to see this radical regime possibly here on this last days. This is could be good news, but at the same time, we also understand that the Iranian government is a top ally of Russia, and with them being a top ally of Russia, that tells you that there is a possibility of Russia getting involved to try to prevent this regime from being overthrown, But it
looks like we're getting closer and closer to that. There reports out there saying that it's going to happen. Iran has been a problem for years, for decades. The hope is that a revolution can happen and happen quickly, and that the people of that country can then rebuild with their own minds, with their own ideas of what their government can be. I don't want to see us involvement. I really hope that Russia stays out and lets whatever's going to play out play out. There are government buildings
being burned at the moment. There are so many things that are happening at this moment. It's really going to get interesting. If this goes the way that it looks like is going, and it appears it's not a question of if, but a question of when the government there in Iran is overthrown. That's where the questions come in. If Russia jumps in, what happens because this be the spark that starts a World War III. There's always concerns, and it seems like it always comes out of that
volatile Middle East region. The hope is as I said that we would get a government that is not against its people, that is governed by the people and handled by the people, and not this regime that only had their own interest at heart, and that's what we've seen for years, for decades out of Iran. We'll be keeping a close eye on this because again, this is going to be a major story. If something happens over the weekend, the right side might come back on and do a
breaking news report as we see more. As I'm recording this, by the time you're listening to it, we may already have seen the Iranian government fall. It's fascinating to watch people. It's a region that has been its people have been abused by radical leaders for so long. Maybe maybe they're rising up and are going to take action and take
back their country. We're praying for you, hoping things work out in a way that that nation can stop being governed by radicals, stop being an enemy to non Muslim nations. It'll be interesting to see what happens as we move
forward in the coming days. Before I wrap up this morning's morning coffee, I did also want to mention last night's national semi final game, which featured the all miss Rebels, a team from right here in my home state of Mississippi, and unfortunately for the Rebels, that didn't go their way.
They battled hard, they battled to the bitter end. Miami scored with eighteen seconds left and you would think that that would mean no shot for the Rebels, but in two plays they got the ball down to where they had a realistic shot at one last play being converted. But unfortunately for the Rebels it did not go their way. The pass from their phenomenal quarterback Trinidad Chamberliss was not called.
Some are saying there should have been a Passenger of Farance call, but at the end of the day, we should be focused on the heart and the fact that that team had a never quit mentality. Would have been special to see them in a national championship game, but it wasn't meant to be. Wasn't meant to be, unfortunately, And for my friends that are Rebels fans, I understand your hurt. I understand your pain. I'm a Cubs fan.
But the good news is, you guys did something truly special this year and maybe maybe that's something you can build on, especially if you get the bulk of these players coming back next year, and if that quarterback gets granted an extra year of eligibility or miss, could be right back in contention, right back in the thick of things next year. Hold your head high, because that was a heck of a game, a heck offormance, and the
entire state's proud of what you guys accomplished. We just wish you could have gotten that victory last night and one more victory after that, but alas is not to be, But maybe next year.
