AMEC represents over 500 members and companies around Australia who are explorers, emerging, miners producers, and a wide range of businesses working in and for the resource sector.

They provide industry advocacy for all the levels of government.
They deliver value and benefits to their members, and build community support through the industry.

Warren speaks on behalf of the industry and behalf of his members, in what has been one of the most challenging times for the resource sector, and obviously companies that belong to that.

We discuss;

  • the conversations that are being had at executive level when it comes to companies based around sexual harassment, assault, and abuse, the ‘Enough is Enough’ report,
  • the recommendations and what part these companies have to play and the things that they're doing.
  • What has been implemented already,
  • What are in the process of being implemented and some of the issues that they're finding on some of the recommendations like the register.
  • how the industry as a whole are feeling about what has taken place and what has been taking place for so many years and decades,
  • and how things are changing.
  • how companies are working together if they find something that does work,
  • sharing that within the industry and within the wider community.
  • What has been put in place to make sure that sexual harassment, assault and things that are happening on site are victim centric to support when victims are coming forward.
