You're Not An Appraiser!

In this episode, Blaine Feyen talks about the variety of masks and hats we wear throughout our lives based on the different roles we may be playing at that time. Mother, Father, Sister, Brother, Mechanic, Truck Driver, Banker, and Appraiser. They are all things we call ourselves and ultimately our identity becomes part of those things we call ourselves. 

When we start to identify more with what we do and less with who we are, problems start. We treat others based on who we think we are and we judge them based on what it is they do and less on who they are as human beings.

Regardless of what it is you do for a living, you are not that thing! That is just something you do for a period of time to earn money. You are not appraisers, that is just something you have chosen to do with some portion of your limited time as a human. Figure out who you really are and life tends to flow much easier.
