Staying Above The API

In this episode, Blaine explains what an API (application programming interface) is and how APIs are everywhere. He introduces an idea of two worlds where half the world lives below the API, meaning their decisions are dictated for them by the software, and half the world living above the API, those who write the code, ask questions, think critically, are creative, make their own decisions, and are not dictated to by the software.
