Although this system has been popularized as of late by the author and entrepreneur, Mike Michalowitz, in the book aptly named, Profit First, this system of money management and budgeting has been around for thousands of years. Blaine introduces listeners to another book called The Richest Man In Babylon, which talks about this principle in parable form as well.
