In April, Congresswoman McCollum called for the protection of Palestinian children and families living under Israel’s military control. Last year she introduced a bill that would prevent America from recognizing the West Bank as a part of Israel if Israel annexed the militarily occupied territories. McCollum comes from the American heartland and is a strong critic of Israeli human rights abuses against Palestinians
