In Segment 1, we will speak with Bell City, California Council member Ali Saleh who will talk about Arab American empowerment and the growth of the Arab community in California and how Arab Americans view various issues like climate change, migrants, politics and have they faced racism. He'll also give us a description of the Arab community in that part of California

In Segment 2, we will speak with Samir Khalil, the founder of the Arab American Democratic Club (AADC) which is celebrating it's 40th anniversary as the leading political organization in Illinois. The group was founded in the aftermath of the election of Chicago's first Black Mayor Harold Washington, who helped strengthen Arab American community empowerment
