Our guests are Abdulrauf Khan the COO of the Islamic Center of North America (ICNA-Relief), and ICNA's assistant director of Disaster Relief Services Mohamed Dahsheh.

A Muslim and Arab group, ICNA-Relief works with FEMA, the Red Cross and others to provide emergency relief around the country to people of all religions. 

Khan and Dahsheh discuss the work that ICNA does in the United States to help communities that find themselves in emergency disaster situations.

ICNA was founded on Sept. 10, 1968

More than 5.2 million people served in the US by ICNA, serving Americans of 70 different nationalities and heritage.

ICNA also manages:

  • 26 Women shelters
  • 58 Food pantries
  • 8 free clinics
  • 27 refugee resource centers

ICNA responds to emergency situations, all domestic services in 42 U.S. states
