Episode description

Dr. Geri Gillespy is the headmaster of schools at Innovate Academy in Eagle. After having worked in education for decades, she is acutely aware of the struggle with kids over summer. Compound the natural tendency to not have structured activities with the push to dump tech on kids, and you have a disaster. Dr. Gillespy came in to speak on several things you can do to not just engage your kids, but also help them continue developing. Enjoy!

The Ranch Podcast is the premier source for long format interviews and information on the Treasure Valley and great state of Idaho. The Boise area is home to many counties and ways of life, as well as many law enforcement agencies, like Ada County and Canyon county Sheriff offices, Idaho State Police, Eagle Police Department, Meridian Police Department, and many more. The school systems in the area are also quite diverse. Boise school district and West Ada School District, though right next to each other, are quite different. Idaho's wildlife and Fish and Game are also second to none across the country, but themselves have many incredible nuances and a rich history that is rarely explored.

The Ranch Podcast is shot just north of Eagle, Idaho.
