Love tells us what to pursue, protect and cherish. Hatred tells us what to avoid, what to fight and what to hold in contempt.
It is the emotional factory that produces motivation and energy to act in defiance of evil. A man incapable of hating his enemy is equally incapable of defeating the enemy that fully embraces its own hatred of him.
Embracing your nature and the natural order is freedom. Living in compliance with a system that hates you is not.
