Newey, the team's chief technical officer, will step back from F1 design duties this year and instead focus on Red Bull's RB17 hypercar project before leaving Red Bull altogether in early 2025. But why is Newey leaving? Will he end up joining a rival F1 team? And how will Red Bull cope with the loss of one of F1's most celebrated design geniuses?
