In our latest episode, we chat with Jake "The Snake" Paterson @snaketales, coming to us all the way from Western Australia. Jake tells us how being a pro surfer was the best job in the world, and why he loved surfing Hawaii so much. He talks about when surfing against fellow competitors on the North Shore he felt really comfortable and believed that they had to beat him in a heat. Like in the "98" Pipeline Masters, where Jake took down Kelly Slater in the semis and Bruce Irons in the final. "The Snake" describes the feeling he had in the Pipe final, and how with only seconds left, he took the win. WOW!! He speaks about why he made the hit Youtube show Snaketales, and how it's the real stuff behind the scenes that we don't get to see. Jake talks about the WSL and years of coaching pro surfers.
