Interview with Congressman Tom Rooney on Congress

In this episode, our featured speakers are Dr. Robert Lloyd and former Congressman Tom Rooney. Dr. Lloyd is the Dean of the School of Arts and Sciences and Executive Director of the LeMieux Center for Public Policy. Mr. Rooney served as a U.S. Representative from Florida in 2009 to 2019. He represented Florida's 16th congressional district from 2009 to 2013 and Florida's 17th congressional district from 2013 to 2019.  Dr. Lloyd and Mr. Rooney discuss his experiences while in Congress, current legislation in Congress, and his recent article in The Quill Publication focusing on the process of how bills become laws.
