Yep, I just gave it so much game, we decided to make this a two parters so it makes sense, you know, because Ice is Daily Game is a new podcast where he offers daily wisdom. There were not enough young black actors that had any potential to pull a crowd.

So they said iced tea selling millions of records.

So they used the power of the rapping Me and Chris being hot on the street, George Jackson and Doug mckenry. They put us in the row and the shit popped off. I was scared as fuck. The movie made eighty seven million dollars. I got paid twenty five thousand dollars.

So after we did the video, he says he I'm about to do a tour called Lollapalooza.

It's gonna have butthole surfers, Rollin's band.

He was naming bands he wanted to get and he said, I want to take a rapper out.

So what happened was I had an hour set, fifty five minute set, and then they said you could do whatever you want, and I split the set and I did half iced Tea half body Count.

That's where I introduced body Count to the world.

And uh, after I would do my rap set. I said, now I'm about to prove to you that rock and roll has nothing to do with color. It's a state of mind. And we turned the guitars up and bow and that was it.

You ain't want to remind them rock and roll was a jump anyway.

So well, you know, hip hop is rock, whether people want to claim it or not.

I wanted to ask about the Home Invasion record because that one came on priority. What led to that change from Warner to.

Party because after Cop Killer, Warner was scared to put my records out. So what happened was I came in with Home Invasion because now I'm consecutive. I had every record I put out with Gold and Power termed platinum. I'm hot over there, but they just went through some ship body count itself now it so it so gold twice.

It went gold with cop Killer, then when gold without cop Killer on it. Wow, I'm making money over there for them.

And I came in.

And they had my lyrics written on these big boards.

They wrote it out, and uh, I had some file lit. I had this one rhyme in G style where I say I give a fuck about a cop or a G man.

So all right, So back to my fan out question. Though it was there most challenging storyline, I appreciate. I just want to say how Chutuola has become an amazing grandfather to his gay sons, husbands and the children and whatnot. But what has been a challenging storyline for you in this journey?

Anything that does with children bothers me.

You know, I mean, I got a problem with you know, pedophilia, and all that old, weird, old shit.

And I got on that show and the storylines are so crazy and so dark and so weird, but they're real shit.

That's the girl from three seasons ago that wasn't gonna hook up with you?

Glass Jennifer got engaged and we let that rock out the whole season and we didn't get married.

But do you get a saying like the direction that your character goes? Not really?

Where my character goes as long as it doesn't die, you know, because close calls where it's like, okay, we got to talk to you or go to dinner. Like how do you know if your character is getting because you're not shot.

You get shot, I mean you get shot in the script and you see the shot. Then you go like this, oh shit, don't breath. I'm breathing on taking ship.

I survived that, you know. But now there's a producer or Lauren Ordter, we call the Grim Reaper. He takes me to dinner. It's around.

So when you get taken to dinner, you already know. Yeah.

I signed up with Dick Wolf and I'm like his ride or die. I've been on five shows with Dick Wolf, right, so he understands. And when I I told them on some real ship, I said, if y'all gonna get rid of me, give me six months advance, so I could book a tour or something.

And now being the longest running actor in television, they owe me that, you know, you know, so I'm like, I'm good with them. I told Dick Wolf straight up. I told him, I said, I'm on the show to the wheels all off. You know what I'm saying.

I don't have no plans in leaving, and you know, all things come to an end. We weren't getting ready to start the twenty fifth season, and at some point it'll be over. And then I'm just gonna go out and read for Samuel Jackson's parts.

Oohy, it's really gonna be over. I think that show is basically built to last.

Well, as long as you are, Mariska, to be honest, that's what I was wanting. I was like, you were, Mariska. I feel like, as long as y'all are, there is there at least an outside of the show, a relationship between you and Riska as well.

So a lot of times when I'm acting, I'm not thinking like a cop.

Now, the beauty of it is for me in LL is that our fans have matured with us.
