Psalm One is a prolific trailblazer in the independent hip-hop scene. The Chicago emcee first gained national attention with 2006's 'Death of Frequent Flyer' album, and has since released a slew of releases – both as a solo artist and in various groups – in addition to touring the world. Her most recent project comes not in the form of music but a book, with her memoir 'Her Word is Bond,' detailing her journey in the music industry and the challenges she has faced and overcome both personally and professionally along the way.
This classic episode predates that book, but it does offer plenty of insight as to Psalm's love for hip-hop music, the interesting path she has navigated throughout her career...and of course, her ability to flex her trivia skills.
