House Shoes just might be one of hip hop's most passionate torchbearers. The DJ/Producer/record label owner was an early champion of J. Dilla, and has since helped shine a light on a slew of incredibly dope artists – Quelle Chris, Elzhi, Stro Elliot, to name just a random few – through his co-signs, his production work, and through releases via his record label Street Corner Music. Shoes makes a return to the show (his first appearance in 2020 got lost in the archive) and talks about everything from the business of running a record label to the key to putting together a great album to the reason why he still hasn't forgiven Bob James. Oh yeah, all that and some hip-hop trivia!
