Episode description

This is the Queerty Interview, where we bring you conversations with the most exciting LGBTQ+ voices in entertainment, activism and beyond. In today's episode, we're diving into the buzzy new thriller Lurker. The film stars Théodore Pellerin as a retail employee who manages to worm his way into the inner circle of a rising pop star, played by Saltburn's Archie Madekwe. Lurker takes a lot of twists and turns we don't want to spoil here, but it's safe to say that the relationship between the two verges on the homoerotic.

With the film in theaters now, it's stirring up a lot of conversation. So I spoke with Pellerin and Madekwe about why they see Lurker as a love story, and they helped us unpack the deeper meaning of the movie's highly charged wrestling scene.
