In this episode, Rev. Jackson examines the deal between Jay-Z's Roc Nation and the NFL. There's a bit of misdirection going on and it has once again caused black people to choose between a beloved icon and a social justice protester. While Jay-Z may have good intentions, the fact that he's in business with an entity that has anything but (on top of the fact that he attached a business deal to a social justice cause) may ultimately taint his efforts. Key thought: Jay-Z playing "chess and not checkers" may not matter when you consider the fact that the people with the real power actually own the board.
