That obstacle in your path is a serious issue you must contend with to move forward. It is also the starting point to an epic story of triumph or failure that you must live to tell others.
We relaunched this project because we thought there was a need for more positively in the world. We’re glad you are listening, but also wonder if you are doing your part to contribute.
The first week of producing this podcast went well. Despite all the difficulties of getting it done, it got done. We’re going to celebrate that here.
Mike Lindell, the founder and CEO of My Pillow, did a very bad thing at a crucial point of the growth of his company. He paid the price for breaking a serious violation while continuing to break the bank with product sales because of it. I make no suggestions for breaking the rules, but send a reminder that sometimes a rule must be broken to make progress, and the price for breaking that rule must be paid, win or lose.
You didn't hit that mark or reach that goal. You can't seem to figure out how to score a victory, moral or otherwise. The situation looks awful, but you have to make sure you are viewing the situation in the proper perspective. There is nothing wrong with you.
We have the tendency to take deep reflections into our own mortality when we lose friends, loved ones, and famous people. But we make the mistake by comparing our accomplishments (or lack of) with theirs and expecting a ratio where the length of the two have real relevance.
I've taken up the challenge of making this thing an almost daily (Monday through Friday) podcast. A little bit why, and a call for support that sounds a lot like a plea for help.
The effectiveness of your coach is no based on how loud or animated they get when presenting on stage. It is based on how well the program they present to you offers the results up want to receive.
Although we use a more 'colorful' metaphor than the title presents, the point is exactly the same. You do not have the right to bring other people down just because you are feeling down yourself.
Basic polite behavior is becoming a lost art. If you are a person that others find lacking in this, just add the simple act of saying 'please' and 'thank you' in your normal conversations. The results will be instantaneous and amazing.
The purpose of this podcast was to and a few slivers of positivity to try to combat the mass of negativity in the world. It’s a huge job, and I would love your help.
While avoiding negative people is an easy way for you to stay positive, helping negative people be positive can easily spread the idea of positivism throughout the world. If you have the capacity to help, and they have the desire to be helped.
You never know how long a good, great, or just okay idea will continue to work until it merges with some other effort or dies out completely. The fear of the unknown is not an excuse to not put the idea into place to see how it plays out.
A place out of the norm for your routine will help you see life outside of your routine. It will help you see that if your routine is not so great, there are other places much greater to be, once you find a way to permanently disrupt your routine.
