It's been a little while that we usually say it. It's gonna be a short one. It's gonna be a short one which is apparently Which is a podcast which is Short for it's gonna be average time is probably still gonna be about an hour long It could even be longer than normal Your weekly dose of um, you needed this sort of content. Yeah, it wasn't too bad wasn't too bad. I uh had a bit of a big weekend because I renovated Harpers Room so Yeah, my oh my so I think Yeah, we were recording We were recording video when when I moved here so a few of the first Podcasts while I was in that room, right one of the other officers I used that is now Harpers Room So yeah, if you remember what that room looked like I do it's way different now We did the floor we did the walls we'd like trended all up it looks

We did a really good job of that Um, I'll put up photos eventually when I when it's finished because it's like we're still Got a couple things to do then but um, it looks cool man. That's a bit um, yeah, so we renovated Harpers Room. We went shopping yesterday now that Uh, we don't go shopping very often because it's usually a fucking nightmare and we lose so far away from the shops Yeah, but um, I think they're both getting to an age where it's actually pretty lit now What like uh, sort of a good man, like we so we like did our fucking morning routine every Sunday go for our walk and shoot right
Walk around town have some breake hang out for a bit and then it was like around 11 o'clock What's up? All right, we're gone now. We're gonna drop mom off it fucking have dinner with the cousins and friends and shit Yeah, and we're gonna go to the shops and they're gonna meet us there. That's the plan
Went to the Logan diaper dome or the bogeon diaper dome. Sorry, they're the hot as it's formerly known Yeah, the hyperhole is it's formerly known And we went to the arcade and dude we spent like an hour and a half at that arcade Just just play the games like you're getting in and you're getting a dome and I only spent $35 for an hour and a half
Actually, you know what dude? No, no, I'll also know it's none of the games were more than two dollars. Yeah, yeah But me and Kim uh, we when we fucking went there like ages like there's a couple of years now Fucking we got one of the cards and like you just say oh, I just want to put on like 30 bucks. We were there for ages Yeah, dude, we were there for ages and we're just like we're gonna go soon Yeah, we gotta go. Well see because I had you know like probably like
I think it was like two and a half to three hours. I knew I was gonna be two and a half to three hours I've got to kill yeah, right and I was like 35 bucks probably last us like it's I think it said um I think it was an hour for 20 bucks. Yeah, and I was like on those 40 minutes 40 minutes for 20 And I was like oh, that seems pretty good. I was like
But you know what I was like I want to go a little longer. I want to go like an hour I'll pay the $35 right get an extra little bit, you know arcades always do that right pay 35 dollars get $12 free credit So I did that and yeah, and I started like going like looking at all the games and we didn't go on like specifically cheap ones We went to like any of them all of yeah $2 I was just like this feels like like
Pretty good when we were going to the fucking late night on a Thursday prices man. Oh That's what it felt like I'm like it feels like Yeah, like almost 15 years ago Prices yeah is what it felt like and I was just like man, I'm getting old That's so that was a wild time. We'll we'll do our own race Yeah, we do our own race and we're fucking racing around their car like It's just us in the video and And like woo And then like this dad and his son sit down and then they challenge us and I was like oh all right I was like okay, you want some It just asks if you want to globally like challenge, right? Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's like and then it's like challenged everyone
It's like all right cool all three of us are racing. Yeah, we're sitting there. We're racing along like hanging air And then one of the workers sits down and he like he just like walks over his up And I'm like oh here we go He fucking Challenge, all right cool. His car was maxed out Like upgrades who was on fire like it was just radiating like rainbow flames You know what I mean spent some like time like he literally the top of the fucking leader chart type guy, right?
Like he really is the leader of all of the fucking race And I'm like I look over it and he's in a biazzat, right? If you know what a biazzat is it's an 8/6, right? So he was specifically though. It was a biazzat. Yeah Okay, and then I look over at mine and it says Toyota 8/6 I look at automatic 280 horsepower. I'm like Look over at his 800 horsepower
It's pretty close. It's pretty close I'm like oh, I don't think we're gonna win this arm like yeah, we raced against these like Fucking it was like you know giants It was a giant something's fucking arcade Because the other guy that we raced was also sort of like that like he had a card. It was like maxed out and shit
It's like this is just insane. I remember being these people And now I'm now I'm that fucking nerd dad Who brings his kids to the arcade and gets stomped on by the guys who were there all the time try to remember Um, I think a part of been tron tron had one of those fucking cards that like had the cars on it And he had like a 350 set on it And it was like I think it was because the game at the time was you know the devil Z It's fucking that was like that story arc or that

I think it was Three I played there was literally a cheat code by pushing the gear stick into a certain like number How many times type thing like first gear first gear third fourth third third third third third like you know literally like cheat code Yeah, it would unlock secret cars that you could then purchase with a card And you could upgrade and shit like you could get like the taxi van
That's the traffic van like you could have grade one and like you could just get these random fucking secret cars and shit It was some wild times man and like the developer mode sort of shit
And because this is like internet was like around but it wasn't huge huge yet. Yeah, you know what I mean So I was like, oh you could probably google it and find it if you went through some forums You know, it's got deep and it's old school forums man Yeah, like if you went like crazy June three like maxi tune forums And then you'd go through three and then you'd like find like secrets and you've got

I just said hey You got 30 minutes to do whatever the fuck you want like let's go do some stuff and they're just like I was gonna drive around the places I've never been to on this base before
Yeah, I was like that's a great idea. Yeah, fuck yeah, we're just going around We found like a dirt road This dude had like actually really impressive this dude had um It's an 800 kilo trailer so it's like it's just a trailer single-axle trailer on the back of this for we Uh car so gee-wake And um, yeah He goes up to the top of this like it's a family steep Gradient gravel and like he just goes up and we hit this fence and and he's and he's like oh damn
We can't go any further and I was like well Can you reverse the trailer and then like like you know turn around can you hook it in the turn around yeah, and he's like looking around He's like Nah, I reckon I can reverse that the whole way down and what Sure, man, we're we've just like it's at least 400 meters And he's like he's like I'll give it a go and but sure sweet

The light comes on. We take it back he fixes it up. We go for another drive just to make sure And he's we go up to this way station and he's like just pull over here next to this tree I just want to check something and um I'm like oh how close and he's like yeah, stop there, stop there, you're cool And then he opens up the door and he's like leaning through the window and he's picking Fucking berries It's a mulberry tree And he's like picking all these berries and shoving them into his hat
He's picking heaps more and he's like can you move forward like five meters? Like like a meter or something like yeah show it just move forward and then he's like It's like picking more berries and shoving them into his hat and he's like you want a mulberry?
I'm like yeah fuck you don't want a mulberry And we just sat in the truck with like the aircon on like a holiday And I was like how do you fucking know that there's like mulberry trees around and he's like Oh sometimes I bring the kids on the base and we just go and pick berries

Bums sniffing dogs. Mm. I didn't realize we had bombs sniffing dogs on base But like we get close to like where the thing is and we pull up and we're looking at these bears and just talking about them And then these dogs just start fucking And we're like oh, okay, and he's like might be time to go man

He's like um Where he took he's he records he took his kids on and um they got to that bush the kid the dog started barking and and his kids to start barking back and then they'll keep picking the berries I was like oh, I was like this is this is fun So my next that's wow for my next idea was Okay, well, I'm still in the structure. We you know, we get back to the yard
I say all right cool man. It's you know the cab block doesn't it's not going off anymore. It must be fixed well done Um, I'm gonna I'm gonna head back up to the transport yard and I'm gonna you know continue getting some dudes to drive Yeah, and um I go up there and I'm just like He wants to go for a drive And everyone's a sore wet
And one dude's like yeah, all right. Yeah, let's go for a drive and what all right cool And and this guy I've been driving with before you know and um Those shots we get the car we get the car and he's like okay cool man

I was trying to out with him. Yeah, um it's good, but I need to give it way more time. Yeah, yeah, same same because I did the exact thing I think I listened to it once through and I need I need more time with that album Um, yeah, one of us say about nae palm uh it is short it's it's angry The slow parts feel so uh like hard they feel like really Important if that makes sense Um even even just the first track the whole entire build-up and then it's then you don't realize that you're in the middle of the song
And it's like and you're already like it's it's so uh like it's it's so Glonky wonky fucking like
It's um I love it though. It's so fucking it's it's fun Getters like it's the easiest way to explain it is like screech screech screech screech warm And then some more screeching yeah yeah yeah literally it's like That's what it sounds like but in a good way yeah in a really really good way I think that's because like gator knows he's like really uh he's invested himself into sound design Yeah, yeah, and like each little different baseline and an extra little new little screech or you know
The noise he utilizes noise really well um, I don't know it all it obviously um, you know you can you can create a random setting in fucking Serum or something or whatever he was using you know, and then you go well This is now my new bass sound and all I need to do is transform a little bit and then start like Side-chaining it and then it's just a fucking bang us right away, right sometimes It really does feel like each uh like new sound was just like crafted
so like so uh like on purpose that there was intent Behind each try or you say like none of it was a preset Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, um I love it though. I love it. It's just I keep coming back to that because I can't think of anything else that's like uh I don't have any other like feeling for this album, but I love it because it's so it's so fucking cool
It tickled my brain. It's all the the different sounds um his uses of like Adaways and baselines and jolada from a production point super super intensive really cool It's not a difficult listen. This isn't like oh man I have to really put on my thinking cap for this one.
